Subhanallah, Banyak kisah menakjubkan tentang batu di masa Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam, tapi beliau maupun sahabat tidak menjadikan ajimat maupun benda sakti seperti kisah-kisah berikut ini :
1. Batu Hajar Aswad.
Seluruh umat Islam sepakat bahwa Hajar Aswad adalah batu yang paling mulia dari segala batu. Tapi tidak ada seorangpun dari para sahabat yang menganggap sakti, apalagi minta kesembuhan kepadanya. Oleh sebab itu Amirul Mukminin Umar bin Khatâb Radhiyallahu anhu saat menciumnya di hadapan para kaum Muslimin, beliau berkata:
“إِنِّيْ أَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ حَجَرٌ لاَ تَضُرُّ وَلاَ تَنْفَعُ وَلَوْلاَ أَنِّيْ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيْ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ سَلَّمَ يُقَبِّلُكِ مَا قَبَّلْتُكِ”. رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيْ
“Sesungguhnya aku mengetahui bahwa engkau adalah batu yang tidak memiliki mudharat dan tidak pula memberikan manfaat. Jika seandainya aku tidak melihat Nabi Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam menciummu, tentu aku tidak akan menciummu”[HR Bukhari]
Hukum mencium Hajar Aswad hanya sekedar mengikuti sunnah Rasul Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam, sebagaimana yang disebutkan oleh sahabat Umar Radhiyallahu anhu. Tidak sebagaimana yang diyakini oleh kebanyakan orang-orang yang berebutan untuk menciumnya, bahwa Hajar Aswad dapat menyembuhkan penyakit, memurahkan rezki, dan dugaan-dugaan khurafat lainnya.
2. Kisah Batu Yang Memberi Salam Kepada Nabi Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam .
Semasa Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam masih di Mekah sebelum diangkat menjadi nabi; ada batu yang memberi salam kepada Nabi Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam . Beliau masih mengetahui batu tersebut, tetapi beliau maupun para sahabat tidak pernah memungutnya atau membawanya pulang untuk dijadikan penangkal atau alat terapi jika beliau sakit.
Sebagaimana disebutkan dalam hadits berikut:
عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: “إِنِّيْ َلأَعْرِفُ حَجَرًا بِمَكَّةَ كَانَ يُسَلِّمُ عَلَيَّ قَبْلَ أَنْ أُبْعَثَ إِنِّيْ َلأَعْرِفُهُ الآنَ”. رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ
Dari sahabat Jabîr bin Samrah, ia berkata bahwa Rasulullâh Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam telah bersabda: “Sesungguhnya aku mengetahui sebuah batu di Mekah memberi salam kepadaku sebelum aku diangkat menjadi nabi. Sesungguhnya aku mengetahuinya sampai sekarang” [HR. Muslim]
3. Kisah Pohon Yang Berjalan Kepada Nabi Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam .
Sebagaimana yang diriwayatkan dalam hadits berikut:
عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ مُرَّةَ الثَّقَفِيْ قَالَ: بَيْنَا نَحْنُ نَسِيْرُ مَعَهُ النَّبِيُ فَنَـزَلْنَا مَنْـِزلاً فَناَمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَجَاءَتْ شَجَرَةٌ تَشُقُّ اْلأَرْضَ حَتَّى غَشِيَتْهُ ثُمَّ رَجَعَتْ إِلَى مَكَانِهَا فَلَمَّا اسْتَيْقَظَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَكَرَتْ لَهُ فَقَالَ هِيَ شَجَرَةٌ اسْتَأْذَنَتْ رَبَّهَا عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَنْ تُسَلِّمَ عَلَى رَسُوْلِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَذِنَ لَهَا …)). رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالْبَغَوِيْ فِيْ شَرْحِ السُّنَّةِ. وَقَالَ الشَّيْخُ اْلألْبَانِيْ: صَحِيْحٌ لِشَوَاهِدِهِ [7].
