Singkat kata, postingan itu berisikan sebuah cerita dan sebuah foto yang menggambarak seorang anak sedang membantu orangtuanya di dapur.

Anakku ranking ke-23 ...
Di kelasnya ada 25 orang murid,setiap kenaikan kelas,anak perempuanku selalu mendapat ranking ke-23. Lambat laun ia dijuluki dengan panggilan nomor ini. Sebagai orangtua,kami merasa panggilan ini kurang enak didengar,namun anehnya anak kami tidak merasa keberatan dengan panggilan ini.
Pada sebuah acara keluarga besar,kami berkumpul bersama di sebuah restoran. Topik pembicaraan semua orang adalah tentang jagoan mereka masing-masing. "Saat aku dewasa,cita-citaku yang pertama adalah menjadi seorang guru TK,memandu anak-anak menyanyi,menari lalu bermain-main".
Demi menunjukkan kesopanan,semua orang tetap memberikan pujian,kemudian menanyakan apa cita-citanya yang kedua.
Dia pun menjawab ,,,
"Saya ingin menjadi seorang ibu,mengenakan kain celemek bergambar Doraemon dan memasak di dapur,kemudian membacakan cerita untuk anak-anakku dan membawa mereka ke teras rumah untuk melihat bintang."

Semua sanak keluarga saling pandang tanpa tahu harus berkata apa. Nampak raut muka isteriku pun terlihat canggung sekali.
Sepulangnya kami kembali ke rumah,isteriku mengeluhkan ke padaku,apakah aku akan membiarkan anak perempuan kami kelak hanya

Anak kami sangat penurut,dia tidak lagi membaca komik,tidak lagi membuat origami,tidak lagi banyak
bermain. Bagai seekor burung kecil yang kelelahan,dia ikut les belajar sambung menyambung,buku pelajaran dan buku latihan dikerjakan terus tanpa henti. Sampai akhirnya tubuh kecilnya tidak bisa bertahan
lagi terserang flu berat dan radang paru-paru. Akan tetapi hasil ujian semesternya membuat kami tidak
tahu mau tertawa atau menangis, tetap saja rangking 23.

Pada suatu minggu,teman-teman sekantor mengajak pergi rekreasi bersama. Semua orang membawa serta keluarga mereka. Sepanjang perjalanan penuh dengan tawa,ada anak yang bernyanyi,ada juga yang memperagakan kebolehannya.
Anak kami tidak punya keahlian khusus,hanya terus bertepuk tangan dengan sangat gembira. Dia seringkali lari ke belakang untuk mengawasi bahan makanan,merapikan kembali kotak makanan yang terlihat sedikit miring,mengetatkan tutup botol yang longgar atau mengelap wadah sayuran yang meluap ke luar. Dia sibuk sekali bagaikan seorang pengurus rumah tangga cilik.
Anak kami tidak punya keahlian khusus,hanya terus bertepuk tangan dengan sangat gembira. Dia seringkali lari ke belakang untuk mengawasi bahan makanan,merapikan kembali kotak makanan yang terlihat sedikit miring,mengetatkan tutup botol yang longgar atau mengelap wadah sayuran yang meluap ke luar. Dia sibuk sekali bagaikan seorang pengurus rumah tangga cilik.
Ketika makan,ada satu kejadian tak terduga. Dua orang anak lelaki teman kami,satunya si jenius matematika,satunya lagi ahli bahasa Inggris berebut sebuah kue. Tiada seorang pun yang mau melepaskannya,juga tidak mau saling membaginya. Para orang tua membujuk mereka,namun tak berhasil. Terakhir anak kamilah yang berhasil melerainya dengan merayu mereka untuk berdamai.
Ketika pulang,jalanan macet. Anak-anak mulai terlihat gelisah. Anakku membuat guyonan dan terus membuat orang-orang semobil tertawa tanpa henti. Tangannya juga tidak pernah berhenti,dia mengguntingkan berbagai bentuk binatang kecil dari kotak bekas tempat makanan. Sampai ketika turun dari mobil bus,setiap orang
mendapatkan guntingan kertas berbentuk hewan masing-masing,dan mereka terlihat begitu gembira.

Selepas ujian semester,aku menerima telpon dari wali kelas anakku. Pertama-tama mendapatkan kabar kalau rangking sekolah anakku tetap 23. Namun dia mengatakan ada satu hal aneh yang terjadi. Hal yang pertama kali ditemukannya selama lebih dari 30 tahun mengajar. Dalam ujian bahasa ada sebuah soal tambahan. Dalam soal itu tertera: SIAPA TEMAN SEKELAS YANG PALING KAMU KAGUMI DAN APA ALASANNYA?
Dan jawaban dari semua teman sekelasnya sama,tak ada satu pun yang beda. Mereka serentak menuliskan nama anakku.

Mereka bilang karena anakku sangat senang membantu orang,selalu memberi semangat,selalu
menghibur,selalu enak diajak berteman,dan banyak lagi.

Si wali kelas memberi pujian ,,,
"Anak bapak ini kalau bertingkah laku terhadap orang,benar-benar nomor satu".

Tak berselang lama aku mencandai anakku dan berkata padanya ,,,
"Suatu saat kamu akan jadi pahlawan".
"Suatu saat kamu akan jadi pahlawan".
Anakku yang sedang merajut selendang leher tiba-tiba menjawab ,,,
"Bu guru pernah mengatakan sebuah pepatah,ketika pahlawan lewat,harus ada orang yang bertepuk tangan di tepi jalan."

Dia lalu melanjutkan ,,,
"Ayah... Aku tidak mau jadi pahlawan. Aku mau jadi orang yang bertepuk tangan di tepi jalan saja."

Aku terkejut mendengarnya. Dalam hatiku pun terasa hangat seketika. Seketika hatiku tergugah oleh anak perempuanku. Di dunia ini banyak orang yang bercita-cita ingin
menjadi seorang pahlawan,jadi orang-orang hebat,atau orang terkenal. Namun anakku memilih untuk menjadi orang yang tidak 'terlihat'. Seperti akar sebuah tanaman,tidak terlihat,tapi dialah yang mengokohkan,dialah yang memberi makan dan dialah yang memelihara kehidupan yang lain.
