1. Makanan manis yang mengandung banyak gula
Bukan rahasia lagi jika asupan gula yang berlebihan dapat memengaruhi kesehatan anak.
Selain menyebabkan obesitas, gula yang terdapat dalam permen atau makanan pencuci mulut dapat merusak otak anak.
Dalam sebuah penelitian yang dilakukan oleh UCLA ditemukan bahwa kelebihan fruktosa dapat memengaruhi kemampuan insulin untuk menggunakan gula dalam memproses pikiran dan perasaan.

2. Fast food alias makanan cepat saji
Makanan cepat saji alias junk food tidak memiliki nilai gizi yang dibutuhkan tubuh.
Beberapa makanan cepat saji mengandung pengawet dan garam berlebih yang dapat berakibat fatal pada tubuh, misalnya obesitas, diabetes, tekanan darah tinggi, penyakit ginjal, hingga serangan jantung.
Anak-anak sedang dalam masa pertumbuhan dan membutuhkan nutrisi yang cukup untuk mendukung perkembangannya.
