Karena bahkan satu hal saja dari keteraturan koloni rayap ini, misalnya saluran peredaran udara, sudah cukup untuk membuktikan bahwa sistem ini tidak bisa terjadi secara kebetulan saja. Pastilah rayap-rayap buta ini tidak dapat memastikan keteraturan yang sempurna ini dan tidak mampu melakukan seluruh pekerjaan ini tanpa cela. Pastilah mereka telah diajari untuk melakukannya.
Allah telah menyebutkan beberapa hewan di dalam Al Qur’an dan mengajak kita untuk merenungkan contoh-contoh tersebut. Misalnya, lebah madu dijadikan contoh dalam Surat An-Nahl. Dalam ayat ini, kita diberitahu bahwa lebah-lebah yang menghasilkan madu untuk kita diajari untuk melakukan hal itu oleh Allah. Ayat-ayatnya adalah:
Dan Tuhanmu mengilhamkan kepada lebah, “Buatlah sarang di bukit-bukit, di pohon-pohon kayu, dan di tempat-tempat yang dibuat oleh manusia. Kemudian, makanlah dari setiap (macam-macam) buah-buahan dan tempuhlah jalan Tuhanmu yang telah dimudahkan (bagimu).” Dari perut lebah itu keluar minuman (madu) yang bermacam-macam warnanya, di dalamnya terdapat obat yang menyembuhkan bagi manusia. Sesungguhnya, pada hal seperti itu benar-benar terdapat tanda (kebesaran Tuhan) bagi orang-orang yang memikirkan (QS An-Nahl: 68-69).
Seperti lebah-lebah yang disebutkan di dalam ayat-ayat di atas, rayap hidup menurut cara yang diajarkan Allah dan difirmankan kepada mereka. Allah-lah Yang menciptakan komunikasi sempurna di antara makhluk-makhluk buta ini, mengajari mereka apa yang harus dilakukan, dan menyuruh setiap anggota jutaan rayap yang tergabung dalam sebuah koloni mengerjakan tugas mereka.
Hai Manusia! Ingatlah akan nikmat Allah kepadamu. Adakah pencipta selain Allah yang dapat memberikan rezeki kepada kamu dari langit dan bumi? Tidak ada Tuhan (yang berhak disembah) selain Dia; Mengapa kamu berpaling (dari ketauhidan)? (QS Faathir:3)
