Jam menunjukkan angka 4 pagi. Suasana hening. Tak ada yang bergerak kecuali dedaunan pohon yang ditiup oleh angin malam hari. Ujung-ujung dahan merangkul jendela rumahku.
Tiba-tiba alarm berbunyi. Khadijah langsung mematikan alarm. Bangun dan bergegas ke kamar mandi. Langkahnya begitu berat karena ia tengah mengandung 8 bulan. Perutnya semakin membesar dan kakinya membengkak. Mudah lelah, nafasnya berat dan wajahnya pucat, matanya membengkak karena banyak menangis.
Ia tetap bangun malam itu, padahal adzan subuh masih satu jam lagi. Khadijah adalah teman dekatku, usia perkawinannya sekitar tiga tahun. Pada saat diberitakan positif hamil, ia dan suaminya sangat girang membayangkan segera dapat menggendong anak pertamanya.
Namun pada beberapa bulan usia kehamilannya di saat visit ke dokter spesialis kandungan, setelah mendapatkan pemeriksaan sebagaimana biasa, lalu dokter tersebut mengatakan bahwa bayi yang dikandungnya mengalami kelainan organik, hanya memiliki satu ginjal!
Subhanallah, ini terjadi di negeri Barat, yang ilmu kedokterannya sangat maju. Tetapi para dokternya tidak memiliki perasaan manusiawi sedikitpun, salah satu korbannya adalah temanku Khadijah yang secara psikologis menjadi takut dan mencekam setelah mendengar vonis dokter perihal bayinya.
Khadijah keluar dari pemeriksaan dengan wajah yang layu. Seperti orang yang linglung tidak tahu bagaimana bisa sampai ke rumah, kelahiran pertama dengan bayi yang hanya memiliki satu ginjal? Apa yang harus dilakukan? Ataukah dokternya yang salah mendiagnosa?
Khadijah dan suaminya tetap berikhtiar ke dokter lain, tetapi tetap saja mereka menjelaskan diagnosa yang sama, satu ginjal!!! Setiap kali visit ke dokter harapannya semakin tipis, hingga akhirnya ia pasrah menerima kenyataan.
Dokter terakhir yang menjadi langganannya mengatakan bahwa hendaknya ia jangan membuat dirinya menjadi lelah dan stres, karena hal itu tidak akan merubah keadaan anaknya.
Setelah itu ia sadar bahwa tidak ada yang dapat diperbuat olehnya melainkan menghadap Allah dengan doa. Sejak saat itu ia selalu bangun di sepertiga malam untuk tahajud dan mendoakan anak yang kelak akan dilahirkannya, ia yakin dengan firman Allah,
“Dan apabila hamba-hamba-Ku bertanya kepadamu tentang aku, maka (jawablah), bahwasanya Aku adalah dekat. Aku mengabulkan permohonan orang yang berdoa apabila ia memohon kepada-Ku, maka hendaklah mereka itu memenuhi (segala perintah-Ku) dan hendaklah mereka beriman kepada-Ku, agar mereka selalu berada dalam kebenaran.” (QS Al Baqarah 2:186)
“Dan jika Allah menimpakan sesuatu kemudharatan kepadamu, maka tidak ada yang menghilangkannya melainkan Dia sendiri. Dan jika Dia mendatangkan kebaikan kepadamu, maka dia Maha Kuasa atas tiap-tiap sesuatu.” (QS Al-An’am :t 17)
“Jika Allah menimpakan sesuatu kemudharatan kepadamu, maka tidak ada yang dapat menghilangkannya kecuali Dia. Dan jika Allah menghendaki kebaikan bagi kamu, maka tak ada yang dapat menolak kurniaNya. Dia memberikan kebaikan itu kepada siapa yang dikehendaki-Nya di antara hamba-hamba-Nya dan Dia-lah yang Maha Pengampun lagi Maha Penyayang.” (QS. Yunus: 107.)
“Dan Tuhanmu berfirman: “Berdoalah kepada-Ku, niscaya akan Kuperkenankan bagimu. Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang menyombongkan diri dari menyembah-Ku akan masuk neraka Jahannam dalam keadaan hina dina”. ((Q.S Al Mukmin : 60)
Juga Rasulullah SAW bersabda,
“Setiap malam Allah Ta’ala turun ke langit dunia, ketika datang sepertiga malam terakhir, lalu Allah berfirman, “Barang siapa yang berdoa kepada-Ku akan Aku kabulkan, siapa yang meminta kepada-Ku, Aku berikan, siapa yang memohon ampun kepada-Ku Aku ampuni”. (HR Bukhari Muslim).