Dari Ya’la bin Murrah ats-Tsaqafy, ia berkata: “Ketika kami bersama Nabi Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam dalam suatu perjalanan, kami berhenti di suatu tempat, lalu Nabi Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam tidur. Tiba-tiba datang sebatang pohon berjalan membelah bumi sampai menaungi Nabi Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam . Kemudian ia kembali lagi ke tempatnya semula. Tatkala Rasulullâh Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bangun, aku sebutkan hal tersebut kepada beliau. Beliau berkata: ”Ia adalah pohon yang meminta izin pada tuhannya untuk memberi salam padaku, lalu Allah Azza wa Jalla mengizinkannya“. [8]
Nabi dan para shahabat tidak mengkeramatkan pohon tersebut sebagaimana kebiasaan orang-orang terhadap pohon-pohon yang biasa mereka anggap sakti, padahal pohon tersebut tidak memiliki keluarbiasaan. Hanya karena sudah berumur ratusan tahun, tidak tumbang ditiup kangin kencang, maka seolah-olah sering terdengar suara-suara ghaib di situ. Atau berbagai kepercayaan khurafat lainnya yang mereka buat-buat sendiri. Mereka tidak mengetahui bahwa suara ghaib itu bisa suara jin yang tinggal di atas pohon itu.
4. Kisah Batu Khandak.
Berkata Amru bin ‘Auf: Rasulullâh Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam menggariskan kepada kami khandak (parit yang dalam) pada waktu perang Ahzâb. Lalu ditemukan sebuah batu besar putih yang bulat. Batu tersebut tidak bisa dihancurkan bahkan membuat alat-alat kami patah. Maka kami menyebutkan kepada Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam . Lalu Rasulullâh n menggambil linggis dari Salmân Al Fârisi dan beliau memukul batu tersebut dengan sekali pukul. Maka, batu tersebut terbelah dan mengeluarkan cahaya yang menyinari kota Madinah, bagaikan sinar lampu di malam hari yang gelap gulita. Lalu Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bertakbir dan kaum Muslimin pun ikut bertakbîr. Kemudian dipukul lagi untuk yang kedua kali, maka batu tersebut terbelah dan mengeluarkan cahaya yang menyinari kota Madinah. Lalu Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bertakbir dan kaum Muslimin pun ikut bertakbîr. Maka Rasulullâh memukul lagi untuk yang ketiga kali, maka batu tersebut terbelah hancur dan mengeluarkan cahaya yang menyinari kota Madinah. Lalu Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bertakbir dan kaum Muslimin pun ikut bertakbir [3].
Para sahabat tidak menganggap sakti batu itu, atau menjadikannya sebagai ajimat, penangkal dan sebagainya.
5. Ka’bah Dan Maqâm Ibrâhîm.
Banyak anggapan dari sebagian orang-orang yang pergi haji dan umrah, bahwa Ka’bah dan Maqâm Ibrâhîm memililki berbagai kesaktian, sehingga mereka mengusab-usab bangunan Ka’bah dan Maqâm Ibrâhîm dengan tangan dan kain mereka. Padahal tidak ada anjuran dalam agama tentang perbuatan tersebut. Apalagi meyakini dapat memberikan berbagai keistimewaan kepada manusia.
Syaikh al-’Utsaimin rahimahullah berkata: “Amat disayangkan, sebagian orang menjadikan segala ibadahnya hanya untuk bertabarruk (mencari berkah) semata. Seperti apa yang terlihat bahwa sebagian manusia mengusap rukun (tiang) yamani lalu mengusapkan ke muka atau dada. Artinya mereka menjadikan mengusap rukun yamani sebagai tabarruk bukan untuk berta’abud (beribadah). Ini adalah sebuah kebodohan” [4]. Lalu beliau menukil ungkapan Amîrul Mukminîn Umar bin Khatab yang kita sebutkan di atas.
Tidak dipungkiri bahwa Ka’bah atau Masjidil haram memiliki berkah. Tetapi mengambil berkah bukan dengan mengusap-ngusap dinding masjid atau Ka’bah. Tetapi beribadah pada tempat tersebut sesuai dengan ketentuan agama, seperti shalat, i’tikaf, tawaf, atau berhaji dan umrah.
