Sore kemarin – Selasa, 06 Maret 2012 – saya pulang kantor rada “tenggo”, jadi sampai di rumah jam 17.30-an, saya sempat nonton acara “Orang-Orang Pinggiran” di Trans7. Dada saya sesak menyaksikannya, air mata saya meleleh tanpa bisa ditahan, tak mampu berkata-kata. Siti, seorang bocah yatim yang ditinggal mati ayahnya sejak usia 2 tahun. Kini Siti berumur 7 tahun. Sehari-hari sepulang sekolah Siti masih harus berkeliling kampung menjajakan bakso. Karena ia masih anak-anak, tentu belum bisa mendorong rombong bakso. Jadi bakso dan kuahnya dimasukkan dalam termos nasi yang sebenarnya terlalu besar untuk anak seusianya. Termos seukuran itu berisi kuah tentu sangat berat.
Tangan kanan menenteng termos, tangan kiri menenteng ember plastik hitam berisi mangkok-mangkok, sendok kuah, dan peralatan lain. Dengan terseok-seok menenteng beban seberat itu, Siti harus berjalan keluar masuk kampung, terkadang jalanannya menanjak naik. Kalau ada pembeli, Siti akan meracik baksonya di mangkok yang diletakkan di lantai. Maklum ia tak punya meja. Terkadang jika ada anak yang membeli baksonya, Siti ingin bisa ikut mencicipi. Tapi ia terpaksa hanya menelan ludah, menahan keinginan itu. Setelah 4 jam berkeliling, ia mendapat upah 2000 perak saja! Kalau baksonya tak habis, upahnya hanya Rp. 1000,- saja. Lembaran seribuan lusuh berkali-kali digulung-gulungnya.
Sampai di rumah, Siti tak mendapati siapapun. Ibunya jadi buruh mencangkul lumpur di sawah milik orang lain. Tak setiap hari ia mendapat upah uang tunai. Terkadang ia hanya dijanjikan jika kelak panenan berhasil ia akan mendapatkan bagi hasilnya. Setiap hari kaki Ibunda Siti berlumur lumpur sampai setinggi paha. Ia hanya bisa berharap kelak panenan benar-benar berhasil agar bisa mendapat bayaran.
Hari itu Siti ingin bisa makan kangkung. Ia pergi ke rumah tetangganya, mengetuk pintu dan meminta ijin agar boleh mengambil kangkung. Meski sebenarnya Siti bisa saja langsung memetiknya, tapi ia selalu ingat pesan Ibunya untuk selalu minta ijin dulu pada pemiliknya. Setelah diijinkan, Siti langsung berkubang di empang untuk memetik kangkung, sebatas kebutuhannya bersama Ibunya. Petang hari Ibunya pulang. Siti menyerahkan 2000 perak yang didapatnya. Ia bangga bisa membantu Ibunya. Lalu Ibunya memasak kangkung hanya dengan garam. Berdua mereka makan di atas piring seng tua, sepiring nasi tak penuh sepiring, dimakan berdua hanya dengan kangkung dan garam. Bahkan ikan asin pun tak terbeli, kata Ibunda Siti.
Bayangkan, anak sekecil itu, pulang sekolah menenteng beban berat keliling kampung, tiba di rumah tak ada makanan. Kondisi rumahnya pun hanya sepetak ruangan berdinding kayu lapuk, atapnya bocor sana-sini. Sama sekali tak layak disebut rumah. Dengan kondisi kelelahan, dia kesepian sendiri menunggu Ibunya pulang hingga petang hari.
Sering Siti mengatakan dirinya kangen ayahnya. Ketika anak-anak lain di kampung mendapat kiriman uang dari ayah mereka yang bekerja di kota, Siti suka bertanya kapan ia dapat kiriman. Tapi kini Siti sudah paham bahwa ayahnya sudah wafat. Ia sering mengajak Ibunya ke makam ayahnya, berdoa disana. Makam ayahnya tak bernisan, tak ada uang pembeli nisan. Hanya sebatang kelapa penanda itu makam ayah Siti. Dengan rajin Siti menyapu sampah yang nyaris menutupi makam ayahnya. Disanalah Siti bersama Ibunya sering menangis sembari memanjatkan doa. Dalam doanya Siti selalu memohon agar dberi kesehatan supaya bisa tetap sekolah dan mengaji. Keinginan Siti sederhana saja : bisa beli sepatu dan tas untuk dipakai sekolah sebab miliknya sudah rusak.
