Tiga Nasehat
Rasulullah SAW pernah memberikan tiga buah nasehat kepada kedua sehabatnya Abu Dzar Jundub bin Junadah dan Abu Abdurrahman bin Jabal:
“Bertakwalah kamu kepada Allah dimanapun kamu berada, dan ikutilah kesalahanmu dengan kebaikan niscaya ia dapat menghapuskannya. Dan pergaulilah manusia dengan akhlak terpuji.” HR. Tirmidzi
Tiga pesan Rasulullah SAW tersebut layak untuk kita perhatikan karena sangat berkaitan erat dengan kehidupan kita sehari-hari.
1- BERTAQWA DIMANA SAJA
Definisi dari kata taqwa dapat dilihat dari percakapan antara sahabat Umar dan Ubay bin Ka’ab ra. Suatu ketika sahabat Umar ra bertanya kepada Ubay bin Ka’ab apakah taqwa itu? Dia menjawab; “Pernahkah kamu melalui jalan berduri?” Umar menjawab; “Pernah!” Ubay menyambung, “Lalu apa yang kamu lakukan?” Umar menjawab; “Aku berhati-hati, waspada dan penuh keseriusan.” Maka Ubay berkata; “Maka demikian pulalah taqwa!”
Sedang menurut Sayyid Qutub dalam tafsirnya—Fi Zhilal al-Qur`an—taqwa adalah kepekaan hati, kehalusan perasaan, rasa khawatir yang terus menerus dan hati-hati terhadap semua duri atau halangan dalam kehidupan.
Kalau ada suatu iklan minuman ringan: “Dimana saja dan kapan saja …”, maka nasehat Nabi SAW ini menunjukkan bahwa kita harus bertaqwa dimana saja. Sedang perintah taqwa kapan saja terdapat dalam surat Ali Imron 102:
“Hai orang-orang yang beriman, bertakwalah kepada Allah sebenar-benar takwa kepada-Nya; dan janganlah sekali-kali kamu mati melainkan dalam keadaan beragama Islam”
Jadi dimanapun dan kapanpun kita harus menjaga ketaqwaan kita. Taqwa dimana saja memang sulit untuk dilakukan dan harus usaha yang dilakukan harus ekstra keras. Akan sangat mudah ketaqwaan itu diraih ketika kita bersama orang lain, tetapi bila tidak ada orang lain maka maksiyat dapat dilaksanakan. Sebagai contoh, ketika kita berkumpul di dalam suatu majelis zikir, pikiran dan pandangan kita akan terjaga dengan baik. Tetapi ketika kita berjalan sendirian di suatu tempat perbelanjaan, maka pikiran dan pandangan kita bisa tidak terjaga. Untuk menjaga ketaqwaan kita dimanapun saja, maka perlunya kita menyadari akan pengawasan Allah SWT baik secara langsung maupun melalui malaikat-Nya.
2 KEBAIKAN YANG MENGHAPUSKAN KESALAHAN
Setiap orang selalu melakukan kesalahan. Hari ini mungkin kita sudah melakukan kesalahan baik yang kita sadari maupun yang tidak kita sadari. Oleh sebab itu, segera setelah kita melaksanakan kesalahan, lakukan kebaikan. Kebaikan tersebut dapat menghapuskan kesalahan yang telah dilakukan.
Untuk dosa yang merugikan diri sendiri, maka salah satu cara untuk menghapusnya adalah dengan bersedekah. Rasulullah SAW bersabda “sedekah itu menghapus kesalahan sebagaimana air memadamkan api”. Maka ada orang yang ketika dia sakit maka dia akan memberikan sedekah agar penyakitnya segera sembuh. Hal ini dikarenakan segala penyakit yang kita miliki itu adalah karena kesalahan yang kita pernah lakukan.
Sedang dosa yang dilakukan terhadap orang lain maka yang perlu dilakukan adalah memohon maaf yang bagi beberapa orang sangat sulit untuk dilakukan. Padahal Rasulullah SAW selalu minta maaf ketika bersalah bahkan terhadap Ibnu Ummi Maktum beliau memeluknya dengan hangat seraya berkata “Inilah orangnya, yang membuat aku ditegur oleh Allah… (QS. Abasa)”. Setelah minta maaf kemudian bawalah sesuatu hadiah atau makanan kepada orang tersebut, maka kesalahan tersebut insya Allah akan dihapuskan.
3- AKHLAQ YANG TERPUJI
Akhlaq terpuji adalah keharusan dari setiap muslim. Tidak memiliki akhlaq tersebut akan dapat mendekatkan seseorang dalam siksaan api neraka. Dari beberapa jenis akhlaq kita terhadap orang lain, yang perlu diperhatikan adalah akhlaq terhadap tetangga.
“Barang siapa yang beriman kepada Allah dan hari akhir maka jangan menyakiti tetangganya.” (HR. Bukhari, Muslim dan Ibnu Majah)
Dari Abu Syuraih ra, bahwa Nabi Muhammad saw bersabda: “Demi Allah seseorang tidak beriman, Demi Allah seseorang tidak beriman, Demi Allah seseorang tidak beriman.” Ada yang bertanya: “Siapa itu Ya Rasulullah?” Jawab Nabi: “Yaitu orang yang tetangganya tidak aman dari gangguannya.” (HR. Bukhari)
Dari hadits tersebut, peringatan Allah sangat keras sampai diulangi tiga kali yaitu tidak termasuk golongan orang beriman bagi tetangganya yang tidak aman dari gangguannya. Maka terkadang kita perlu instropeksi dengan menanyakan kepada tetangga apakah kita mengganggu mereka.
