Pada kesempatan kali ini kita akan mempelajari Keutamaan membaca Al Quran. Pertanyaan muncul, Sudahkah anda membaca al quran hari ini? Berapa ayatkah yang anda baca setiap hari? Ataukah sama sekali anda lupa atau dengan sengaja mengabaikannya?
Kadang tanpa kita sadari, dengan bertambah banyaknya aktifitas keseharian kita, seolah kita lupa dengan Al Quran yang kita taruh di atas meja kita, lemari atau munngkin dalam saku kita.
Seakan hanya sekedar menjadi hiasan maupun pajangan diantara buku-buku dan majalah lainnya astaghfirullah.. Sungguh rugi bagi mereka yang jauh dari lantunan dan bacaan al quran.
Rasulullah SAW bersabda:
“Sesungguhnya barang siapa yang dalam dirinya tiada bacaan al quran maka ia seperti halnya rumah yang roboh”
Keutamaan Membaca Al Quran dalam islam adalah;
1. Sebaik-baik manusia yang mempelajari dan mengajarkan alquran
Sabda Nabi Muhammad saw: “Sebaik-baik kalian adalah siapa yang memperlajari al-Qur’an dan mengamalkannya.” (HR. Bukhari)
2. Pahala membaca Al Quran
Sabda Nabi Muhammad saw: “Siapa saja membaca satu huruf dari Kitab Allah (Al-Qur’an), maka baginya satu kebaikan, dan satu kebaikan itu dibalas dengan sepuluh kali lipatnya.” (HR. At-Tirmidzi).
3. Keutaman membaca Al Quran, Menghafalnya dan pandai membacanya
Sabda Nabi Muhammad saw: “Perumpamaan orang yang membaca al-Qur’an sedang ia hafal dengannya bersama para malaikat yang suci dan mulia, sedang perumpamaan orang yang membaca al-Qur’an sedang ia senantiasa melakukannya meskipun hal itu sulit baginya maka baginya dua pahala.” (Muttafaq ‘alaih).
4. Pahala bagi orang yang anaknya mempelajari Al Quran
“Siapa saja membaca al-Qur’an, mempelajarinya dan mengamalkannya, maka dipakaikan kepada kedua orang tuanya pada hari kiamat mahkota dari cahaya dan sinarnya bagaikan sinar matahari, dan dikenakan pada kedua orang tuanya dua perhiasan yang nilainya tidak tertandingi oleh dunia. Keduanya pun bertanya, ‘bagaimana dipakaikan kepda kami semuanya itu?’ Dijawab, ‘karena anakmu telah membawa al-Qur’an”. (HR. Al-Hakim).
5. Al Quran memberi syafa’at kepada ahlinya di akhirat
Sabda Nabi Muhammad saw: “Bacalah al-Qur’an karena ia akan datang pada hari kiamat sebagai pemberi syafa’at kepada para ahlinya.” (HR. Muslim) Dan sabda beliau Nabi Muhammad saw: “Puasa dan Al-Qur’an keduanya akan memberikan syafa’at kepada seorang hamba pada hari kiamat…” (HR. Ahmad dan Al-Hakim).
6. Pahala bagi orang yang berkumpul untuk membaca dn mengkajinya
Nabi Muhammad saw bersabda: “Tidak berkumpul sauatu kaum di salah satu rumah Allah SWT, sedang mereka membaca kitab-Nya dan mengkajinya, melainkan mereka akan dilimpahi ketenangan, dicurahi rahmat, diliputi para malaikat, dan disanjungi oleh Allah di hadapan para makhluk dan di sisi-Nya.” (HR. Abu Dawud).
7. Dapat menentramkan hati
“(yaitu) orang-orang yang beriman dan hati mereka manjadi tenteram dengan mengingat Allah. Ingatlah, hanya dengan mengingati Allah-lah hati menjadi tenteram.” (QS.13:28).
8. Dapat menyembuhkan penyakit
“Hendaknya kamu menggunakan kedua obat-obat: madu dan Al-Qur’an” (HR. Ibnu Majah dan Ibnu Mas’ud).
9. Pembaca Al Quran dikurniakan hatinya dengan cahaya oleh Allah SWT dan dipeliharanya dari kegelapan
Diriwayatkan dari Abu Hurairah ra yang maksudnya: “Bahwa Rasulullah saw bersabda: “Siapa yang medengar satu ayat daripada Kitab Allah Ta’ala (al-Qur’an) ditulis baginya satu kebaikan yang berlipat ganda. Siapa yang membacanya pula, baginya cahanya di hari kiamat.”
