Ada pembahasan seru di kalangan netizen mengenai tulisan Afi Nihaya Faradisa yang cukup menghebohkan belakangan ini.



Afi Nihaya Faradisa merupakan siswa SMA Negeri 1 Gambiran, Banyuawangi Jawa Timur yang mendadak terkenal karena tulisannya di facebook. Namun sejumlah tulisan itu dinilai palgiat alias menciplak buah pemikiran orang lain.

Salah satu netter dengan nama akun Pringadi Abdi Surya mencoba membongkar dugaan plagiat itu melalui tulisannya di kompasiana dengan judul: “Drama “Dugaan” Plagiarisme Afi Nihaya Faradisa” yang dipublis pada tanggal 31 Mei 2017

Tulisan itu juga ia sertakan dengan bukti-bukti berupa screenshoot yang diambil dari status akun Mita Handayani.

“Dengan pistol kita bisa membunuh teroris, tapi dengan pemahaman agama yang baik kita bisa membunuh terorisme. Itulah kalimat penutup tulisan terbaru Afi yang diunggah pada 25 Mei lalu tentang belas kasih.

Saya terusik dengan kalimat tersebut karena pernah merasa membaca yang serupa. Setelah otak-atik di berbagai aplikasi plagiarisme, saya baru ingat, kalimat itu pernah diucapkan Malala, anak muda yang meraih nobel karena perjuangannya di bidang pendidikan.

“With guns, you can kill terrorists. With education, you can kill terrorisme.” Kurang lebih berarti, dengan senjata kalian bisa membunuh teroris, dengan pendidikan kalian bisa membasmi terorisme.

Kegelisahan saya ternyata dialami juga beberapa orang di beranda pertemanan saya. Perbincangan seru terjadi di laman Nuruddin Asyhadie, seorang kritikus sastra yang memang sangat tegas pada teks.

Di statusnya, ia berusaha memancing diskusi, apakah teks yang ditulis Afi benar-benar layak dibilang jenius, logikanya pas, dan sejenisnya.

Namun, perbincangan itu menguak hal lain, yakni dugaan plagiarisme yang dilakukan Afi. Tulisan Afi mengenai belas kasih ini bisa dibilang sama persis dengan tulisan Mita Handayani yang diunggah ke Facebook pada 30 Juni 2016.

Bahkan status-status Afi yang lain, seperti soal warisan, ditengarai memiliki ruh yang sama dengan narasi sebuah video viral yang juga diterjemahkan oleh Mita. tangkapan layar facebook Afi dan Agama Kasih Dari perbandingan di atas, yang berbeda hanyalah judul, tanda baca, dan enjambemennnya/ pemenggalannya, bukan?

Namun, kita tahu bahwa bukan hanya chat via Whatsapp yang bisa dipalsukan dengan aplikasi. Status Facebook pun bisa, apalagi gambar di atas kurang meyakinkan.

Lalu, alam mempertemukan saya dengan seseorang yang memiliki screenshoot lebih lengkap atas tulisa Mita Handayani. Dari versi lengkap tersebut, bila kita bandingkan dengan tulisan Afi di sini akan kita temukan perbedaan lain, yakni tambahan 3 paragraf pada tulisan Afi, yang paragraf terakhir (namun hanya satu kalimat) adalah saduran kalimat yang diucapkan Malala.

Ketika saya buka Unplag, dan plagiarisme checker lainnya, awalnya saya berasumsi Afi hanya melakukan parafrase yang ilegal, cara mengutip yang keliru karena tidak tahu bagaimana seharusnya memperlakukan pendapat orang lain di dalam tulisan kita sendiri.

Kasus-kasus plagiat memang banyak terjadi, bahkan oleh penulis dan akademisi yang sudah punya nama. Masih segar dalam ingatan saya kasus DAM yang menjiplak Ryunosuke Akutagawa, cerpen Bamby Cahyadi yang dijiplak oleh Yessy S, dll.

Penjiplakan dalam dunia akademis sama dengan kiamat karena berakibat dikeluarkan dan dicabut gelar akademiknya. Untunglah bangsa kita pemaaf, DAM tidak menyerah sejak Akutagawa-gate-nya di Kompas dan Horison dan kini menjadi penulis yang lebih baik.

Dengan alasan pemaaf seperti itu, mungkin Mita memaafkan dia sehingga sekarang (karena saya tak berteman dengannya), saya tak bisa menemukan tulisan yang diunggah pada 30 Juni 2016 itu.

Di status terbarunya, Mita malah mendefinisikan dirinya sebagai “I’m a proud senior” karena Afi menjadi momentum yang menyebarkan pemikirannya. Biarlah saya tidak dikenal, tapi pemikiran saya dibaca dan dipahami oleh banyak orang. Mungkin seperti itu.

Dalam perbincangan di status Nuruddin, bahkan, hal ini mengarah lebih jauh lagi pada pengorbitan seseorang sebagai “wakil” dari kelompok tertentu yang pernah menjadi bisik-bisik dalam dunia kepenulisan (mungkin sebagian teman tahu pada gosip dunia sastra soal penulis A dan penulis L).

Saya tidak sempat berpikir sejauh itu, dan saya masih berharap tulisan yang saya tulis ini salah. Afi bukanlah seorang plagiat, dan dia memang bisa menulis. Saya terjebak di antara dua pertanyaan, apakah saya akan menjatuhkan sesuatu hingga pecah ataukah saya akan menumbuhkan sesuatu yang seharusnya belum pantas tumbuh?”.
