Pada malam yang mulia ini, para malaikat akan lebih banyak turun ke dunia dikarenakan melimpahnya berkah pada malam tersebut, karena malaikat akan turun seiring turunnya berkah, yaitu keselamatan (yang ditebarkan) hingga terbitnya fajar, seluruh kebaikan terkandung dalam malam tersebut, tidak ada keburukan hingga terbitnya fajar.
Pada malam ini, segala urusan yang penuh hikmah dirinci, maksudnya segala kejadian selama setahun ke depan ditentukan dengan izin Allah yang Maha Kuasa dan Maha Bijaksana. Penentuan takdir pada malam tersebut adalah penentuan takdir tahunan, adapun penentuan takdir secara umum yang tercantum dalam Lauhul Mahfuzh, maka hal tersebut telah tercatat sejak 50.000 tahun sebelum langit dan bumi diciptakan sebagaimana yang tertera dalam sebuah hadits Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam.
Sepatutnya seorang muslim bersemangat dalam menelusuri suatu malam yang memiliki kedudukan seperti ini, agar mendapatkan keberuntungan dengan pahala yang terdapat pada malam tersebut, mendulang kebaikannya, memperoleh ganjarannya, dan merengkuh berkahnya. Orang yang merugi adalah mereka yang tidak mendapatkan pahala pada malam tersebut. Barang siapa yang melewatkan momen-momen kebaikan, hari-hari tersebarnya keberkahan dan karunia, sedangkan dirinya senantiasa bergelimang dalam dosa dan kesesatan serta asyik dalam kedurhakaan, karena dirinya telah dibinasakan oleh kelalaian dan penyimpangan, kesesatan telah menghalanginya (dari pintu kebaikan), maka betapa besar kerugian dan penyesalan yang menimpanya.
Seorang yang tidak bersemangat dalam mencari keuntungan pada malam yang mulia ini, kapankah dirinya akan bersemangat lagi? Seorang yang tidak bertaubat kepada Allah pada malam yang mulia ini, kapankah dia akan bertaubat? Dan seorang yang senantiasa malas dalam melakukan kebaikan di malam ini, maka kapan lagi dirinya akan beramal?
Sesungguhnya bersemangat dalam mencari malam yang penuh berkah ini, serta beribadah dan berdoa di dalamnya merupakan ciri orang pilihan dan mereka yang berbakti kepada Allah. Bahkan dalam malam tersebut mereka berdoa dengan penuh kesungguhan kepada Allah Dia memberikan ampunan dan perlindungan bagi mereka, karena segala sesuatu yang akan terjadi pada diri seseorang selama setahun ke depan ditetapkan pada malam tersebut. Di malam inilah mereka berdoa dan memohon kepada Allah, dan mereka bersungguh-sungguh (dalam berbuat kebajikan) selama setahun ke depan penuh, hanya kepada Allah semata mereka memohon pertolongan dan taufik.
Tirmidzi, Ibnu Majah dan selainnya meriwayatkan dari Ummul Mukminin ‘Aisyah radliallahu ‘anha, beliau berkata,
قلت يا رسول الله أرأيت إن علمت أي ليلة ليلة القدر ما أقول فيها ؟ قال قولي اللهم إنك عفو كريم تحب العفو فاعف عني
Aku berkata kepada Rasulullah, “Wahai Rasulullah, apabila aku mengetahui waktu malam Al Qadr, apakah yang mesti aku ucapkan pada saat itu?” Beliau menjawab, “Katakanlah, Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun, tuhibbul ‘afwa, fa’fu’anni (Yaa Allah sesungguhnya engkau Maha pemberi ampunan, suka memberi pengampunan, maka ampunilah diriku ini).” (HR. Tirmidzi nomor 3513, Ibnu Majah nomor 3850 dan dishahihkan oleh Al Albani rahimahullah dalam Shahih Ibnu Majah nomor 3105)
Doa Malam Lailatul Qodar
Imam At-Tirmidzi, Ibnu Majah dan yang lainnya telah meriwayatkan dari Ummul mu’minin Aisyah beliau berkata : aku bertanya wahai Rasulullah jika aku telah mengetahui kapan malam lailatul qodar itu, maka apa yang aku katakan pada malam tersebut? Beliau menjawab : katakanlah
اَللَّهُمَّ إنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
“ya Allah sesungguhnya Engkau Maha pemaaf, engkau senang memaafkan kesalahan maka maafkanlah aku.”
