”Ya, kami cukup kecewa dengan pemerintah yang tega mencabut subsidi listrik. Tentunya, dengan dikurangi subsidi listrik ini, otomatis biaya yang kami keluarkan untuk membayar listrik menjadi membengkak. Tempat rental playstation saya ini menggunakan listrik yang 900 VA. Sebelum kenaikan, token listrik yang Rp 50.000 tahan hingga 6 sampai 7 hari. Sekarang setelah subsidi dikurangi, token Rp 50.000 itu hanya tahan 3 hari. Berarti Rp 100.000 selama satu mingggu. Pemakaian sebesar itu hanya untuk menghidupi lima unit perangkat Playstation,” ujar Mega Suci Ermaputri, 26, pemilik rental playstation di Jalan Bhayangkara, Kelurahan Lubukbuaya, Kecamatan Koto Tangah, Padang, Sumbar, kepada Padang Ekspres (Jawa Pos Group), kemarin (11/6).

”Saya mau bagaimana lagi. Kebijakan tersebut pemerintah yang memutuskan. Saya hanya menerima saja. Saya terpaksa tidak menaikkan harga fotokopi, nanti konsumen kabur. Saya berharap, pemerintah mempertimbangkan kembali pengurangan subsidi listrik ini,” ujarnya.
Tidak hanya para pelaku usaha yang mengeluh dengan pengurangan subsidi listrik ini, sejumlah pelanggan rumah tangga juga merasakan hal yang sama.
”Seingat saya, semenjak awal tahun ini, sudah dua kali listrik mengalami kenaikan. Kalau tahun lalu, saya membayar listrik hanya Rp 150.000 sebulan. Sekarang ini, setelah mengalami kenaikan, saya harus membayar Rp 300.000 sebulan. Kenaikannya hingga seratus persen,” ujar Azwirman, 60, warga RT 02/ RW 13, Kelurahan Batipuhpanjang, Kecamatan Koto Tangah.
Sementara itu, sejumlah anggota DPRD Padang mengimbau pemerintah untuk mempertimbangkan kembali pencabutan subsidi listrik ini.
”Sekarang ini, kami mendengar banyak warga yang menjerit terhadap pengurangan subsidi listrik ini. Kami menyarankan, pemerintah kota (pemko) dapat memanggil PLN untuk membicarakan masalah ini. Dan sebaiknya kebijakan ini dapat ditinjau ulang,” ujar Jumadi, anggota DPRD Padang, Fraksi Golkar.
Hal yang sama dikemukakan Iswandi, anggota DPRD Padang dari Fraksi PKB. ”Pemko Padang bersama pemerintah daerah lainnya, juga harus kompak untuk menyuarakan keluhan warga soal listrik ini. Karena dengan pengurangan subsidi listrik ini, akan menggangu perekonomian warga. Kami sangat prihatin dengan hal tersebut,” ucapnya.
Terpisah, Sekretaris Kota Padang, Asnel, akan berusaha semaksimal mungkin agar pemerintah pusat mempertimbangkan kembali kebijakan pengurangan subsidi listrik tersebut.
”Insyaallah, dalam pertemuan dengan PLN dan pihak-pihak terkait lainnya, kami akan menyampaikan segala keluh kesah terkait listrik yang dirasakan warga saat ini. Biasanya, seperti pertemuan-pertemuan yang sudah-sudah kami selalu menyampaikan segala masalah yang dialami warga. Maka dari itu, kami juga mengimbau agar masyarakat untuk bersabar karena semuanya juga butuh proses. Tak lupa kami juga mengajak masyarakat untuk hemat dalam menggunakan listrik,” jelasnya.
