Misal, seorang pemimpin akan memusatkan pikirannya dalam menghadapi masalah. Hal yang dapat menurunkan kemampuan memusatkan pikiran dan bahkan merusaknya adalah penyimpangan dan terlalu sibuk dalam menuruti hawa nafsu. William juga mengungkapkan bahwa akal merupakan alat yang mengagumkan dan memiliki kemampuan yang sangat hebat jika difokuskan pada suatu titik.
Berkaitan dengan itu di Amerika dilakukan latihan berbicara kepada suatu obyek dengan menghadirkan hati dalam setiap kalimat yang diucapkannya dengan tujuan meningkatkan semangat dan kekuatan untuk berkeinginan dalam beraktivitas. Jika saja mereka tahu tentang sholatnya kaum Muslim. Dan harap dicatat: obyek yang dituju dalam sholat adalah Dzat Yang Maha Agung, tentu saja kekuatan yang didapatkan sangat jauh. Subhanallah
Akhir-akhir ini, muncul kontroversi hukum haram terhadap yoga. Banyak pro dan kontra atas isu tersebut. Saya tidak bisa melakukan justifikasi akan hukum itu. Tapi, mengacu pada manfaat kekhusyukan dalam sholat serta temuan bahwa sholat mampu menghilangkan kekhawatiran dalam diri dengan menuju kepada Allah, Dzat Yang Maha Agung, lalu kenapa kita malah memalingkan diri dari sholat yang merupakan manifestasi yang dahsyat dan melakukan meditasi yoga? Sungguh tidak perlu diperdebatkan dengan menguras nalar.
“Sesungguhnya sungguh beruntunglah orang-orang yang beriman, (yaitu) orang-orang yang khusyu’ dalam sholatnya” (QS Al-Mu’minuun 1-2)
5. Sholat mampu menyebuhkan rematik
Para ilmuwan dan juga para dokter mengungkapkan, salah satu cara untuk menyembuhkan rematik (khususnya pada tulang punggung) yang disebabkan ketidakseimbangan otot adalah dengan berolahraga. Berdasarkan saran dari dokter ini maka tidak ada solusi terbaik untuk menghindari rematik sejak dini kecuali dengan melaksanakan sholat 5 waktu secara konsisten, karena gerakan sholat adalah jenis gerakan terbaik yang mampu mengembalikan fungsi otot dengan baik.
Gerakan yang dimaksud adalah gerakan rukuk, berdiri tegak dan sujud. tentu saja gerakan itu adalah gerakan yang tuma’nina (tidak tergesa-gesa) dan sebaiknya lebih lama. Gerakan yang dilakukan secara berulang tersebut merupakan terapi terbaik dan penyembuhan terhebat bagi siapapun yang menderita penyakit tulang dalam waktu yang cepat.
6. Sholat mampu mengurangi kekhawatiran dalam diri
Berbagai kajian psikologi modern mengungkapkan bahwa semua motivasi dan daya rasa manusia sangat terkait erat dengan perubahan zat kimia dalam otak. Meningkatnya adrenalin dalam tubuh sebanding dengan peningkatan kekhawatiran dalam diri seseorang. Selanjutnya hal tersebut akan berpengaruh pada meningkatnya detak jantung akibat tekanan darah menuju jantung. Selain itu, syaraf menjadi menjauh dari sistem pencernaan sehingga prosesnya terganggu. Kadar gula pada hati makin menumpuk dan persentasenya meningkat dalam aliran darah. Jika semuanya itu terus terjadi, maka permasalahan pada tubuh dan akhirnya otak pun terjadi. Berbagai gejolak pemikiran dan penyimpangan perilaku ini menjadi imbas pengaruh buruk tersebut.
Dalam harian surat kabar “London West” diungkapkan bahwa selama 10 tahun, Eropa mengadakan penelitian komparasi antara mereka yang selalu disiplin melakukan ritual ibadah dengan mereka yang tidak pernah sama sekali. kesimpulan yang mereka dapatkan adalah bahwa persentase penderita tekanan darah tinggi, penyakit jantung, depresi dan stress tidak begitu banyak menyerang mereka yang konsisten dengan ritual ibadahnya.
