Objektif :
Kaedah ini bertujuan memberitahu kepada suami akan beratnya kesakitan yang dihadapi oleh isteri ketika hendak melahirkan anak dan menuntut suami supaya sentiasa berada disamping isterinya agar beban kesakitan dapat dikurangkan.
Kaedah ini juga bagi membimbing suami supaya dapat menyambut kelahiran anak mengikut cara yang digarispandukan oleh Islam.
Aktiviti :
1. Suami Berada Di Samping Isteri Ketika Saat-Saat Isteri Hendak Bersalin.
Alangkah gelisah dan kritikalnya saat-saat akan melahirkan anak lebih-lebih lagi bagi ibu yang pertama kalinya akan melahirkan anak. Suami perlu memberikan motivasi kepada isteri agar tetap tabah dan sabar, di samping suami harus banyak berdoa kepada Allah serta banyak beristighfar dan berselawat disamping membanyakkan bacaan surah Al-Insyiqa' dan surah Al-Hasyr.
Firman Allah Taal dalam surah Luqman ayat 14 :
Maksudnya : "Dan Kami wajibkan menusia berbuat baik kepada kedua ibu bapanya; ibunya telah mengandungnya dengan menanggung kelemahan demi kelemahan (dari awal mengandung hingga ke akhir menyusunya) dan tempoh menceraikan susunya ialah dalam masa dua tahun (dengan yang demikian) bersyukurlah kepadaKu dan kepada kedua ibubapamu dan (ingatlah), kepada Akulah jua tempat kembali (untuk menerima balasan).
2. Azan Di Telinga Kanan Dan Iqamah Di Telinga Kiri.
Suami hendaklah segera mengazankan di telinga kanan anak yang baru lahir dan diiqamahkan di telinga kiri dengan tujuan supaya dijauhi anaknya dari gangguan syaitan dan supaya kalimah pertama yang dapat didengar oleh bayi ialah kalimah Allah. Dalam sebuah hadis yang diriwayatkan dari Rafi' r.a. Rasulullah bersabda :
Maksudnya : "Aku melihat sendiri Rasulullah s.a.w. mengazankan Al-Hassan bin Ali pada telinganya ketika itu ia baru dilahirkan oleh Fatimah r.a."

3. Membaca Surah Al-Qadar dan Surah Al-Ikhlas.
Suami hendaklah juga membanyakkan bacaan surah Al-Qadar di telinga kanan dan surah Al-Ikhlas di telinga kiri bagi tujuan memohon kepada Allah supaya anak yang dilahirkan terselamat dari melakukan perzinaan dan memohon juga supaya dikuatkan iman, jauh dari menyeleweng fahaman akidahnya dari landasan Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaah.
4. Membaca Surah Al-Insyirah Di Jari Manis Dan Ditahnikkan.
Suami juga hendaklah membaca surah Al-Insyirah di jari manis kemudian mencelupkan jari manis ke dalam manisan (madu) dan ditekankan (ditahnikkan) di langit-langit bayi tersebut dengan membaca ayat 36, surah Ali-Imran :
Maksudnya : "Maka apabila ia melahirkannya, berkatalah ia: Wahai Tuhanku! Sesungguhnya aku telah melahirkan seorang anak perempuan (sedang yang aku harap-harapkan ialah anak lelaki), - dan Allah memang mengetahui akan apa yang dilahirkannya itu - dan memanglah tidak sama anak lelaki dengan anak perempuan dan bahawasanya aku telah menamakannya Maryam, dan aku melindungi dia dengan peliharaanMu, demikian juga zuriat keturunannya, dari godaan syaitan yang kena rejam (yang dikutuk dan disingkirkan)".
Tahnik adalah bertujuan untuk memohon kepada Allah S.W.T. supaya anak yang dilahirkan mempunyai lidah yang fasih dan terkawal lidahnya dari menyebut perkara-perkara yang tidak berfaedah dan mendatangkan maksiat walaupun perkara ini boleh dilakukan oleh orang yang soleh namun bapa kepada anak tersebut lebih utama melakukan tahnik untuk anaknya kerana hadis riwayat oleh Tirmizi menyebutkan salah satu doa yang paling mustajab ialah doa ibu bapa untuk anaknya".
5. Melaksanakan Tuntutan Sempena Hari Ketujuh.
Memberikan nama yang baik.
Bapa dikehendaki menamakan anaknya dengan nama-nama yang baik pada hari ketujuh kerana nama itu sendiri adalah merupakan doa kepada anaknya.
Rasulullah s.a.w. bersabda :
Maksudnya : "Sesungguhnya kamu akan diseru pada hari kiamat dengan nama-nama kamu dan nama-nama bapa kamu, maka indahkanlah nama kamu".
Riwayat Abu Daud
Membaca Doa ketika memberikan nama anak.
