BLITAR - Ternyata, banyak orang Indonesia yang usianya lebih dari 100 tahun. Salah satunya, mbah Gotho, pria asal Sragen, Jateng.
Sebelum tutup usia pada 30 April 2017 lalu, ia sempat merayakan Ultah-nya yang ke-146 tahun.
Satu lagi, kakek yang dikabarkan usianya tertua saat ini adalah mbah Arjo Suwito.
Meski tak ada bukti tertulis atau kesaksian orang lain, namun kakek asal Dusun Sukomulyo, Desa Gadungan, Kecamatan Gandusari, Kabupaten Blitar ini mengklaim usianya sudah 200 tahun lebih.
Namun, data di balai desanya, ia tercatat kelahiran 1825.
Saat ini, ia hidup bersama anaknya, Ginem (53). Katanya, Ginem itu anaknya yang ke-18, dari istrinya yang keenam.
Sejak tahun 1990-an, mereka tinggal di lereng Gunung Kelud atau tepatnya, di Gunung Gedang.
Dari puncak Gunung Kelud itu, tempat mbah Arjo berjarak sekitar 10 kilometer.
Untuk menuju ke lokasi itu, tak mudah karena jalannya cukup sulit, dengan melalui perkebunan pohon Karet, yang masuk wilayah perhutani (BKPH Wlingi).
Makanya, itu harus ditempuh dengan sepeda motor yang sudah dimodifikasi seperti trail.
Jika mau ke tempat itu, rutenya harus melalui Kecamatan Talun, kemudian ke arah utara sekitar 12 kilometer yang sudah masuk Kecamatan Gandusari.
Dari Kecamatan Gandusari itu, harus ditempuh menggunakan sepeda motor trail, dan melalui dua desa.
Yakni, Desa Gandusari dan Gandungan.
Setelah melalui medan yang sulit sepanjang 7 km, itu baru sampai ke tempat mbah Arjo.
Tempat mbah Arjo itu lebih dikenal dengan Candi Wringin Branjang karena ada candi yang diperkirakan peninggalan Kerajaan Majapahit.
Bahkan, candi yang bangunannya mirip Candi Penataran itu disebut-disebut, yang menemukan pertama kali adalah mbah Arjo tahun 1990.
Saat itu, mbah Arjo baru sebulan menghuni lokasi itu, dan menemukan bangunan, yang terpendam tanah pegunungan.
Ditemui Minggu (14/1) pukul 09.00 WIB, ia sedang duduk di dalam rumahnya. Rumah mbah Arjo, sangat tak layak karena lebih mirip gubuk, dengan ukuran 3 x 4 meter.
Dindingnya berasal dari bambu (gedek), namun sebagian belum dianyam dan cukup dipaku. Atapnya terbuat dari alang-alang bercampur jerami.
"Sejak saya tinggal di sini (1990-an), ya ini rumah saya. Ini saya tempati dengan anak perempuan saya," tutur Mbah Arjo, yang bicaranya masih lancar namun mengaku sudah setahun agak susah jalan.
Sejak tak bisa jalan itu, ia tak bisa beraktivitas apapun.
Bahkan, mulai berak, atau kencing, itu ia lakukan di atas tempat tidurnya, yang terbuat dari bambu, dengan tikar pandan, yang kondisinya sudah kusam.
Meski hidup di tengah hutan, namun ia mengaku tak kesulitan air bersih atau kebutuhan makan lainnya.
Sebab, di dekat tempat tinggalnya, ada kali, yang airnya cukup jernih.
Untuk makanannya, ia mengandalkan sayur yang ditanam sendiri, seperti daun singkong, dan bayam.
Sementara, berasnya, ia mengaku mendapat jatah beras raskin.
"Kalau nggak dapat jatah beras, ya saya sudah biasa cukup minum air putih saja," paparnya.
Ditanya usianya berapa? Mbah Arjo mengaku sudah 200 tahun.
Soal tahun kelahirannya, ia mengaku lupa dan hanya ingat harinya.
Yakni Selasa Kliwon (pada Subuh). Ia kelahiran Desa Gadungan, yang berjarak sekitar 8 Kilometer dari tempatnya sekarang ini.
"Kalau dikait-kaitkan dengan peristiwa jaman dulu soal masa kecil saya, ya saya sudah lupa. Namun, ketika jaman penjajah Jepang, saya sudah beristri yang keenam kali. Sebab, kelima istri saya itu meninggal dunia, sehingga saya menikah lagi, dan dapat istri orang Ponorogo, namanya Suminem. Ia meninggal dunia ketika Indonesia Merdeka," paparnya.
Sebanyak enam kali menikah itu, ia mengaku dikaruniai 18 anak.
