Negeri ini semakin amburadul. Indonesia sebagai negara hukum memasuki titik kritis yang paling mengerikan. Pada masa sekarang ini, hukum sepertinya justru dipakai sebagai alat penguasa untuk menghukum siapa saja yang dikehendakinya, tanpa melalui proses hukum yang semestinya. Aparat penegak hukum, polisi, kejaksaan bertindak sudah melampaui aturan-aturan hukum yang berlaku. Hukum bahkan menjadi permainan oleh aparat penegak hukum sendiri.
Kasus Ahok, yang sebenarnya bisa diproses hukum seperti biasa, tiba-tiba menjadi kasus yang sarat kepentingan politik karena aparat penegak hukumnya berlaku sangat tidak adil. Hanya dengan tekanan massa luar biasa dan dengan ridho Allah Swt, Ahok kemudian bisa diproses hukum, meski aparat melakukan pembelaan kepada Ahok secara kasat mata.
Proses hukum Ahok akhirnya mencapai puncak dengan vonis Majelis Hakim Ahok dinyatakan bersalah dan dihukum dua tahun penjara, langsung masuk tahanan. Para pendukung Ahok seperti tersengat, karena sebelumnya sudah sangat yakin Ahok akan bebas.
Vonis dua tahun Ahok ini menambah kekalahan para pendukung Ahok, yang sebelumnya sudah kalah pula di Pilkada DKI Jakarta. Para Ahokers kemudian bertingkah mengharu biru, melakukan demonstrasi sampai larut malam melanggar batas aturan (tapi polisi membiarkan saja-berbeda dengan aksi umat Islam yang melewati jam 18.00 langsung disemprot gas air mata).
Hal-hal seperti itu yang membuat seorang bernama Robert Smith polisi militer yang bertugas di Departemen Pertahanan Amerika (dapat tugas untuk menyelidiki kasus Ahok), malah akhirnya masuk Islam dengan mengucapkan syahadat. Alhamdulillah, atas keinginan dan kemauan sendiri beliau memutuskan untuk masuk Islam bersama tim Mualaf Center Darussalam.
Beberapa minggu di Indonesia menyelidiki (yang dikabarkan media asing sebagai negara mayoritas Islam dengan pemeluk Islam radikal karena kasus penodaan agama) yang beritanya sampai kenegaranya justru merubah pandangan seorang Roberth Smith terhadap Islam.
Robert Smith menyelidiki dan mendapati fakta sesungguhnya Basuki Tjahaja Purnama adalah pejabat yang tidak dipilih oleh rakyat tetapi tidak amanah mewarisi jabatan dari gubernur sebelumnya yang sekarang menjadi Presiden.
Justru setelah menjadi gubernur, Ahok banyak melanggar HAM bahkan mengingkari janji pilkada dengan menggusur rakyat - rakyat miskin dan berpihak kepada sekelompok orang saja, bahkan ingin melegalkan pelacuran, menginvestasikan uang rakyat untuk melegalkan minuman keras, kata-katanya kasar, kotor, menghina iman ummat muslim, sering menzalimi serta melukai jutaan umat Islam dan masih banyak lagi. Termasuk penggusuran dua buah masjid, yaitu Masjid Baitul Arif di Jatinegara, Jakarta Timur, dan Masjid bersejarah Amir Hamzah di Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM). Dengan dalih renovasi namun hingga hari ini tidak ada tanda-tanda akan dibangun kembali.
