Dari keterangan tersebut sejatinya bagi seorang muslim, akan ada balasan yang membahagiakan ketika mengalami suatu musibah dan bersabar atasnya. Kesabaran seorang ibu yang telah keguguran pun telah Rasul janjikan akan ditarik oleh bayinya ke dalam surga.

Keguguran merupakan sebuah kejadian yang sangat menyakitkan sekaligus menyedihkan, terutama untuk mereka yang sedang menanti-nanti datangnya seorang bayi yang akan menceriakan sebuah rumah tangga.

Namun takdir Allah memang tidak ada yang tahu dan dengan bersabar, maka Allah akan melimpahkan rahmatNya untuk suami istri tersebut. Ingatlah bahwa ketika seorang ibu mendapati dirinya keguguran dan bersabar atas kejadian tersebut, maka Allah tidak akan menyia-nyiakan kesabarannya dengan menghadiahi surga yang seluas bumi dan langit.

Lalu bagaimana dengan mereka yang menggugurkan kandungannya secara sengaja?
Jawaban untuk pertanyaan tersebut bisa dilihat dalam hadist berikut: “Dari Abu Hurairah, ia berkata bahwa Rasulullah menetapkan hukuman dalam membunuh janin dengan diyat, yaitu memerdekakan seorang hamba sahaya baik laki-laki atau perempuan. Lalu orang yang menerima hukuman tersebut berkata, “Apakah kami harus membayar diyat untuk sosok manusia yang belum dapat makan dan minum, tidak berteriak dan tidak menangis dan hal semacam itu sia-sia?” Rasulullah kemudian bersabda, “Sesungguhnya orang ini berbicara dengan ucapan penyair, ia dikenakan memerdekakan seorang budak, laki-laki ataupun perempuan.”(HR Bukhari dan Muslim)

Banyak sekali kini pemberitaan dimana wanita yang masih belia tega menggugurkan kandungannya secara sengaja hanya karena belum menikah. Sikap yang demikian merupakan pengguguran bayi tanpa alasan yang tidak dibenarkan oleh agama dan seperti yang telah Rasul katakan, ia harus membayar diyat berupa memerdekakan budak.

Selain membayar diyat, kehamilan di luar pernikahan adalah sebuah dosa besar yang diawali oleh perzinahan yang semakin merebak. Adapun dengan kisah kelahiran Nabi Isa, maka hal tersebut merupakan tanda kekuasaan Allah. Maryam tidak pernah disentuh sedikit pun oleh laki-laki, apalagi melakukan hubungan layaknya suami istri. Semua itu adalah semata-mata bukti bahwa Allah Maha Kuasa atas apapun.

Jika kini ada seorang wanita yang hamil tanpa diketahui siapa ayahnya, itu tidak sama dengan kisah Nabi Isa. Wanita-wanita tersebut sebenarnya telah melakukan zina dan si laki-laki tak mau bertanggung jawab dengan apa yang telah diperbuatnya.
