Selain itu, ada dua studi lain dari periode ketika pengaruh Big Pharma itu tidak terlalu besar. Salah satu studi ini diterbitkan di Britain, Lancet, 35 tahun yang lalu, dan yang lainnya yang diterbitkan di Israel, pada tahun 1978. Studi kedua memiliki implikasi yang sama dan kesimpulan yang sama.
