Kesatuan Aksi Mahasiswa Muslim Indonesia (KAMMI) Medan menilai sejumlah kebijakan yang dikeluarkan pemerintah di awal 2017 semakin menekan kaum kecil. Pernyataan ini menyikapi naiknya harga bahan bakar minyak (BBM), tarif tenaga listrik (TTL) serta biaya pengurusan surat tanda nomor kendaraan (STNK) dan bukti pemilikan kendaraan bermotor (BPKB).
Ketua Umum KAMMI Medan Ahmad Taufiq Tambunan mengatakan, kenaikan-kenaikan tersebut akan berdampak langsung kepada masyarakat golongan menengah ke bawah. "Kebijakan yang dikeluarkan pemerintah di awal tahun ini jadi 'kado terindah' dari Jokowi untuk kembali mencekik wong cilik," kata Taufiq dalam orasinya di kantor DPRD Sumut, Medan, Senin (9/1) sore.
Dalam aksi unjuk rasa tersebut, puluhan massa KAMMI Medan membawa sejumlah spanduk dan karton berisikan penolakan mereka terhadap berbagai kenaikan. Mereka pun bergantian menyampaikan orasi.
Selain itu, Taufiq juga mengomentari aksi saling lempar yang dipertontonkan oleh para petinggi negeri ini. Dia menilai, dalam memutuskan kebijakan, ada ketidaktegasan dari pemerintah terkait pihak yang bertanggungjawab atas kenaikan-kenaikan tersebut.
Para pejabat lembaga negara, mulai dari kepolisian, kementerian hingga presiden, kata Taufiq, terus saling melempar tanggung jawab. "Ini menunjukkan adanya komunikasi yang kurang baik dalam internal pemerintah," ujar dia.
Melihat realita yang ada dan dampak yang muncul, Taufiq menyatakan, KAMMI Medan dengan tegas menolak keputusan pemerintah menaikkan tarif BBM, TTL serta STNK dan BPKB. "Kami mengimbau pemerintah untuk meninjau ulang keputusan itu," kata Taufiq.
Kedatangan massa KAMMI ini disambut oleh pimpinan dan sejumlah anggota DPRD Sumut. Wakil Ketua DPRD Sumut Syamsul Qadri Marpaung berjanji, pihaknya akan menyampaikan aspirasi KAMMI terkait berbagai kenaikan yang terjadi saat ini.
"Yang disampaikan hari ini, saya berjanji secara lembaga insititusi akan meminta pimpinan untuk menyurati pemerintah pusat untuk meninjau kembali kebijakan-kebijakan tersebut, termasuk PP Nomor 60 Tahun 2016 tentang tarif PNBP, seperti STNK dan BPKB," kata Syamsul.

Dalam aksi unjuk rasa tersebut, puluhan massa KAMMI Medan membawa sejumlah spanduk dan karton berisikan penolakan mereka terhadap berbagai kenaikan. Mereka pun bergantian menyampaikan orasi.
Selain itu, Taufiq juga mengomentari aksi saling lempar yang dipertontonkan oleh para petinggi negeri ini. Dia menilai, dalam memutuskan kebijakan, ada ketidaktegasan dari pemerintah terkait pihak yang bertanggungjawab atas kenaikan-kenaikan tersebut.
Para pejabat lembaga negara, mulai dari kepolisian, kementerian hingga presiden, kata Taufiq, terus saling melempar tanggung jawab. "Ini menunjukkan adanya komunikasi yang kurang baik dalam internal pemerintah," ujar dia.
Melihat realita yang ada dan dampak yang muncul, Taufiq menyatakan, KAMMI Medan dengan tegas menolak keputusan pemerintah menaikkan tarif BBM, TTL serta STNK dan BPKB. "Kami mengimbau pemerintah untuk meninjau ulang keputusan itu," kata Taufiq.
Kedatangan massa KAMMI ini disambut oleh pimpinan dan sejumlah anggota DPRD Sumut. Wakil Ketua DPRD Sumut Syamsul Qadri Marpaung berjanji, pihaknya akan menyampaikan aspirasi KAMMI terkait berbagai kenaikan yang terjadi saat ini.
"Yang disampaikan hari ini, saya berjanji secara lembaga insititusi akan meminta pimpinan untuk menyurati pemerintah pusat untuk meninjau kembali kebijakan-kebijakan tersebut, termasuk PP Nomor 60 Tahun 2016 tentang tarif PNBP, seperti STNK dan BPKB," kata Syamsul.