10. Pembaca Al Quran memperoleh kemulian dan diberi rahmat kepada ibu bapaknya
Nabi Muhammad saw bersabda maksudnya: “Siapa yang membaca Al-Qur’an dan beramal dengan isi kandungannya, dianugerahkan kedua ibu bapaknya mahkota di hari kiamat. Cahayanya (mahkota) lebih baik dari cahaya matahari di rumah-rumah dunia. Kalaulah demikian itu matahari berada di rumahmu (dipenuhi dengan sinarnya), maka apa sangkaan kamu terhadap yang beramal dengan ini (al-Qur’an).” (HR. Abu Daud).
11. Pembaca Al Quran memperoleh kedudukan yang tinggi dalam syurga
Bersabda Rasulullah saw yang maksudnya: Dikatakan kepada pembaca al-Qur,an: “Bacalah (al-Qur’an), naiklah (pada darjat-darjat syurga) dan bacalah dengan tartil sebagaimana engkau membacanya dengan tartil didunia. Sesungguhnya kedudukan drajatmu sehingga kadar akhir ayat yang engkau baca.” (HR. Ahmad).
12. Membaca satu huruf Al Quran akan memperoleh sepuluh kebaikan
Rasulullah saw bersabda: “Barang siapa yang membaca satu huruf kitab Allah, maka ia akan mendapatkan satu kebaikan dengan huruf itu, dan satu kebaikan akan dilipatgandakan menjadi sepuluh. Aku tidaklah mengatakan Alif Laam Miim itu satu huruf, tetapi alif satu huruf, lam satu huruf dan Mim satu huruf.” (HR. Tirmidzi).
13. Orang yang membaca Al Quran secara terang-terangan seperti bersedekah secara terang-terangan
Rasulullah saw bersabda: “Orang yang membaca Al-Qur’an terang-terangan seperti orang yang bersedekah terang-terangan, orang yang membaca Al-Qur’an secara tersembunyi seperti orang yang bersedekah secara sembunyi.” (HR. Abu Dawud, Tirmidzi dan Nasa’i, lihat shahihul jaami’:3105).
14. Al Quran akan menjadi syafaat bagi orang yang membacanya
Rasulullah SAW bersabda dalam salah satu hadistnya “Bacalah Al Quran karena ia akan datang pada hari kiamat untuk memberi syafaat kepada orang yang telah membaca dan mengamalkan isinya”
15. Al Quran adalah cahaya ditengah kegelapan
Sabda Rasulullah saw,”Aku wasiatkan kepada kalian agar bertakwa kepada Allah dan Al Qur’an sesungguhnya ia adalah cahaya kegelapan, petunjuk di siang hari maka bacalah dengan sungguh-sungguh.” (HR. Baihaqi)
16. Ahlul Quran adalah keluarga Allah SWT
Sabda Rasulullah saw,”Sesungguhnya Allah mempunyai keluarga dari kalangan manusia.’ Beliau saw ditanya,’Siapa mereka wahai Rasulullah.’ Beliau saw menjawab,’mereka adalah Ahlul Qur’an, mereka adalah keluarga Allah dan orang-orang khusus-Nya.” (HR. Ahmad dan Ibnu Majah)
17. Yang mahir membaca dia akan bersama malaikat, dan yang terbata-bata mendapat dua pahala
Sabda Rasulullah SAW “Orang yang mahir membaca Al-Qur’an kelak (mendapat tempat disurga) bersama para utusan yang mulia lagi baik. Sedangkan orang yang membaca Al-Qur’an dan masih terbata-bata, dan merasa berat dan susah, maka dia mendapatkan dua pahala.”
Dua pahala ini, salah satunya merupakan balasan dari membaca Al-Qur’an itu sendiri, sedangkan yang kedua adalah atas kesusahan dan keberatan yang dirasakan oleh pembacanya.

Demikian beberapa keutamaan yang Allah berikan kepada orang-orang yang membaca al quran sekaligus mengamalkan isi kandungannya. Semoga tulisan ini dapat mengingatkan kita untuk selalu membaca al quran kapan dan dimanapun berada. Diriwayatkan dari Abu Hurairah bahwa Nabi shallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam bersabda, “Sesungguhnya rumah yang di dalamnya dibacakan surat Al-Baqarah, tidak akan bisa dimasuki setan.” (HR. Muslim)
Bacalah al quran… bacalah dan amalkanlah kandungan isi yang ada dalam al quran itu, niscaya kita semua nantinya akan termasuk orang- orang yang beruntung kelak dihari akhir nanti. semoga dengan membaca artikel di atas bisa menambah wawasan dunia islam kita.