Dengan sholat yang khusyu’ dapat dipastikan kekhawatiran dalam diri akan hilang. Maka benarlah apa yang disabdakan Rasulullah : “Lapangkanlah diri kami dengan shalat wahai Bilal”. yakni ajakan Rasulullah agar bilal mengumandangkan adzan agar Beliau dan sahabat melakukan sholat untuk bermunajat dan menenangkan hati kepada-Nya
2. Manfaat Sholat untuk kelancaran sistem peredaran darah dan terapi penyakit jantung
Penelitian kedokteran mengungkapkan bahwa kasus tersumbatnya peredaran darah yang berimbas pada terhambatnya fungsi paru-paru dan kasus tersumbatnya peredaran darah di kaki bukanlah termasuk kasus yang dialami oleh kaum muslimin yang disiplin melakukan sholat. Kasus ini umumnya banyak dialami oleh penderita degan persentase 5 dari seribu orang non muslim pasca bedah. Kenapa, karena kajian kedokteran mengungkapkan bahwa gerakan ruku’ dan sujud dalam waktu yang lama mampu menstabilkan detak jantung, sehingga peredaran darah berjalan lancar serta meminimalisir tekanan darah tinggi secara akut di kepala. 7. Manfaat Istinsyaag
Istinsyaaq adalah membersihkan lubang hidung dengan cara menyedot air pada lubang hidung lalu menyemburkannya kembali. Sekelompok peneliti dari Fakultas Kedokteran di Iskandariyah Mesir, bekerja sama dengan kelompok peneliti kesehatan dan obat-obatan melakukan penelitian untuk mengungkap hubungan antara ilmu pengetahuan dan aktivitas berwudhu. Jadi, Istinsyaaq adalah solusi dan terapi terbaik karena dilakukan berulang-ulang ketika akan sholat
8. Kedhasyatan sholat tahajjud dan subuh (yang tepat waktu)
Melalui berbagai penelitian, percobaan dan kajian, sebuah fakta ilmiah mengungkapkan bahwa seseorang yang tidurnya dalam waktu yang sangat lama akan sangat mudah terserang penyakit jantung. Hal ini dikarenakan lemak yang ada dalam darah menempel pada dinding syaraf di sekitar jantung. Para ulama dan ilmuwan modern banyak menganjurkan agar setiap manusia bangun dari tidurnya setelah 4 jam, kemudian melakukan gerakan tubuh ataupun melakukan kegiatan yang membutuhkan otot selama 1/4 jam. Hal ini berguna untuk menghindari bahaya serangan jantung dan menjaga vitalitas tubuh, khususnya jantung karena menghindarinya dari timbunan lemak.
Jadi ajaran Islam telah mendahului temuan modern dalam mengungkapkan fenomena di atas untuk kemudian menyarankan suatu manajemen kesehatan tubuh yang indah, yakni dengan menganjurkan setiap individu untuk bisa bangun melakukan sholat tahajud pada 1/3 malam terakhir dan dilanjutkan dengan sholat subuh.
Diriwayatkan Ali, Rasulullah Saw bersabda, ” Dalam surga terdapat suatu ruangan yang dari luar bisa terlihat dalamnya dan dari dalam bisa dilihat luarnya”. Lalu seorang Arab bertanya.” Diperuntukkan untuk siapakah tempat itu, wahai Rasulullah?” Rasulullah menjawab, ” Bagi siapa saja yang memiliki ucapan yang baik, memberikan makan kepada orang yang membutuhkan, konsisten melaksanakan puasa dan melaksanakan sholat demi mengharapkan ridha-Nya ketika orang lain sedang tertidur.” (HR Ahmad)
Dan Pahamkah sekarang sahabat, salah satu tambahan kalimat dalam adzan sholat subuh:
“Ash-shalaatu Khairun minan naum”
Melakukan sholat subuh tepat waktu adalah lebih baik daripada tidur
