"Sesungguhnya Allah dan malaikat-malaikat-Nya bersalawat untuk Nabi. Hai orang-orang yang beriman, bersalawatlah kamu untuk Nabi dan ucapkanlah salam penghormatan kepadanya." (QS. al-Azhab: 56)

Tahun 2015 ini kita akan menemukan 2x maulid Nabi, yakni tanggal 3 Januari 2015 (12 Rabiulawal 1436 H) dan 24 Desember 2015 (12 Rabiulawal 1437 H), hal yang sangat jarang terjadi tentunya.

Namun, Sobat  tahukah beberapa peristiwa yang terjadi menjelang kelahiran Nabi Muhammad Shalallaahu alaihi wassalam? Berikut ini beberapa di antaranya:

1. Pasukan Gajah dan Burung Ababil

 Raja Abraha merasa kesal karena banyaknya orang yang berbondong-bondong mengunjungi kakbah, sehingga dia membangun gereja yang megah untuk menyaingi kakbah. Namun geraja tersebut diabaikan, malah ada yang melemparinya dengan kotoran manusia. Raja Abraha pun merasa marah hingga memutuskan untuk menghancurkan kakbah. Dalam perjalanan, pasukan gajah Raja Abraha yang dipimpin oleh Panglima Abu Rughal diserang oleh burung-burung ababil yang membawa batu-batu panas dan berpijar.

2. Api Majusi Padam

 Sebelum kelahiran Nabi Muhammad saw, masyarakat majusi menyembah api dan menganggap api itu sebagai Tuhan. Api itu tidak pernah padam selama beratus-ratus tahun. Namun saat Nabi Muhammad saw. lahir api itu mati seketika. Para pengikut Majusi berusaha menyalakan apinya, tapi tetap tidak menyala.

3. Jin Tidak Bisa Mencuri Berita

 Sebelum kelahiran Nabi Muhammad saw. para jin leluasa mencuri berita gaib dari langit untuk disampaikan kepada para tukang sihir. Setelah kelahiran Nabi Muhammad saw. jin yang berusaha mencuri dengar berita gaib dari langit akan menjumpai panah api yang akan membunuh mereka.

Ketika mereka dilarang naik ke langit, maka mereka berkumpul pada Iblis alaihilla'nah (raja setan), mereka berkata;
"Dahulu kami bisa naik ke langit, tetapi hari ini kami telah di larang untuk naik"
Iblis menjawab;
"Menyebarlah kalian di muka bumi, dari barat sampai timur, dan perhatikan dengan seksama apa yang sebenarnya telah terjadi!"

Mereka lalu menyebar. Setelah mengeliling bumi dari timur ke barat, sampailah mereka ke kota Mekah. Disana tampak oleh mereka Nabi kita sedang dikelilingi para malaikat, dan memancar cahaya dari dirinya hingga mencuat ke langit, sedangkan para malaikat-malaikat itu saling memberi ucapan selamat satu dengan yang lain.

Kemudian setan-setan itu kembali menghadap Iblis, sambil menceritakan semua apa yang telah mereka saksikan itu.
Maka Iblis pun berteriak dengan suara yang sangat keras;
"Aaaaah, telah keluar “ayatul 'alam” dan rahmat bagi bani Adam, karena itulah kalian telah dicegah untuk naik ke langit, tempat pandangannya dan pandangan umatnya!!"

4. Bintang Besar Bercahaya

 Para ahli kitab (kaum Yahudi dan Nasrani) melihat bintang besar dan bercahaya seperti berlensa tepat di hari kelahiran Muhammad saw., sebelumnya bintang itu tidak pernah terlihat. Di antara mereka ada yang berseru, "Nabi penutup zaman sudah lahir".

Ka'bul Akhbar ra berkata; "Saya telah melihat di dalam Taurat bahwa Allah Ta'ala telah mengabarkan kepada Kaum Musa tentang saat keluarnya Muhammad saw;
“Sesungguhnya bintang tetap yang telah kamu ketahui itu, bila ia bergerak dari tempatnya menandakan bahwa Rasulullah saw telah keluar”

Ketika Rasulullah saw lahir, bintang itu pun bergerak dan pindah dari dari tempat asalnya. Maka orang-orang Yahudi itu semuanya mengetahui bahwa Rasul yang di beritakan Allah itu telah lahir ke dunia, namun mereka merahasiakan di sebabkan kedengkian mereka juga.

5. Salam Burung-Burung

 Saat kelahiran Nabi Muhammad saw., burung-burung indah berterbangan diatas langit mekkah dan berkicau seolah memberi salam sejahtera kepada nabi akhir zaman.

6. Pohon Kurma Kering Kembali Berbuah

 Dalam Injil (kitab suci Nabi Isa a.s.) digambarkan tentang tanda-tanda kelahiran Nabi Muhammad saw.

“Bahwasanya apabila pohon kurma kering mengeluarkan daun-daunan, maka itu menandakan keluarnya Rasulullah ke dunia”

Ketika Rasulullah saw lahir, pohon kurma yang kering dan layu menjadi segar, berdaun dan berbuah. Melihat hal itu, orang-orang Nasrani itu pun mengetahui bahwa Rasul yang di janjikan Allah di dalam kitab Injil itu telah lahir ke dunia. Tetapi hal itu mereka rahasiakan, di sebabkan kedengkian mereka juga.

 Hal itu benar terjadi, namun orang-orang Yahudi menyembunyikannya karena kedengkian mereka kepada Nabi Muhammad saw. yang bukan berasal dari Bani Israil.

