Ketua Umum Perhimpunan Pakar Gizi dan Pangan (Pergizi Pangan) Prof. DR. Ir. Hardinsyah, MS, menjelaskan pentingnya sarapan sehat sebelum jam 9, khususnya pada anak.

Kata dia, gizi yang diperlukan setiap orang berbeda-beda tergantung pada usia, jenis kelamin, ukuran tubuh dan aktifitasnya.

"Pemenuhan didapatkan dari mana saja seperti halnya yang mengandung karbohidrat, protein, lemak, vitamin, dan mineral yang diperlukan oleh tubuh kita akan membantu memenuhi kebutuhan gizi dan memberikan energi untuk semangat belajar dan beraktifitas sepanjang hari," katanya.

Mengingat pentingnya hal itu, Energen pun terus menggalakkan kampanye Sarapan Sehat Sebelum Jam 9. Kali ini, dalam rangka memperingati Hari Anak Nasional 2016, mereka pun melakukan kegiatan itu di Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII).

Hadir dalam acara itu 1000 anak TK dan SD. Kegiatan ini diisi dengan sarapan sehat bersama, pawai jalan sehat anak, berbagai lomba keterampilan mewarnai, tari, dan edukasi ajakan untuk terus membiasakan sarapan sehat sebelum jam 9. Acara ini bekerjasama dengan Perhimpunan Pakar Gizi dan Pangan (PERGIZI PANGAN) Indonesia dan Ikatan Dokter Anak Indonesia (IDAI).

Sarapan sehat merupakan hal yang sangat penting bagi tumbuh kembang anak. Pada saat bangun pagi, gula darah mengalami penurunan dan membuat anak menjadi lemas serta tidak bersemangat melakukan aktivitas. Namun, kebiasaan sarapan sehat ini belum menjadi perhatian utama bagi orang tua di karenakan keterbatasan waktu dan kurangnya pengetahuan mengenai kriteria sarapan sehat yang ideal dan kapan sebaiknya melakukan sarapan.

"Kebutuhan gizi tersebut harus dipenuhi sedikitnya seperempat dari kebutuhan harian tubuh pada saat sarapan, dengan kata lain porsi sarapan ideal adalah seperempat atau 25 persen dari kebutuhan asupan makanan sehari. Tidak hanya dilihat dari gizinya, tetapi sarapan sehat di waktu yang tepat juga penting untuk diperhatikan. Idealnya sarapan sehat dilakukan sebelum jam 9 pagi. Tidak hanya bertujuan untuk mencegah lapar tetapi juga untuk pemenuhan gizi seimbang saat sarapan dibutuhkan anak untuk belajar, bermain, berkreasi dan berolahraga. Maka dari itu, sarapan sehat yang baik dilakukan pagi hari sebelum pukul 9," ujar Hardinsyah.

"Sarapan sehat harus dibiasakan sejak dini untuk menjaga anak tetap bertenaga dan semangat belajar di pagi hari. Selain itu juga untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan otak anak. Dalam mengkonsumsi sarapan sehat ada kriteria sarapan ideal. Sarapan ideal harus memenuhi seluruh kebutuhan gizi makro yaitu karbohidrat, protein dan lemak dan air, serta gizi mikro seperti vitamin dan mineral yang mencukupi sekitar seperempat kebutuhan gizi harian anak agar dapat membantu mewujudkan anak sehat berprestasi," imbaunya.

Dalam kesempatan yang sama Dr. Eva Devita Harmoniati, Sp.A dari Ikatan Dokter Anak Indonesia (IDAI) mengatakan, banyak masyarakat yang masih menganggap sarapan merupakan hal yang tidak penting, padahal sarapan merupakan hal yang sangat penting. Apalagi untuk anakanak yang masih dalam tahap pertumbuhan.

"Selain itu, pola makan yaitu makanan sehat dan mengandung zat gizi yang dikonsumsi secara teratur guna untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tubuh yang tepat pemberiannya dapat mempengaruhi dan melancarkan pertumbuhan sekaligus perkembangan anak."

"Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi pertumbungan dan perkembangan anak antara lain yaitu nutrisi, kasih sayang, dan stimulasi. Nutrisi yang tepat dan lengkap menjadi dasar bagi tumbuh kembang yang optimal selain itu Keterlibatan maksimal orang tua dalam pengasuhan terbukti dapat membantu anak tumbuh dan berkembang dengan lebih baik serta stimulasi dari lingkungan sekitarnya seperti interaksi langsung dengan anak lain maupun penyediaan alat main ikut mempengaruhi proses tumbuh kembang pada anak."

"Gizi merupakan salah satu poin penting dalam tumbuh kembang anak. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan energi dan zat gizi pada anak usia pertumbuhan maka 5 kali waktu makan yaitu sarapan, makan siang, makan malam dan 2 kali makan selingan harus dipenuhi, jelas dr. Eva lebih lanjut.