Maksudnya : "Ya Allah wahai Tuhan kami, jadikanlah nama yang diberikan ini memberi keberkatan kepadanya, pandukan segala usahanya ke arah keredhaanMu, jadikan menuntut ilmu sebagai matlamatnya dan akhirkan hidupnya dengan amal-amal soleh. Ya Allah wahai tuhan kami, lanjutkanlah usianya dalam ketaatan kepadaMu dan kepada RasulMu dan jadikan tubuh badannya dalam keadaan sihat walafiat. Ya Allah, jadikan ia pemimpin di waktu dewasa, teguhkan imannya sepertimana iman para nabiMu sehingga hari kiamat. Ya Allah kurniakan ia rezeki yang halal dan berkat, dekatkanlah ia dengan kebaikan dan jauhkan ia daripada kejahatan dengan rahmatMu Ya Allah yang Maha Pengasih.
Mengaqiqahkan anak.
Bapa hendaklah mengaqiqahkan anaknya kerana hukumnya adalah sunat mu'akad iaitu dengan mengadakna kenduri kesyukuran. Menyembelih 2 ekor kambing bagi anak lelaki dan seekor kambing bagi anak perempuan. Sebaik-baiknya dilakukan pada hari ketujuh.
Rasulullah s.a.w. bersabda :
Maksudnya : "Setiap anak yang dilahirkan tergadai dengan aqiqahnya yang disembelih pada hari ke tujuh kelahirannya, diberikan nama dan dicukur rambutnya".
Riwayat abu Daud
Ketika menyembelih aqiqah disuruh juga menyebut nama anak.
Maksudnya : "Dengan nama Allah, Ya Allah untukMu dan bagiMu akikah ini dari ……(sebut nama anak)….
Gesaan Aqiqah :
Rasulullah s.a.w. bersabda :
Maksudnya : "Kerkakanlah aqiqah bagi anak lelaki yang baru lahir, kerana itu hendaklah kamu menyembelih aqiqah dan jauhkanlah gangguan dari anak itu".
Muttafaqun A'laih
Antara hikmah aqiqah adalah :
Membiiasakan berkorban bagi orang tua demi kepentingan bayi yang baru lahir di dunia.
Melindungi diri dari gangguan syaitan.
Bercukur rambut.
Adalah menjadi tanggungjawab bapa untuk mencukur rambut anaknya pada hari ke tujuh (dibotakkan) sama ada dilakukan olehnya sendiri atau orang lain.
Antara hikmah bercukur rambut adalah :
Hikmah kesihatan.
Dengan membuang, mencukur rambut anak yang baru lahir akan terbuka semua lubang rambutnya yang mungkin akan mengukuhkan pancaindera penglihatan, pernafasan dan pendengaran.
Hikmah kemasyarakatan.
Dapat bersedekah dengan emas atau perak seberat timbangan rambutnya. Dalam sebuah hadis yang diriwayatkan dari Anas bin Malik r.s. ia berkata :
Maksudnya : "Sesungguhnya Rasulullah s.a.w. telah menyuruh supaya mencukur rambut cucunya Saidina Hassan dan Hussin r.a. pada hari ketujuh dan disedekahkan berat timbangan rambutnya dengan nilai perak".
Riwayat At-Tirmizi dan Abu Daud
Khurafat yang perlu ditinggalkan.
Mencukur bahagian-bahagian tertentu daripada kepala sebagaimana yang banyak dilakukan sekarang, kerana ini termasuk dalam perkara yang dilarang keras oleh Rasulullah s.a.w. sebagaimana maksud hadis yang diriwayatkan oleh Bukhari dan Muslim.
Menggunakan buah kelapa dan segala macam campuran seperti garam dan bunga kerana amalan ini diambil dari budaya Hindu. Rasulullah bersabda :
Maksudnya : "Barangsiapa yang menyerupai (meniru apa sahaja perkara-perkara yang bertentangan dengan syariat Islam) dengan sesuatu kaum (yang bukan Islam) maka ia tergolong daripada mereka".
Mengkhatankan anak.
Bapa bertanggungjawab untuk mengkhatankan anak lelakinya. Dalam sebuah hadis disebutkan :
Maksudnya : "Berkhatan itu sunat bagi lelaki, mulia bagi wanita".
Riwayat Abu Daud
Walaupun demikian, amalan masyarakat kita mengkhatankan anak pada umur sebelas tahun atau dua belas tahun tidaklah menyalahi syarak. Adalah menjadi suatu yang baik sekiranya anak-anak sebelum dikhatankan terlebih dahulu diaturkan majlis khatam Al-Quran untuknya.
Antara faedah berkhatan adalah :
Melindungi daripada berbagai-bagai penyakit.
Membersihkan diri dari kekotoran.
6. Menyusukan Anak.
Demi kesihatan anak, ibu hendaklah menyusukan anak dengan susu ibu.
Firman allah Taala dalam surah Al-Bawarah ayat 233:
Maksudnya : "Dan ibu-ibu hendaklah menyusukan anak-anak mereka selama dua tahun genap iaitu bagi orang yang hendak menyempurnakan penyusuan itu".
Imam As-Syafie berkata
"Sihat atau tidak anak itu adalah bergantung sama ada anak disusui oleh susu ibu atau tidak walaupun sekali susuan".
Kelebihan menyusukan anak :
Setiap tegukan dari susu ibu, Allah S.W.T. memberi pahala satu kebaikan.
Bila ibunya semalaman tidak dapat tidur kerana menjaga anaknya yang sakit, maka Allah S.W.T. memberi pahala seperti memerdekakan 70 hamba ke jalan Allah.