Namun, 17 anaknya sudah meninggal dunia, dan tinggal satu, Ginem, yang hidup bersamanya.
Ia menuturkan, dari istri pertamanya, Sumini, warga Desa Pehpulo, Kecamatan Wates (Kab Blitar), ia punya anak satu, namun sudah lama meninggal.
Istri keduanya, Tuminem, asal Desa Semen, Kecamatan Gandusari, punya anak empat, juga sudah meninggal semua.
Dengan istri ketiga, Paijem, asal Desa Ngambak, Gandusari, punya anak empat, juga sudah meninggal. Istri keempat, Tumila, asal Pacitan, punya anak empat, juga sudah meninggal semua.
Untuk istrinya yang kelima, Tukinem, asal Ponorogo, tak dikaruniai anak, baru dari istrinya yang ke enam, Suminem, asal Ponorogo, dikaruniai empat anak.
Namun, ketiganya sudah meninggal dan tinggal Ginem, yang kini berusia 53 tahun. Hanya saja, ia saat ini mengalami keterbelakangan mental.
Widodo, Kades Gadungan, menuturkan, sebelum tinggal di komplek Candi Wringi Branjang, mbah
Arjo itu warga desanya. Namun, sejak menemukan candi itu, ia ingin tinggal di situ, dengan mendirikan gubuk.
"Kalau data di kependudukan desa kami, mbah Arjo itu tercatat kelahiran Desa Gadungan, pada 19 Januari 1825. Kalau data pendukungnya, ya nggak ada.
Cuma, kakek saya, mbah Mawiro Pradio, yang kelahiran 1918 saja, memangil mbah arjo itu kakek.
Berarti bisa dibayangkan, kalau mbah Arjo sudah sangat tua. Mbah saya itu baru meninggal tahun 1990 lalu," ungkap Widodo yang usianya baru 48 ini.
Entah apa kelebihannya, namun sejak mbah Arjo menemukan candi itu, dan tinggal di dekat candi itu, hampir ada tamu yang datang setiap hari-hari tertentu.
Lebih-lebih, setiap malam 1 Suro, menurut Widono, mbah Arjo selalu kebanjiran tamu. Tak hanya dari Blitar, namun dari berbagai daerah, seperti Jogjakarta, Ponorogo, Pacitan, bahkan Jakarta.
Mereka melakukan ritual di gubuknya mbah Arjo, seperti melekan.
"Biasanya para tamunya lapor ke desa, bahkan perangkat kami seringkali yang mengantar tamu-tamunya mbah Arjo. Kalau ada melek-an 1 Suro, malah kami yang meminjami genset karena tempat tinggalnya belum terjangkau listrik," tuturnya.
Bahkan, tamunya tak hanya kalangan orang biasa, tak sedikit para pengusaha dan para pejabat.
Salah sattunya adalah Heri Noegroho, Bupati Blitar dua periode, mulai 2005-1015. Meski tamunya banyak orang berduit, namun kehidupan mbah Arjo tetap sederhana.
Buktinya, hanya sekadar beli beras saja, tak mampu sering sehingga sering tak makan.
"Bahkan, saya tahu sendiri, pernah diberi uang oleh seorang pejabat, yang dibantunya, namun mbah Arjo tak mau. Malah si pejabat itu diberi uang dollar, yang bentuknya masih baru, dan asli. Oleh pejabat itu, dollar itu diterimanya," tutur Widodo.
Heri Noegroho, mengaku mengenalnya dengan baik. Itu karena ia kagum dengan kesederhaan mbah Arjo.
"Dulu (saat masih jadi bupati), saya memang sering ke sana, dengan naik sepeda motor.
Selain ada kepentingan tersendiri dengan mbah Arjo, juga sekalian ingin mengenalkan destinasi wisata, yakni candi penemuan mbah Arjo (Candi Wringin Branjang) itu," tuturnya, Minggu (14/1).
Kalau soal usia mbah Arjo, Heri Neogroho mengaku tak tahu pasti, namun ia yakin sudah 100 tahun lebih.
Dari sosok mbah Arjo, Heri mengaku banyak pelajaran hidup yang bisa dipetik. Selain sederhana, ia bisa bertahan hidup di lereng pegunungan, dengan hanya makan seadanya.
"Mungkin, dengan kondisinya seperti itu, ia jadi awet hidup karena tak berpikiran macam-macam," ujarnya.
Mbah Arjo mengaku, selama hidupnya, ia mengalami enam kali Gunung Kelud itu meletus.
Namun, ia lupa tahunnya.
