Sebagian cendekiawan memperkirakan orang-orang Khurasan ini adalah orang-orang dari daratan cina, Wallahu A’lam) ”. – HR. HR. Dari Anas Radhiyallahu Anhu berkata, “Rasulullah bersabda, “Dajjal keluar dari kampung Yahudiah Ashfahan, bersama 1000 orang Yahudi”. – HR.Ahmad, dan Ibn Hajar, Shahih, Fath Al-Bari, 13/328.
Hadist Sahabat yang dikutip dari shahih Muslim, dari An-Nuwwas bin Sam’an, “Sesungguhnya dia (Dajjal) keluar di tempat (kullah) antara Syria dan Irak, dan berbuat kerusakan dikanan kiri. Wahai hamba Allah, kokohkanlah diri kalian”. – Kullah adalah suatu tempat diantara dua negara sebagaimana dikatakan An-Nawawi.
Dari Abu Bakar Ash-Shiddiq Radhiyallahu Anhu berkata, “Rasulullah bersabda, “Dajjal keluar dari wilayah Timur, yang disebut dengan Khurasan”. – HR. At-Tirmidzi, Al-Hakim dan Al-Albani, Shahih, Shahih Al-Jami, 3404.
HR.Riwayat Imam Ahmad, dari ‘Amr bin Huraib, Dari Abu Bakar Ash-Shiddiq Radhiyallahu Anhu berkata, “Rasulullah bersabda, “Dajjal keluar dari wilayah Timur, yang disebut dengan Khurasan. Dia akan diikuti bangsa-bangsa berwajah bagikan perisai yang ditempa – (Maksudnya mukanya itu bentuknya penyek, hidungnya pesek. Sebagian cendekiawan memperkirakan orang-orang Khurasan ini adalah orang-orang dari daratan cina, Wallahu A’lam) ”. – HR. Imam Ahmad, dalam musnadnya no.12, Ibnu Majah dalam Sunan Ibn Majah dan Sunan Abu Daud, dari An-Nawwas bin Sam’an.
Menurut Ibnu Katsir awal kemunculannya itu dari Ashfahan dari suatu kampung yang bernama Al-Yahudiyyah. Akan tetapi umat Islam baru mengetahui kemunculannya ketika ia sampai ke suatu tempat antara Irak dan Syria.
[Hal ini sungguh dapat diterima akal, mengingat bahwa pengikut-pengikut Dajjal adalah orang-orang Yahudi, mereka bersegera mengimani Dajjal begitu Dajjal sampai kenegeri mereka dan menyeru mereka. Dan ketika umat Islam memeranginya, ia sudah mempunyai pasukan, yaitu orang-orang Yahudi].
