akucintaislami.com - Memang dirinya penuh keajaiban sejak mulai dilahirkan. Terlahir dari keluarga Kristen sebagai anak ke-9 (wow!), ia juga benar-benar terlahir lewat cara ajaib, dari seorang ibu yang alami kelumpuhan anggota badan tangan dan kaki setelah usia kandungan 5 bln.. Ajaib juga, kalau kelahiran dirinya mengikuti kesembuhan ibunya. Alhamdulillah… Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala telah menyembuhkan ibunya, dan melalui sentuhan ilahi menjadikan dia lahir ke dunia dan jadi seorang anak yang ajaib.
Dakwahnya dimulai sejak mulai Bayi!
Saat usia 9-bulan, ia mengingatkan pada orang tuanya untuk melakukan Aqiqah. Ia juga menyampaikan menginginkan jadi Muslim. Pastinya orang tuanya yang saat itu masih tetap Kristen menolaknya. Dan baru terwujud di satu masjid lokal saat ia berusia 3-tahun.
Saat proses Aqiqah di Masjid Gongoni, waktu tersebut berjalan kegemparan. Ia lewat cara ajaib berkhotbah tentang Islam tanpa ada diajari oleh siapapun, di usia tiga th.. Menyusul peristiwa di masjid itu dan apa yang berjalan di dalamnya, kakaknya, Michael, saat itu juga jadi Muslim bersamaan dirinya.
Bapaknya, seorang Inspektur Polisi jadi murka. Ia lewat cara khusus mengambil cuti untuk memaksa ke-2 anaknya jadi Kristen kembali, bahkan siap membunuhnya dengan pistol polisinya.
Namun setelah berdiskusi, dan ia tahu kalah dalam pertempuran alasan, ia lalu merelakan anaknya jadi Muslim.
Bahkan ia sendiri berhasrat untuk belajar dan tahu Islam. Lalu, ia tidak bisa lagi menolak kebenaran dan mengatakan harus berhimpun dengan anaknya di jalan yang benar. Ia kembali pada fitrah, jadi Muslim, memeluk agama Islam bersamaan semua keluarganya. Ia mengubah nama baptisnya dari Maurice Robert Matongo jadi Mikidadi Matongo.
Demikian juga istrinya, dari Clemencial Michael Isamaki jadi Marriam ; dari Monica Leonard Jomanga jadi Mwanaisha. Semua anaknya juga telah jadi Muslim : Sara-Sarah ; Albert-Abubakar ; Mesent-Abdillahi ; Devother-Fadhila ; Boniface-Ibrahim ; Grace-Faudhia ; Samwel-Hamza ; Jane-Sharifa ; dan Michael-Yussuf dan tentunya… Ya, si Anak Ajaib itu!, Fidelis, yang lahir di Kiloleni (10/10/1986), kota Tabora, Tanzania Utara, Afrika Timur. Dikenal sebagai Sheikh Shariff sejak mulai 22 Desember 1989 setelah khotbah hebohnya di Masjid Gongoni sekalian saat itu ia jadi Muslim. Mengenai “Fidelis” menurut cerita bapaknya buknlah yaitu nama baptis, tetapi semata pemberian darinya untuk mengingat kelahirannya. Bahkan menurut perbincangan dari
beberapa sumber,Fidelis mengemukakan : “Mama usinibibaptize, naamini kwa Alla na jumbe

Didalamnya, diterangkan salah satunya, bila pada usia empat bln. ia mulai membaca ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an. Pada usia satu tahun, ia bisa membaca semuanya Al-Qur’an dan mulai dapat bicara dalam bhs Arab, Swahili dan Perancis.
Saat usia lima th., ia dapat berkotbah dalam lima bhs, Inggris, Perancis, Italia, Swahili dan bhs Arab-meskipun ia benar-benar tidak melalui studi khusus. Ia yakni pengkhotbah yang menarik sebagian ribu orang. Di usia ini bisa, sejumlah seribu orang telah jadi Muslim melalui dakwahnya.
Mengenai dalam beberapa perjalanan dakwah kemudian, pada Mei 1994 sampai Desember 1994 Sheikh Shariff berkhotbah di Kota Dar es Salaam. Tempat Pantai, Lushoto, di lokasi Tanga, Morogoro di lokasi Morogoro dan di Zanzibar. Dimana keseluruhnya 6870 orang kembali ke Islam. Dari Maret 1995 sampai Desember 1995 ia berkhotbah di Dar es salaam, semua tempat Pantai, tempat Lindi. Di tempat Mtwara dan Songea, Tunduma, Mbinga dan Ruvuma, dimana keseluruhnya 7. 805 orang kembali ke Islam.