Demikian pula tentang kisah pohon kayu di masa Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam , beliau maupun para sahabat tidak menjadikannya sebagai tempat sakti yang dapat menyembuhkan penyakit, seperti kisah-kisah berikut ini:
6. Kisah pohon yang merunduk ketika Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam berhenti dalam perjalanan beliau ke Syam bersama paman beliau.
Para ulama sîrah (sejarah nabi) menyebutkan bahwa saat Nabi Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam dalam perjalanan ke negeri Syam bersama paman beliau Abi Thâlib, beliau selalu dinaungi awan. Ketika berhenti di sebuah tempat di negeri itu, di dekat rumah seorang Rahib (pendeta), beliau Shallallahu ’alaihi wa sallam disuruh paman beliau untuk menunggu barang dagangannya di pinggir jalan. Tiba-tiba Rahib itu melihat sebatang pohon merunduk ke arah Nabi Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam dan menaunginya dari panas terik matahari. Saat melihat hal tersebut, Rahib berkata dalam hatinya: ”Sesungguhnya ini tidaklah terjadi kecuali pada seorang Nabi.” Lalu Rahib itu mengajak mampir ke rumahnya, dan menyuruh Abu Thâlib membawa Nabi Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam cepat-cepat pulang ke Mekah. Ia berkata: ”Anak ini akan memiliki kemulian, jika orang-orang Yahudi mengetahuinya maka mereka akan membunuhnya.” Rahib itu mengetahui hal itu dari kitab Taurât dan Injîl yang dimilikinya [5].
Demikian kisah tersebut. Namun, Nabi Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam dan para sahabat tidak menganggap pohon itu keramat atau sakti.
7. Pohon Hudaibiyah.
Allah Azza wa Jallaberfirman dalam al-Qur’an:
لَقَدْ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِذْ يُبَايِعُونَكَ تَحْتَ الشَّجَرَةِ فَعَلِمَ مَا فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ فَأَنْزَلَ السَّكِينَةَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَثَابَهُمْ فَتْحًا قَرِيبًا
“Sesungguhnya Allah Azza wa Jallatelah ridha terhadap orang-orang Mukmin ketika mereka berjanji setia kepadamu di bawah pohon. Maka Allah Azza wa Jallamengetahui apa yang ada dalam hati mereka, lalu menurunkan ketenangan atas mereka dan memberi balasan kepada mereka dengan kemenangan yang dekat (waktunya)”.[al-Fath/48:18]
Tatkala Amîrul Mukminîn Umar bin Khatâb melihat sebagian orang mendatangi tempat tersebut dan shalat di situ, beliau menebang pohon tersebut untuk menentang perbuatan syirik[6].
8. Kisah Tangis Tiang Masjid Dari Batang Korma.
عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا خَطَبَ يَسْتَنِدُ إِلَىْ جِذْعِ نَخْلَةٍ مِنَ سِوَارِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَلَمَّا صُنِعَ الْمِنْبَرُ وَاسْتَوَى عَلَيْهِ اضْطَرَّبَتْ تِلْكَ السَّارِيَةُ كَحَنِيْنِ النَّاقَةِ حَتَّى سَمِعَهَا أَهْلُ الْمَسْجِدِ حَتَّى نَزَلَ إِلَيْهَا رَسُوْلُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاعْتَنَقَهَا فَسَكَتَتْ . رَوَاهُ النَّسَائِيْ وَصَحَّحَهُ الشَّيْخُ اْلأَلْبَانِيْ
“Dari Jâbir bin Abdillâh ia berkata: “Jika Rasulullâh berkhutbah beliau bersandar kepada batang kurma di salah satu tiang masjid. Tatkala mimbar telah dibuat dan beliau duduk di atasnya, tiang tersebut menangis bagaikan rintihan seekor onta, semua orang yang ada dalam masjid mendengarnya. Lalu Rasulullâh turun dan mengusapnya, barulah ia diam”.
