Manusia pun tidak pernah lepas dari keinginan lewat doa. Ketahuila Allah Ta’ala melaknat orang yang enggan berdoa kepada-Nya. Orang yang demikian oleh Allah ‘Azza Wa Jalla disebut sebagai hamba yang sombong dan diancam dengan neraka Jahannam. Allah Ta’ala berfirman:
“Berdoalah kepadaKu, Aku akan kabulkan doa kalian. Sungguh orang-orang yang menyombongkan diri karena enggan beribadah kepada-Ku, akan dimasukkan ke dalam neraka Jahannam dalam keadaan hina dina” (QS. Ghafir: 60)
Berbicara mengenai waktu berdoa, terdapat tiga waktu terkabulnya doa di bulan Ramadhan. Raihlah keutamaan tersebut dengan terus memperbanyak doa. Lalu kapankah datangnya tiga waktu tersebut?

Al-Baqarah: 186).
Ibnu Katsir rahimahullah menerangkan bahwa masalah ini disebutkan di sela-sela penyebutan hukum puasa. Ini menunjukkan mengenai anjuran memperbanyak do’a ketika bulan itu sempurna, bahkan diperintahkan memperbanyak do’a tersebut di setiap kali berbuka puasa. (Tafsir Al-Qur’an Al-‘Azhim, 2: 66).
Pernyataan yang dikatakan oleh Ibnu Katsir menunjukkan bahwa bulan Ramadhan adalah salah waktu terkabulnya do’a. Namun do’a itu mudah dikabulkan jika seseorang punya keimanan yang benar.
Ibnu Taimiyah berkata:
“Terkabulnya do’a itu dikarenakan benarnya i’tiqod, kesempurnaan ketaatan karena di akhir ayat disebutkan, ‘dan hendaklah mereka beriman kepada-Ku, agar mereka selalu berada dalam kebenaran,” (Majmu; (Majmu’ah Al Fatawa, 14: 33-34).
Perihal Ramadhan adalah bulan do’a dikuatkan lagi dengan hadits dari Jabir bin ‘Abdillah radhiyallahu ‘anhu, Rasulullah SAW bersabda,
”Sesungguhnya Allah membebaskan beberapa orang dari api neraka pada setiap hari di bulan Ramadhan, dan setiap muslim apabila dia memanjatkan do’a, akan dikabulkan,” (HR. Al Bazaar. Al Haitsami dalam Majma’ Az-Zawaid, 10: 14 mengatakan bahwa perowinya tsiqoh -terpercaya-. Lihat Jami’ul Ahadits, 9: 224)
Inilah tiga waktu utama terkabulnya do’a di bulan Ramadan:
Ibnu Katsir rahimahullah menerangkan bahwa masalah ini disebutkan di sela-sela penyebutan hukum puasa. Ini menunjukkan mengenai anjuran memperbanyak do’a ketika bulan itu sempurna, bahkan diperintahkan memperbanyak do’a tersebut di setiap kali berbuka puasa. (Tafsir Al-Qur’an Al-‘Azhim, 2: 66).
Pernyataan yang dikatakan oleh Ibnu Katsir menunjukkan bahwa bulan Ramadhan adalah salah waktu terkabulnya do’a. Namun do’a itu mudah dikabulkan jika seseorang punya keimanan yang benar.
Ibnu Taimiyah berkata:

Inilah tiga waktu utama terkabulnya do’a di bulan Ramadan:
1. Waktu sahur
Dari Abu Hurairah radhiyallahu ‘anhu, Nabi shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bersabda:
“Rabb kita tabaraka wa ta’ala turun ke langit dunia ketika tersisa sepertiga malam terakhir. Lantas Allah berfirman, “Siapa saja yang berdo’a kepada-Ku, maka akan Aku kabulkan. Siapa yang meminta kepada-Ku, maka Aku beri. Siapa yang meminta ampunan kepada-Ku, maka akan Aku ampuni,” (HR. Bukhari, no. 1145 dan Muslim, no. 758). Ibnu Hajar juga menjelaskan hadits di atas dengan berkata, “Do’a dan istighfar di waktu sahur mudah dikabulkan.” (Fath Al-Bari, 3: 32).
2. Saat berpuasa
Dari Abu Hurairah radhiyallahu ‘anhu, Nabi shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bersabda,
“Tiga orang yang do’anya tidak tertolak: orang yang berpuasa sampai ia berbuka, pemimpin yang adil, dan do’a orang yang dizalimi,” (HR. Ahmad 2: 305. Syaikh Syu’aib Al Arnauth mengatakan bahwa hadits ini shahih dengan berbagai jalan dan penguatnya).
Imam Nawawi rahimahullah berkata, “Disunnahkan orang yang berpuasa untuk memperbanyak do’a demi urusan akhirat dan dunianya, juga ia boleh berdo’a untuk hajat yang ia inginkan, begitu pula jangan lupakan do’a kebaikan untuk kaum muslimin secara umum,” (Al-Majmu’, 6: 273).
3. Ketika berbuka puasa
Nabi shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bersabda,
“Ada tiga orang yang do’anya tidak ditolak : (1) Pemimpin yang adil, (2) Orang yang berpuasa ketika dia berbuka, (3) Do’a orang yang terzalimi,” (HR. Tirmidzi no. 2526, 3598 dan Ibnu Majah no. 1752. Al-Hafizh Abu Thahir mengatakan bahwa hadits ini hasan).
Dalam Tuhfah Al-Ahwadzi (7: 278) disebutkan bahwa kenapa do’a mudah dikabulkan ketika berbuka puasa yaitu karena saat itu, orang yang berpuasa telah menyelesaikan ibadahnya dalam keadaan tunduk dan merendahkan diri.
