Ribuan akademisi, termasuk guru besar, profesor, maupun tokoh bangsa, yang berkumpul di Universitas Tribhuwana Tunggadewi, Malang, Jawa Timur. Seorang ”Gadis ingusan” yang mampu membuat para akademisi itu bertepuk salut itu bernama Asa Firda Inayah atau bekalangan beken disebut Alfi. Ia baru lulusa dari SMA Negeri 1 Gambiran, Kabupaten Banyuwangi, Jawa Timur.
Sebelum memberikan orasi yang menggetarkan peserta Sarasehan Kebangkitan Nasional di Universitas Tribhuwana Tunggadewi, Malang, Jawa Timur, Sabtu (20/5/2017), ia lebih dulu menggemparkan jagat media sosial. Itu setelah Alfi menulis dan mengunggah artikel berjudul ”Warisan” ke Facebook, 15 Mei 2017. Tak disangka, tulisannya yang bermuatan pesan toleransi antarumat beragama itu viral.
Warganet semakin kesengsem terhadap Alfi, setelah akun miliknya ditangguhkan Facebook karena dilaporkan orang-orang yang tak menyukai pesan-pesan toleransi dalam tulisannya.
Alfi, dalam sarasehan tersebut, hanya diberi waktu 15 menit untuk memberikan orasi kebangsaan. Ketika namanya dipanggil, Alfi yang duduk sejajar bersama tokoh Akbar Tanjung, Ali Maschan Moesa, dan Bambang Budiono, segera naik ke podium.
Berikut petikan orasi Alfi yang menghebohkan tersebut:
Saya mencintai NKRI, saya bukan siapa-siapa. Saya adalah murid SMAN 1 Gambiran, Banyuwangi, yang baru bulan ini lulus. Ayah saya seorang pedagang kaki lima, saya menulis karena prihatin.
Indonesia yang sangat beragam ini dituntut memiliki toleransi yang sangat tinggi atas keragaman tersebut. Namun, realitasnya, Indonesia sangat mudah dipicu isu SARA agar tercerai-berai.
Secara akademik, saya tentu jauh lebih rendah dibandingkan Anda semua. Saya hanyalah anak yang baru lulus SMA di bulan ini, sungguh tidak ada apa-apanya dibandingkan Anda. Di tengah segala keterbatasan, saya hanya berusaha melakukan hal yang saya mampu untuk memberi kontribusi bagi negara ini.
Tapi, dengan kemampuan Anda dan segala yang Anda miliki sejauh ini, saya yakin Anda semua pasti bisa melakukan hal yang jauh lebih hebat daripada apa yang telah saya lakukan. Demi NKRI, demi negara yang di atasnya kita mencari makan tiap hari.
Saya juga senang berdiri di sini, di tengah-tengah para akademisi. Sebab, seperti yang Malala Yousafzai (aktivis muda pakistan yang pernah diterbangkan ke Inggis setelah ditembak Thaliban dan menjadi ikon perdamaian dunia), ‘dengan pistol Anda bisa membunuh teroris. Setelah Alfi mengakhiri pidatonya, ribuan peserta yang hadir berdiri dan bertepuk tangan tanda penghormatan terhadap putri pedagang cilok (penganan ringan) tersebut.
Tak hanya itu, seorang dosen perempuan segera menghampiri Alfi. Sang intelektual memegang pipi Alfi sembari mengatakan, ”Nak, kau tahu tidak, begitu banyak orang yang punya pendapat dan suara tapi lebih memilih diam. Saya adalah salah satu orang di antara mereka. Dan kamu berani, Nak. Saya tidak tahu apa yang harus saya ungkapkan padamu. Saya terharu!”

Sebelum memberikan orasi yang menggetarkan peserta Sarasehan Kebangkitan Nasional di Universitas Tribhuwana Tunggadewi, Malang, Jawa Timur, Sabtu (20/5/2017), ia lebih dulu menggemparkan jagat media sosial. Itu setelah Alfi menulis dan mengunggah artikel berjudul ”Warisan” ke Facebook, 15 Mei 2017. Tak disangka, tulisannya yang bermuatan pesan toleransi antarumat beragama itu viral.
Warganet semakin kesengsem terhadap Alfi, setelah akun miliknya ditangguhkan Facebook karena dilaporkan orang-orang yang tak menyukai pesan-pesan toleransi dalam tulisannya.
Alfi, dalam sarasehan tersebut, hanya diberi waktu 15 menit untuk memberikan orasi kebangsaan. Ketika namanya dipanggil, Alfi yang duduk sejajar bersama tokoh Akbar Tanjung, Ali Maschan Moesa, dan Bambang Budiono, segera naik ke podium.
Berikut petikan orasi Alfi yang menghebohkan tersebut:
Saya mencintai NKRI, saya bukan siapa-siapa. Saya adalah murid SMAN 1 Gambiran, Banyuwangi, yang baru bulan ini lulus. Ayah saya seorang pedagang kaki lima, saya menulis karena prihatin.
Indonesia yang sangat beragam ini dituntut memiliki toleransi yang sangat tinggi atas keragaman tersebut. Namun, realitasnya, Indonesia sangat mudah dipicu isu SARA agar tercerai-berai.
Secara akademik, saya tentu jauh lebih rendah dibandingkan Anda semua. Saya hanyalah anak yang baru lulus SMA di bulan ini, sungguh tidak ada apa-apanya dibandingkan Anda. Di tengah segala keterbatasan, saya hanya berusaha melakukan hal yang saya mampu untuk memberi kontribusi bagi negara ini.
Tapi, dengan kemampuan Anda dan segala yang Anda miliki sejauh ini, saya yakin Anda semua pasti bisa melakukan hal yang jauh lebih hebat daripada apa yang telah saya lakukan. Demi NKRI, demi negara yang di atasnya kita mencari makan tiap hari.
Saya juga senang berdiri di sini, di tengah-tengah para akademisi. Sebab, seperti yang Malala Yousafzai (aktivis muda pakistan yang pernah diterbangkan ke Inggis setelah ditembak Thaliban dan menjadi ikon perdamaian dunia), ‘dengan pistol Anda bisa membunuh teroris. Tapi dengan pendidikan yang baik Anda bisa membunuh terorisme.’ Saya muslim dan saya mencintai toleransi. Mari bersatu tolak diadu!