Doa yang barokah ini sangat besar maknanya dan mendalam penunjukannya, banyak manfaat dan pengaruhnya, dan doa ini sangat sesuai dengan keberadaan malam lailatul qodar. Karena sebagaimana disebutkan di atas malam lailatul qodar adalah malam dijelaskan segala urusan dengan penuh hikmah dan ditentukan taqdir amalan-amalan hamba selama setahun penuh hingga lailatul qodar berikutnya. Maka barangsiapa yang dianugerahi pada malam tersebut al ‘afiyah ( kebaikan ) dan al’afwa ( dimaafkan kesalahan) oleh Robbnya maka sungguh dia telah mendapat kemenangan dan keberuntungan serta kesuksesan dengan sebesar-besarnya. Barangsiapa yang diberikan al afiyah di dunia dan di akherat maka sungguh dia telah diberikan kebaikan dengan seluruh bagian-bagiannya. Dan tidak ada yang sebanding dengan Al ‘afiyah tersebut.
Imam Al Bukhori telah meriwayatkan dalam Adabul Mufrad, dan At Tirmidzi dalam As Sunan dari Al-Abbas bin Abdil Muthollib beliau berkata : aku berkata wahai Rasululloh, ajarkan sesuatu (doa) yang aku gunakan meminta kepada Alloh , Rasululloh menjawab : mintalah kepada Alloh al ‘afiyah, maka pada suatu hari aku berdiam diri kemudian aku datang lagi pada Rasululloh aku katakan : wahai Rasululloh ajarkan kepadaku sesuatu yang aku gunakan meminta kepada Alloh, maka beliau berkata kepadaku : “wahai Abbas, wahai pamannya rasullulloh mintalah kepada Alloh al ‘afiyah didunia dan di akherat.”
Imam Bukhori meriwayatkan dalam Adabul Mufrad, dan At Tirmidzi dalam As-Sunan dari Anas bin Malik bahwasannya beliau berkata : telah datang kepada nabi seseorang yang berkata : wahai Rasullulloh doa apa yang afdhol? Beliau menjawab: mintalah kepada Alloh al ‘afwa wal ‘afiyah ( ampunan dan kebaikan ) didunia dan akherat. Kemudian orang tersebut datang di hari besoknya sembari berkata : wahai nabiyulloh doa apa yang afdhol? Beliau menjawab : mintalah kepada Alloh al ‘afwa wal ‘afiyah ( ampunan dan kebaikan ) didunia dan akherat, maka apabila kamu di beri al ‘afiyah di dunia dan akherat berarti sungguh kamu telah mendapat kemenangan.”
Imam Bukhori meriwayatkan dalam Adabul Mufrad dari Ausath bin Ismail beliau berkata : aku telah mendengar Abu Bakar Ash Shiddiq berkata setelah meninggalnya Rasullulloh : ” Nabi pernah berdiri pada tahun pertama di tempat berdiriku ini kemudian Abu Bakar menangis lalu berkata : wajib bagi kalian untuk jujur, karena dia bersama dengan kebaikan, dan keduanya berada di surga. Dan tinggalkan dusta karena dia bersama dengan kejahatan yang keduanya di neraka. Mintalah kepada Alloh al-mu’afah (saling memberi maaf), karena tidak ada yang datang setelah al yakin yang lebih baik dari pada al-mu’afah. Janganlah kalian saling memutus hubungan, dan jangan saling membelakangi, saling hasad, saling membenci, dan jadilah kalian hamba-hamba Alloh yang bersaudara.
Untuk ini sesungguhnya termasuk kabaikan bagi seorang muslim untuk memperbanyak doa yang barokah ini disetiap waktu dan dimanapun terlebih dimalam lailatul qodar yang akan dijelaskan segala urusan dengan penuh hikmah dan ditentukan taqdir dan hendaknya seorang muslim mengetahui bahwasannya Alloh Maha mengampuni lagi Maha mulia lagi Maha pemurah yang senang memberi maaf.