Kepikiran dengan konsidi Siti, dini hari terbangun dari tidur saya buka internet dan search situs Trans7 khususnya acara Orang-Orang Pinggiran. Akhirnya saya dapatkan alamat Siti di Kampung Cipendeuy, Desa Cibereum, Cilangkahan, Banten dan nomor contact person Pak Tono 0858 1378 8136.
Usai sholat Subuh saya hubungi Pak Tono, meski agak sulit bisa tersambung. Beliau tinggal sekitar 50 km jauhnya dari kampung Siti. Pak Tono-lah yang menghubungi Trans7 agar mengangkat kisah hidup Siti di acara OOP. Menurut keterangan Pak Tono, keluarga itu memang sangat miskin, Ibunda Siti tak punya KTP. Pantas saja dia tak terjangkau bantuan resmi Pemerintah yang selalu mengedepankan persyaratan legalitas formal ketimbang fakta kemiskinan itu sendiri. Pak Tono bersedia menjemput saya di Malimping, lalu bersama-sama menuju rumah Siti, jika kita mau memberikan bantuan. Pak Tono berpesan jangan bawa mobil sedan sebab tak bakal bisa masuk dengan medan jalan yang berat.
Saya pun lalu menghubungi Rumah Zakat kota Cilegon. Saya meminta pihak Rumah Zakat sebagai aksi “tanggap darurat” agar bisa menyalurkan kornet Super Qurban agar Siti dan Ibunya bisa makan daging, setidaknya menyelematkan mereka dari ancaman gizi buruk. Dari obrolan saya dengan Pengurus Rumah Zakat, saya sampaikan keinginan saya untuk memberi Siti dan Ibunya “kail”. Memberi “ikan” untuk tahap awal boleh-boleh saja, tapi memberdayakan Ibunda Siti agar bisa mandiri secara ekonomi tentunya akan lebih bermanfaat untuk jangka panjang. Saya berpikir alangkah baiknya memberi modal pada Ibunda Siti untuk berjualan makanan dan buka warung bakso, agar kedua ibu dan anak itu tidak terpisah seharian. Siti juga tak perlu berlelah-lelah seharian, dia bisa bantu Ibunya berjualan sambil belajar.
Mengingat untuk memberi “kail” tentu butuh dana tak sedikit, pagi ini saya menulis kisah Siti dan memforward ke grup-grup BBM yang ada di kontak BB saya. Juga melalui Facebook. Alhamdulillah sudah ada beberapa respon positif dari beberapa teman saya. Bahkan ada yang sudah tak sabar ingin segera diajak ke Malimping untuk menemui Siti dan memeluknya. Bukan hanya bantuan berupa uang yang saya kumpulkan, tapi jika ada teman-teman yang punya putri berusia 7-8 tahun, biasanya bajunya cepat sesak meski masih bagus, alangkah bermanfaat kalau diberikan pada Siti.
Adapula teman yang menawarkan jadi orang tua asuh Siti dan mengajak Siti dan Ibunya tinggal di rumahnya. Semua itu akan saya sampaikan kepada Pak Tono dan Ibunda Siti kalau saya bertemu nanti. Saya menulis artikel ini bukan ingin menjadikan Siti seperti Darsem, TKW yang jadi milyarder mendadak dan kemudian bermewah-mewah dengan uang sumbangan donatur pemirsa TV sehingga pemirsa akhirnya mensomasi Darsem. Jika permasalahan Siti telah teratasi kelak, uang yang terkumpul akan saya minta kepada Rumah Zakat untuk disalurkan kepada Siti-Siti lain yang saya yakin jumlahnya ada beberapa di sekitar kampung Siti.
Mengetuk hati penguasa formal, mungkin sudah tak banyak membantu. Saya menulis shout kepada Ibu Atut sebagai “Ratu” penguasa Banten ketika kejadian jembatan ala Indiana Jones terekspose, tapi toh tak ada respon. Di media massa juga tak ada tanggapan dari Gubernur Banten meski kisah itu sudah masuk pemberitaan media massa internasional. Tapi dengan melalui grup BBM, Facebook dan Kompasiana, saya yakin masih ada orang-rang yang terketuk hatinya untuk berbagi dan menolong.