Dari enam kali meletus itu, menurutnya, yang paling dashyat tahun 1990 atau saat itu dirinya sudah tinggal di lereng gunung tersebut.
Namun demikian, ia tak mau dievakuasi dan tetap tinggal di gubuknya itu bersama anaknya.
"Padahal saat itu, ketebelan abunya di desa kami saja sampai 1 meter. Namun, ketika mbah Arjo mau dievakuasi, nggak mau. Malah bilang, saya nggak usah dievakuasi karena saya sudah kenal semua dan teman saya di sini banyak. Padahal, di gubuknya itu, ia hanya tinggal berdua dengan anaknya, namun katanya temannya banyak," papar Widodo.
Baru saat terjadi letusan Genung Kelud tahun 2014 lalu, papar Widodo, terpaksa mbah Arjo dan anaknya, dievakuasi paksa meski menolaknya.
Memang, warga tak khawatir, kali lahar yang ada di depan gubuk rumahnya itu meluap sampai ke gubuknya, cuma yang ditakutkan, ia terkena imbas dari letusan itu.
"Katanya, saya nggak usah dibawa pergi, wong di sini saya sudah ada yang memayungi. Tapi, kami nggak tega, ya saat itu kami ke balai desa," ungkapnya.
Meski mbah Arjo mengaku tak pernah pergi ke mana-mana, namun bukan berarti tak punya pengalaman hidup yang berharga.
Hanya saja, itu jarang diceritakan ke orang karena dianggap tak perlu. Misalnya, dulu semasa jaman perjuangan, ia mengaku sering bertemu Bung Karno, dan Supriadi, Pahlawan pembela tanah air (PETA).
Saat itu, ia masih tinggal di Dusun Sukomulyo, Desa Gadungan. Oleh Bung Karno dan Supriadi, ia disuruh menemaninya saat melakukan ritual di lerang Gunung Gedang, yang kini berdiri bangunan gubuknya itu.
"Saat itu, saya sudah tua, bahkan Pak Karno dan Pak Supriadi, masih jejaka, sehingga kalau memanggil saya, mbah," papar mbah Arjo.
Katanya, dirinya bisa kenal dengan Bung Karno dan Supriadi, melalui kontak batin. Akhirnya, mereka bertemu pada suatu malam, dan disuruh menemani ritual di lereng Gunung Kelud itu.
"Kalau ritual, saya hanya duduk di sampingnya, sampai terdengar ayam berkokok. Namun, antara pak Karno dan Pak Supriadi, seingat saya tak pernah melakukan ritual bersama di sini. Saat itu, saya lupa sedang terjadi peristiwa apa di Indonesia, namun sepertinya belum kemerdekaan," paparnya, yang mengaku saat masih sering ketemu Bung Karno itu dirinya sudah menikah enam kali.
Menurut mbah Arjo, saat Bung Karno sering ritual di tempatnya itu dulu, kondisinya masih hutan belantara, bahkan masih banyak binatang buas.
Tempat duduk yang dipakai ritul Bung Karno itu, kini letaknya di dalam gubuknya itu.
Dari pengalaman spritualnya itu,ia akhirnya meninggalkan kampungnya dan tinggal di sebuah gubuk di tempat itu tahun 1990.
"Selama tinggal di sini, saya memang sering bermimpi, bertemu Pak Karno. Bahkan, dalam mimpi saya itu, Pak Karno sering berkunjung ke sini," ujarnya,.
Ditanya soal tips hidupnya, dalam usia segitu kok masih sehat? Ia mengaku tak punya tips apa-apa. Cuma, ia pernah makan ikan karena memang tak ada ikan. Setiap hari, ia hanya makan sayuran, yang ditanam sendiri, dan banyak minum air putih.
"Pesan saya, jangan banyak pikiran. Agar tak selalu kepikiran, jangan menyakiti orang, supaya tak jadi beban. Seperti saya tinggal di sini ini, siapa yang saya sakiti wong tak ada orang lain, selain anak saya," ujarnya.
Selama hidupnya, ia mengaku baru setahun ini measakan sakit pada kakinya. Kedua kakinya tiba-tiba tak bisa digerakkan. Sebelumnya atau setahun lalu, ia masih bisa menyangkul atau menanam sayur-sayuran, seperti bayam, mencari kayu bakar, mandi ke kali sendiri, yang ada di belakang rumahnya.
Namun, saat ini segala kebutuhannya, dilayani anaknya.
"Saya ini nggak pernah sakit, bahkan pilek (flu) saya nggak pernah. Soal makanan, ya seadanya, wong saya sering puasa, karena memang keadaannya tak ada yang dimakan lebih. Kecuali, minum air putih, dan makan apa yang ada," pungkasnya.