“Dan dialah yang menerima Taubat dari hamba-hamba-Nya dan memaafkan kesalahan-kesalahan dan mengetahui apa yang kamu kerjakan,” (As Syura : 25)
Dan Alloh senantiasa terus dan tiada henti hentinya dikenal sebagai dzat yang suka memaafkan kesalahan-kesalahan dan disifati dengan pemberi ampunan. Setiap orang sangat membutuhkan kepada pemberian maaf-Nya dan ampunan-Nya. Janganlah seorang merasa tidak butuh dari keduanya. Sebagaimana dia senantiasa membutuhkan rahmat serta kasih sayang-Nya. Maka kita memohon kepada-Nya untuk memasukkkan kita kepada golongan yang dia maafkan dan menjadikan kita termasuk golongan yang dirahmatinya. Dan agar kita diberikan kemudahan dan kemampuan untuk mentaatinya. Semoga Alloh berikan petunjuk kita kepada jalan yang lurus. (Amin Yaa Rabbal ‘alamin Wal Hamdulillah ‘ala kulli ni’matihi.Pent). Amalan di Malam Lailatul Qodar Menurut Ajaran Rasulullah SAW
biasanya Rasulullah sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bersungguh-sungguh dalam ibadah seperti shalat, membaca (Al-Qur’an) dan berdoa dalam sepuluh malam akhir di bulan Ramadan melebihi ibadahnya di malam selain Ramadan.
Diriwayatkan oleh Bukhari dan Muslim dari Aisyah radhiallahu’anhasesungguhnya Nabi sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bersabda: “Biasanya Nabi sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam ketika memasuki sepuluh (malam terakhir) menghidupkan malamnya dan membangunkan keluarganya serta mengencangkan kainnya (semangat beribadah dan menghindari isterinya).”
Diriwayatkan oleh Bukhari dan Muslim dari Aisyah radhiallahu’anhasesungguhnya Nabi sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bersabda: “Biasanya Nabi sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam ketika memasuki sepuluh (malam terakhir) menghidupkan malamnya dan membangunkan keluarganya serta mengencangkan kainnya (semangat beribadah dan menghindari isterinya).”
Diriwayatkan pula oleh Ahmad dan Muslim: “Beliau bersungguh-sungguh (ibadah) pada sepuluh malam akhir melebihi kesungguhannya pada selain Ramadan.”
Nabi sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam menganjurkan untuk menunaikan qiyam pada Lailatul Qadar dengan penuh keimanan dan penuh pengharapan. Dari Abu Hurairah radhiallahu ‘anhu dari Nabi sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam sesungguhnya beliau bersabda: “Barangsiapa yang berdiri (menunaikan shalat) pada malam Lailatul Qadar dengan iman dan harap (pahala), maka dosa-dosanya yang telah lalu akan diampuni.” (Muttafaq ‘alaihi)
Hadits ini menunjukkan dianjurkannya menghidupkan Lailatul Qadar dengan qiyam
Perbanyak doa seperti doa yang diamalkan diantara doa yang paling utama yang diucapkan pada Lailatul Qadar adalah apa yang Nabi sallalahu ‘alaihi wa sallam ajarkan kepada Aisyah radhiallahu ‘anha. Diriwayatkan oleh Tirmizi dari Aisyahradhiallahu’anha berkata, “Aku berkata, wahai Rasulullah! Bagaimana pendapat anda kalau sekiranya saya melihat Lailatul Qadar. Apa yang saya ucapkan di dalamnya adalah doa yang telah kami share di awal paragraf tadi. adapun mengkhususkan suatu malam di bulan Ramadan sebagai Lailatul Qadar, hal ini memerlukan dalil yang menkhususkan malam tersebut, bukan malam lain. Akan tetapi pada malam ganjil di sepuluh malam terakhir lebih besar kemungkinan dibandingkan malam lainnya, dan malam dua puluh tujuh lebih besar kemungkinannya sebagai malam Lailatul Qadar. Sebagaimana hal itu ditunjukkan oleh hadits yang telah kami sebutkan Perbuatan BID’AH tidak dibolehkan, baik di bulan Ramadan maupun selain Ramadan. Bid’ah adalah amalan-amalan yang tidak pernah dilakukan oleh Rasulullah SAW dan sahabat-sahabat beliau golongan pertama. Selain sia-sia, amalan tersebut malah menimbulkan dosa besar! Terdapat riwayat shahih dari Rasulullah sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallamsesunggunya beliau bersabda: “Barangsiapa membuat perkara baru dalam urusan kami (agama) ini yang tidak ada (tuntunan) darinya, maka ia tertolak.”
Apa yang dilakukan pada sebagian malam Ramadan dengan perayaan-perayaan, kami tidak mengetahui asalnya. Dan sebaik-baik petunjuk adalah petunjuk Nabi Muhammad sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam. Dan seburuk-buruk urusan adalah yang baru (dalam agama).