7. Mata Air Kering Memancar Kembali

 Di kitab Zabur (kitab suci Nabi Daud a.s.) dikabarkan juga tentang kelahiran Nabi Muhammad saw. "Ketika mata air yang sudah kalian kenal kering dan tiba-tiba memancarkan air dengan derasnya maka pada saat itulah Nabi Muhammad saw. telah lahir ke dunia." Karena kedengkian orang-orang Yahudi juga menyembunyikan tanda-tanda yang mereka ketahui.

8. Berhala Bersujud

 Diriwayatkan bahwa sesungguhnya Abdul Muthalib berkata, "Sewaktu ku berada di dekat kakbah, patung berhala yang ada di dalam kakbah tiba-tiba jatuh tersungkur dari tempatnya dalam bentuk bersujud kepada Allah Ta'ala. Aku juga mendengar suara dari dinding kakbah, 'Nabi terpilih telah lahir yang akan menghancurkan orang-orang kafir, dan membersihkan aku dari beberapa patung berhala, serta memerintahkan untuk menyembah kepada Dzat Yang Merajai Alam ini."

9. Suara dari Kakbah

 Ada suara lain dari kakbah saat Rasulullah saw. lahir. Antara lain berbunyi "Katakanlah telah datang kebenaran (Islam) dan tidak akan memulai kebatilan, juga tidak akan mengembalikan kekufuran."

 10. Aminah Tidak Merasa Letih

Selama mengandung Muhammad saw., Aminah sang ibunda tidak merasa letih akibat kandungannya. Padahal setiap wanita yang hamil selalu merasa letih karena kandungannya.

Imam Ibnu Katsir meriwayatkan dalam kitabnya, Qishashul Anbiyya, bahwa ketika Aminah mengandung Rasulullah SAW, sama sekali ia tidak merasa kesulitan maupun kepayahan sebagaimana wanita umumnya yang mengandung.

Ia juga menyatakan bahwa selama mengandung Rasulullah SAW, dalam mimpinya ia senantiasa didatangi para Nabi-nabi terdahulu, dari sejak bulan pertama, yaitu bulan Rajab hingga kelahirannya di bulan Rabi’ul Awwal.

Bulan ke-1 didatangi oleh Nabi Adam (as) yang berkata kepadanya bahwa anak yang dikandungnya itu akan menjadi pemimpin agama yang besar.
Bulan ke-2 didatangi Nabi Idris (as) yang berkata kepadanya bahwa anak yang dikandungnya itu akan mendapat derajat paling tinggi di sisi Allah.
Bulan ke-3 didatangi Nabi Nuh (as) yang berkata kepadanya bahwa anak yang dikandungnya itu akan memperoleh kemenangan dunia dan akhirat.
Bulan ke-4 didatangi Nabi Ibrahim (as) yang berkata kepadanya bahwa anak yang dikandungnya itu akan memperoleh pangkat dan derajat yang besar di sisi Allah.
Bulan ke-5 didatangi Nabi Ismail (as) yang berkata kepadanya bahwa anak yang dikandungnya itu akan memiliki kehebatan dan mu’jizat yang besar.
Bulan ke-6 didatangi Nabi Musa (as) yang berkata kepadanya bahwa anak yang dikandungnya itu akan memperoleh derajat yang besar di sisi Allah.
Bulan ke-7 didatangi Nabi Daud (as) yang berkata kepadanya bahwa anak yang dikandungnya itu akan memiliki Syafaat dan Telaga Kautsar.
Bulan ke-8 didatangi Nabi Sulaiman (as) yang berkata kepadanya bahwa anak yang dikandungnya itu akan menjadi penutup para Nabi dan Rasul.
Bulan ke-9 didatangi Nabi Isa (as) yang berkata kepadanya bahwa anak yang dikandungnya itu akan membawa Al-Qur’an yang diridhai.

Semua Nabi-nabi yang hadir di mimpi Aminah itu sama-sama berpesan kepadanya bahwa jika telah lahir, namai anak itu dengan nama Muhammad yang artinya Terpuji, karena anak itu akan menjadi makhluk yang paling terpuji di dunia dan akhirat.

Firasat mengenai penamaan Muhammad itu pun terbersit di hati mertuanya, Abdul Muthalib, sehingga ketika Rasulullah SAW lahir, Abdul Muthalib memberinya nama Muhammad. Ketika masyarakat Mekkah bertanya mengapa ia dinamai Muhammad, bukan nama para leluhur-leluhurnya, maka Abdul Muthalib menjawab: “Aku berharap ia akan menjadi orang yang terpuji di dunia dan akhirat.”

 11. Tamu agung penghuni Surga

 Aminah merasakan tanda-tanda akan melahirkan secara tiba-tiba pada malam hari. Pada saat itu mertuanya Abdul Muthalib sedang pergi ke Masjidilharam. Sementara, Abdullah suaminya, sudah meninggal dunia. Kemudian, datang banyak wanita cantik. Ada 2 wanita yang jadi perhatian Aminah, mereka memberi salam dan menyebut dirinya Asiya (istri Raja Fir'aun) dan Maryam (ibu Nabi Isa a.s.).

12. Aminah Tidak Merasa Sakit

 Aminah tidak merasa sakit layaknya wanita yang melahirkan. Padahal saat itu belum ada obat bius sehingga melahirkan benar-benar secara alami.

Begitulah, kisah-kisah istimewa dan ajaib yang melingkupi peristiwa menjelang sampai kelahiran Muhammad saw. Sungguh semua itu adalah bukti bahwa Rasulullah saw. adalah manusia pilihan, utusan yang jadi penghulu para nabi dan sebaik-baik manusia.