Dari Mei 1996 sampai Januari 1997, ia berkhotbah di tempat Morogoro, tempat Tanga, Iringa, Dodoma, Singida, Arusha, dan di tempat Moshi Kilimanjaro. Ini yakni th. yang sama dimana Sheikh Shariff mulai go internasional dengan pergi ke Kenya. Sebentar di Kenya, ia berkhotbah di Mombasa, Malindi, dan Voi, di Kitui, Matinyani, dan Mwingi. Lalu geser ke Nairobi City. Selama kunjungan di Kenya, keseluruhnya 38. 942 orang memeluk Islam, dst…
7 Juli 2004 ia pergi ke Uni Emirat Arab di Dubai selama 1 minggu, lalu kembali ke Oman hingga Agustus 2004, lalu kembali ke Tanzania. Ia melanjutkan dakwah di semua tempat dan provinsi Tanzania, dimana diperkirakan semakin lebih 50. 000 orang masuk Islam.
Dst… dst… sampai beberapa waktu itu, Sheikh Sharrif bersamaan tim dakwahnya dan dukungan bermacam pihak ; diantara kemudahan, halangan dan rintangan, alhamdulillah… sudah semakin lebih 6. 676. 269 pria dan wanita telah dapatkan kebenaran, telah ada diatas jalan lurus, memeluk Islam. Kembali ke fitrahnya
Dakwahnya dimulai sejak mulai Bayi!
Saat usia 9-bulan, ia mengingatkan pada orang tuanya untuk melakukan Aqiqah. Ia juga menyampaikan menginginkan jadi Muslim. Pastinya orang tuanya yang saat itu masih tetap Kristen menolaknya. Dan baru terwujud di satu masjid lokal saat ia berusia 3-tahun.
Saat proses Aqiqah di Masjid Gongoni, waktu tersebut berjalan kegemparan. Ia lewat cara ajaib berkhotbah tentang Islam tanpa ada diajari oleh siapapun, di usia tiga th.. Menyusul peristiwa di masjid itu dan apa yang berjalan di dalamnya, kakaknya, Michael, saat itu juga jadi Muslim bersamaan dirinya.
Bapaknya, seorang Inspektur Polisi jadi murka. Ia lewat cara khusus mengambil cuti untuk memaksa ke-2 anaknya jadi Kristen kembali, bahkan siap membunuhnya dengan pistol polisinya.
Namun setelah berdiskusi, dan ia tahu kalah dalam pertempuran alasan, ia lalu merelakan anaknya jadi Muslim.
Bahkan ia sendiri berhasrat untuk belajar dan tahu Islam. Lalu, ia tidak bisa lagi menolak kebenaran dan mengatakan harus berhimpun dengan anaknya di jalan yang benar. Ia kembali pada fitrah, jadi Muslim, memeluk agama Islam bersamaan semua keluarganya. Ia mengubah nama baptisnya dari Maurice Robert Matongo jadi Mikidadi Matongo.
Demikian juga istrinya, dari Clemencial Michael Isamaki jadi Marriam ; dari Monica Leonard Jomanga jadi Mwanaisha. Semua anaknya juga telah jadi Muslim : Sara-Sarah ; Albert-Abubakar ; Mesent-Abdillahi ; Devother-Fadhila ; Boniface-Ibrahim ; Grace-Faudhia ; Samwel-Hamza ; Jane-Sharifa ; dan Michael-Yussuf dan tentunya… Ya, si Anak Ajaib itu!, Fidelis, yang lahir di Kiloleni (10/10/1986), kota Tabora, Tanzania Utara, Afrika Timur. Dikenal sebagai Sheikh Shariff sejak mulai 22 Desember 1989 setelah khotbah hebohnya di Masjid Gongoni sekalian saat itu ia jadi Muslim. Mengenai “Fidelis” menurut cerita bapaknya buknlah yaitu nama baptis, tetapi semata pemberian darinya untuk mengingat kelahirannya. Bahkan menurut perbincangan dari
beberapa sumber,Fidelis mengemukakan : “Mama usinibibaptize, naamini kwa Alla na jumbe
