Polisi memburu seorang wanita Thailand yang dituduh menikahi setidaknya delapan orang, sebelum melarikan diri dengan tumpukan uang dan emas kawin.

Nilai uang yang dilarikan perempuan itu mencapai 6.000-15.000 dollar AS atau kira-kira Rp 80 juta - Rp 200 juta per pernikahan.

Salah satu korban, Prasarn Tiamyam (32) melaporkan peristiwa yang dialaminya itu kepada Divisi Penindakan Kejahatan di Kepolisian Kota Bangkok, Thailand, Selasa (5/9/2017).

Dia melaporkan "mantan istrinya" yang bernama Jariyaporn "Nammon" Buayai (32), karena merasa ditipu hingga senilai Rp 80 juta.

Menurut Prasarn, perempuan itu melarikan uangnya, empat hari setelah resepsi pernikahan yang digelar di sebuah resor di Provinsi Prachuap Khiri Khan.

Prasarn yang kini telah menikah lagi, memutuskan untuk mengadu ke polisi setelah menyadari bahwa kasus yang dialaminya adalah sebuah penipuan.

Sebelumnya, kabar dan peringatan mengenai modus penipuan lewat pernikahan ini telah menyebar luas di media sosial di Thailand.

Berbicara kepada Amarin TV, Prasarn mengatakan, dia mengenal Nammon di Facebook pada bulan Februari 2015.

Setelah sembilan bulan berkenalan, Prasarn setuju untuk menikahi, karena perempuan itu mengaku hamil.

Prasarn mengatakan, selama hubungan mereka, Nammon tak pernah mengijinkannya untuk bertemu dengan orangtua sang istri.

Tak lama setelah menikah, Nammon mengaku harus menyelesaikan urusan bisnis buah di Provinsi Nong Khai. Dia pun pergi.

Segera setelah itu, Prasarn tidak bisa lagi menghubungi istrinya. Sebagai gantinya, dia mendapat telepon dari seorang wanita yang mengaku sebagai keponakan Nammon.

Wanita itu mengatakan, Nammon kehilangan bayi dalam kandungannya, dan Prasarn diminta untuk tak menghubunginya lagi.

Prasarn baru menyadari bahwa dia telah ditipu, ketika cerita Nammon ini dimuat di media sosial.

Seorang korban lain yang menolak identitasnya diungkap, juga mengaku bertemu Nammon di Facebook.

Dari pria ini, Nammon disebut melarikan dana sebesar Rp 200 juta, yang merupakan bagian dari mas kawin dalam pernikahan mereka pada Februari lalu.

Sesaat setelah pria itu mentransfer uang ke rekening banknya, Nammon mengatakan, saat ini bukan saat yang tepat untuk menikah karena ramalan horoskop yang buruk.

Mengutip korban lain, yang hanya diidentifikasi sebagai "Wichit," Morning News melaporkan, lelaki itu telah berkomunikasi dengan tujuh pria lain yang juga ditipu oleh wanita yang sama.

Wichit mengatakan, bahwa cerita mereka serupa, yakni berkenal di Facebook, mengajak berhubungan seks, dan lalu berbohong tentang hamil.

Menurut unggahan di Facebook 30 Agustus tentang Nammon, disebut, wanita itu diperkirakan menikah seminggu sekali di bulan Agustus, dengan lima orang yang berbeda.

Namun, sampai hari ini, tidak ada laporan yang dapat diverifikasi tentang berapa banyak pria yang telah dinikahi.

Kemarin, polisi mendatangi rumah orangtua Nammon di Distrik Wang Sapung, dan hanya mendapat kenyataan bahwa orangtuanya pun melarikan diri.

Polisi hanya menemukan kakak perempuan Nammon, yang mengaku telah memutuskan hubungan dengan Nammon.

Pasalnya, adik perempuannya itu tak pernah mengembalikan uang utang sebesar Rp 4 juta.

Perempuan yang namanya tak diungkap itu sempat mengimbau melalui media sosial, agar Nammon menyerahkan diri.
