Data penelitian menunjukkan jika buah sirsak mengandung beberapa zat gizi utama yang penting bagi tubuh, serta berbagai mineral, vitamin, dan senyawa fitokimia yang tidak saja baik untuk kesehatan, namun juga bermanfaat untuk menjaga kecantikan. Kandungan-kandungan tersebut antara lain adalah karbohidrat, serat alami, zat besi, kalsium, fosfor, vitamin A, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin C, annonain, muricine, muricinine, tannin, acetaldehyde, ananol, dan anomurine.
Mengobati Mencret Pada Bayi
Ambil daging buah sirsak yang sudah masak, peras dan saring untuk diambil sarinya saja (cukup 2-3 sdm), lalu minumkan pada bayi yang sedang bermasalah.
Mengobati Ambeien
Caranya sama seperti diatas, yaitu dengan memeras dan menyaring daging buah sirsak untuk diambil sarinya saja (1 gelas). Minum sari buah sirsak ini 2 kali sehari pada waktu pagi dan sore hari, masing-masing sebanyak 1 gelas.
Perlu diperhatikan bahwa walaupun pengobatan tradisional dengan memanfaatkan daun sirsak dan buah sirsak telah lama dipraktekkan secara turun-temurun, namun secara uji ilmiah, khasiat daun sirsak dan buah sirsak belum pernah di-ujicobakan langsung ke manusia. Selama ini penelitian yang telah dilakukan baru pada hewan laboratorium dan tabung kultur. Jadi sangat disarankan untuk berkonsultasi kepada dokter terlebih dahulu jika ingin menggunakan daun sirsak ataupun buah sirsak untuk mengobati penyakit-penyakit yang serius.