Dalam hadits ini disebutkan bahwa tiang tersebut sedih karena tidak lagi menjadi sandaran Nabi Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam . Suara tersebut terdengar oleh Nabi Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam beserta para sahabat. Lalu Nabi Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam mengusap tiang itu, agar berhenti dari kesedihannya; bukan karena untuk mencari berkah. Sebagaimana saat musim haji, betapa banyaknya orang yang mengusap-ngusap dan berebut untuk shalat dekat tiang tempat mu’adzin mengumadangkan azan di masjid Nabawi.
9. Kisah Onta Yang Berbicara Kepada Nabi Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam .
Sebagaimana diriwayatkan dalam hadits berikut:
عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ مُرَّةَ الثَّقَفِيْ قَالَ بَيْناَ نَحْنُ نَسِيْرُ مَعَ النَّبِيْ إِذْ مَرَرْنَا بِبَعِيْرٍ يُسْنَى عَلَيْهِ فَلَمَّا رَآه ُالْبَعِيْرُ جَرْجَرَ فَوَضَعَ جِرَانَهَ فَوَقَفَ عَلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ أَيْنَ صَاحِبُ هَذَا اْلبَعِيْرِ فَجاَءَهُ فَقَالَ بِعْنِيْهِ فَقَالَ بَلْ نَهِبُهُ لَكَ يَارَسُوْلَ اللهِ وَإِنَّهُ ِلأَهْلِ بَيْتٍ مَا لَهُمْ مَعِيْشَةٌ غَيْرَهُ قَالَ أَمَّا إِذَا ذُكِرَتْ هَذَا مِنْ أَمْرِهِ فَإِنَّهُ شَكَا كَثْرَةَ الْعَمَلِ وَقِلَّةَ الْعَلَفِ فَأَحْسِنُوْا ِإَليْهِ…)).
Dari Ya’la bin Murrah Ats Tsaqafy, ia berkata: ”Ketika kami bersama Nabi Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam dalam suatu perjalanan. Kami melewati seekor onta yang sedang diberi minum. Tatkala onta tersebut melihat Nabi Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam, ia mengeluh dan meletakkan lehernya. Lalu Nabi Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam berdiri dekatnya dan bertanya: ”Mana pemilik onta ini?” Lalu datanglah pemiliknya, dan Nabi Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam berkata: ”Juallah ia padaku!” Lalu pemiliknya menjawab: ”Kami hadiahkan padamu ya Rasulullâh. Ia adalah milik keluarga yang tidak memiliki mata pencaharian selain onta ini.” Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam berkata:“Sesungguhnya ia telah mengadukan tentang banyak bekerja dan kekurangan makanan, maka berbuat baiklah kamu kepadanya”.
Onta tersebut tidak pernah disaktikan oleh pemiliknya, atau diambil kotorannya untuk penangkal atau pelaris dagangan, apalagi dianggap sebagai wali/syaikh.
Dengan memperhatikan contoh-contoh di atas, sangat nyata perbedaannya dengan sebagian manusia abad modern dewasa ini. Meskipun disebut manusia modern, namun mereka mengangap sakti berbagai macam barang seperti, keris, batu, pohon tua, kuburan, sungai atau laut. Termasuk perabot rumah tangga, peningalan kuno, binatang ternak, batu kali, kayu di hutan, bahkan kuburan sekalipun.
Demikian juga seandainya contoh-contoh di atas terjadi di zaman sekarang, tidak bisa dibayangkan akibatnya. Sebagian besar orang yang menyaksikan tentu akan mengkeramatkan batu, pohon atau binatang itu dan menjadikannya sebagai tempat berundi nasib, menyembuhkan penyakit, mencari jodoh, dan seterusnya.
Dan seandainya peristiwa-peristiwa itu terjadi di hadapan orang-orang yang mengidap penyakit “TBK” (tahyul, bid’ah dan khurafat), sangat mungkin mereka akan melakukan pemujaan atau penyembahan
Maka sungguh amat mengherankan dan menyedihkan kita, jika baru-baru ini, hanya sebuah batu kecil milik seorang bocah cilik dapat melindas tauhid sebagian umat ini.