Khadijah yakin tidak ada tempat untuk mengadu kecuali kepada-Nya, karena itu ia tidak ragu-ragu untuk selalu bangun satu jam sebelum fajar atau lebih. Meskipun kehamilannya menyebabkan lelah dan kurang tidur.
Setiap malam selalu bangun di sepertiga akhirnya, sujud di tempat shalat dengan penuh khusyu, seraya memohon kepada Allah agar dikaruniai seorang putri yang sehat dengan ginjal normal (dua ginjal). Ia terus berdoa dengan suara yang lirih.
Tangisnya membasahi alas sujudnya. Tidak luput semalam pun dan tidak bosan sedikitpun dari sujud dan ruku’. Meskipun melakukannya dengan susah payah, ia tidak surut dari usahanya dan tidak mengeluh sedikitpun.
Setiap kali dokter kandungan memberitahukan hasil pemeriksaan, semakin bertambah semangatnya untuk qiyamullail di sepertiga malam terakhir.
Suaminya sangat iba kepadanya setiap malam bangun untuk bermunajat, sang suami khawatir istrinya depresi ketika putrinya lahir dengan satu ginjal. Namun ia sadar bahwasanya Allah SWT terkadang mengabulkan doa di akhir (last minutes), sebagaimana Rasulullah SAW bersabda dari Abu Said Al-Khudry,
“Tiada seorang muslim berdoa dengan doa yang tidak mengandung unsur dosa dan memutus silaturahim, melainkan Allah berikan kepadanya tiga kemungkinan: dipercepat pengabulan doanya, ditangguhkan pengabulan doanya sampai di akhirat nanti, atau dihindarkan dari keburukan sebanding dengan kebaikan yang diminta. Para sahabat berkata, “Kalau begitu kita minta sebanyak-banyaknya.” Nabi bersabda, ”Allah lebih banyak lagi (karunia-Nya).” (HR. Ahmad).
Ia selalu mengingatkan suaminya bahwa tidak ada jalan baginya kecuali meminta kepada Allah. Jika tidak meminta kepada Allah, kepada siapa lagi kita meminta? Sebagaimana syair mengatakan:
Jangan meminta sesuatu kepada anak Adam ..
Mintalah kepada Yang pintu-Nya tak tertutup ...
Allah marah jika Anda tidak meminta-Nya ..
Sedang anak Adam marah jika diminta ...
Bagaimana Anda tidak meminta kepada Allah SWT, sementara Rasulullah telah meriwayatkan dari Tuhan melalui hadits qudsi,
“Hai hambaKu, seandainya yang pertama dari kalian dan yang terakhir dari kalian, seluruh manusia dan jin berdiri di satu tempat, lalu mereka meminta kepadaku, maka akan aku kabulkan permintaannya masing-masing, tidak ada yang berkurang sedikitpun dari-Ku, kecuali seperti berkurangnya air laut ketika jarum dimasukkan ke dalamnya lalu diangkatnya” (HR. Muslim)
Dua pekan sebelum kelahirannya, Khadijah datang ke rumahku. Ketika masuk waktu Zhuhur kami shalat berjamaah. Ketika aku bangun dari shalat, tangannya merengkuh tanganku seraya berkata bahwasanya ia merasakan sesuatu yang aneh.
Lalu kami segera pergi ke rumah sakit, ternyata hal itu adalah tanda-tanda akan melahirkan. Aku berdiri di sampingnya. Ia terus banyak berdoa dan memohon semoga anaknya yang lahir selamat dan normal dengan dua ginjal.
Setelah berjuang antara hidup dan mati, putrinya pun lahir, ia memberinya nama “Fatimah”. Fatimah lahir dengan berat badan yang kurang, posturnya kecil, akibat dari hanya satu ginjal yang dimilikinya. Khadijah menangis dan aku pun tak kuasa menahan tangis, karena membayangkan bagaimana Fatimah dapat hidup dengan hanya satu ginjal?
Tiba-tiba dokter datang dan yang mengejutkan dokter tersebut berkata bahwa ternyata Fatimah kondisinya sehat dan yang lebih mengagetkan lagi dokter menyatakan bahwa ternyata ginjalnya dua (normal). Kami terhenyak sejenak seperti tak percaya dengan semua ini. Subhanallah! Alangkah Penyayangnya Allah kepada makhluk-Nya.
Kini Fatimah berumur 5 tahun, semoga Allah melindunginya dan menjadikannya sebagai penyedap mata bagi yang memandangnya.
