MALANG - Pihak Universitas Tribuana Tunggadewi (Unitri) Malang membantah adanya aturan pelarangan menggunakan cadar di lingkungan kampus.

Pihak Unitri juga membantah kalau dua mahasiswanya dipaksa melepaskan cadar mereka.

Wakil Rektor 3 Universitas Tribuana Tunggadewi Totok Sasongko mengatakan hingga saat ini belum ada perubahan peraturan.

Mahasiswa tetap diberi kebebasan berpenampilan sepanjang masih mengikuti tata tertib kampus seperti tidak boleh gondrong, bertindik, menggunakan kaos oblong dan mengenakan sandal.

"Klarifikasi, di Unitri secara formal tidak ada aturan yang mengatur atau melarang penampilan mahasiswa menggunakan cadar," ujat Totok, Jumat (18/11/2017).

Totok menerangkan, berdasarkan laporan yang ia terima, dua mahasiswi yang mengenakan cadar dipanggil oleh dosen wali.

Selayaknya wali pengganti orangtua, dosen itu memberikan arahan dan berkomunikasi lebih jauh soal penggunaan cadar.

Dalam komunikasi itu, diterangkan kalau pihak universitas tidak memaksa mahasiswi untuk membuat surat pernyataan.

"Kalau ketemu dosen wali itu fungsinya menggantikan ortu selama ada di kampus. Kalau laki-laki, menggunakan anting diingatkan. Kalau rambutnya gondrong dilarang. Kalau perempuan,

menggunakan cadar diajak komunikasi. Menurut laporan yang saya terima. Komunikasinya adalah perwalian," pungkasnya.

Untuk mengeluarkan surat pernyataan, prosesnya berawal dari biro kemahasiswaan kemudian dinaikan ke WR 3 dan lebih tinggi adalah Rektor.

Totok menegaskan, belum pernah membuat atau menandatangani surat peringatan berkaitan penggunaan cadar.

Terkait informasi kecaman yang dikeluarkan HMI Komisariat Unitri, pihak kampus masih belum bisa meyakini hingga kalau surat itu berasal dari HMI.

Pasalnya, tidak ada kop HMI dan stempel HMI dinsurat yang beredar luas di sosial media tersebut.

"Kalau kehadiran berkaitan dengan berita di medsos yang menyebutkan dari HMI Komisariat Unitri,

setelah kami cek, tidak ada identitas HMI. Tidak ada kop resmi dari HMI. Yang ada individu seseorang. Perlu kita cek kebenarannya," paparnya.

Pihak kampus menjelaskan akan tetap membina para mahasiswanya.

Terkait persoalan ini, pihak kampus akan mencarikan solusi yang tepat.

Pihak kampus juga tidak akan mengeluarkan dua mahasiswinya yang mengenakan cadar.

"Mereka adalah anak-anak kami. Orangtuanya menitipkan kepada kami. Tidak ada pemikiran untuk ke ranah hukum," terang Totok.

Agung Suprojo selaku Kepala Biro Kemahasiswaan mengatakan adalah hal wajar jika dosen menanyakan alasan mahasiswinya menggunakan cadar.

Senada dengan Totok, tidak ada desakan larangan melepas cadar kepada dua mahasiswinya.

Ia juga menerangkan, dalam konteks pembinaan dosen kepada mahasiswanya.

Maka dosen memiliki cara untuk pembinaan ke arah yang positif.

"Wajar kalau tanya kenapa pakai cadar. Itu wajar untuk mendeteksi alasan langsung ke mahasiswanya," paparnya.

Ia juga menjelaskan kalau dua orang mahasiswi yang mengenakan cadar tersebut belum pernah memanfaatkan konseling di kemahasiswaan.

Alhasil, pihaknya pun belum mengetahui identitas kedua mahasiswi tersebut.

"Mereka tidak pernah konseling. Jadi kami belum tahu. Tapi infonya mereka mahasiswa akuntansi dan manajemen," pungkasnya.

Seperti diberitakan sebelumnya, dua mahasiswi Unitri mengaku mendapat pelarangan menggunakan cadar.

Keduanya juga mengaku diancam akan dikeluarkan dari kampus jika tidak melepas cadar.

Kedua mahasiswi itu adalah Sari Wulandari (20) dan Giah Dewi (20).

Keduanya adalah mahasiswi Unitri semester 5 dari Fakultas Ekonomi.

Kepada sejumlah awak media, Wulan menerangkan kalau awalnya ia dipanggil Kepala Program Studi (KPS) Akuntansi Fakultas Ekonomi Risna Ningsih sekitar dua minggu yang lalu.

Keduanya kemudian ditanya alasan menggunakan cadar.

Wulan melanjutkan, setelah menanyakan alasan, keduanya diberitahu kalau Risna mendapat teguran dari atasan karena dua mahasiswinya menggunakan cadar.
