Hanya karena pernikahan belum datang kepada Anda itu bukan berarti bahwa masa muda Anda – atau seluruh hidup Anda – terbuang. Jika Anda menyesal kehilangan waktu dalam menunggu pasangan, baliklah keadaan itu dengan mendedikasikan hari-hari sendiri Anda untuk ketaatan kepada Allah.
Dengan cara ini Anda tidak akan merasa sedih atau menyesal kehilangan hari-hari indah tersebut. Bahkan, jika Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala bersama dengan Anda setiap hari, apa yang sia-sia? Bukankah Allah telah berjanji akan memberikan naungan-Nya pada hari kiamat bagi para pemuda yang mendedikasikan hidupnya kepada Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala?
2. Memulai sebuah proyek mulia
Masa muda hanya datang sekali. Apakah Anda benar-benar membiarkan masa itu lenyap hanya karena Anda menghabiskannya untuk meratapi nasib, ataukah Anda lebih suka melakukan sesuatu yang produktif demi Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala? Sekali lagi, baliklah situasi di atas dan mulailah sebuah proyek yang luar biasa. Biarkan proyek ini menjadi salah satu yang menguntungkanmu di dunia dan di akhirat. Mungkin Anda bisa memulai dari sebuah hobby Anda, dan kemudian mengembangkannya menjadi sesuatu yang luar biasa. Saya yakin Anda dapat memikirkan lebih banyak ide!
3. Jangan pedulikan apa yang orang lain katakan. Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala Maha Pelindung dan Maha Pemelihara.
Saya tahu bahwa tekanan keluarga cenderung membuat hidup Anda tidak bahagia. Tidak mudah untuk hidup bersama dengan sanak keluarga yang cenderung berfikir negatif tentang perempuan yang belum menikah di kala usia yang terus merambah dan tidak bisa dicegah. Tapi tetaplah fokus pada apa yang Anda miliki, bukan pada apa yang Anda tidak memiliki, dan bukan pada pendapat orang lain tentang Anda. Saya tahu kata-kata mereka sampai ke Anda dengan cara yang menyakitkan dan Anda tidak dapat berbuat apa-apa untuk tidak terpengaruh oleh kata-kata tersebut. Akan tetapi membiarkan diri Anda marah dan sedih adalah sesuatu yang sia-sia, menguras waktu dan energi. Jadikan kata-kata mereka untuk membuat dirimu maju dan terus melanjutkan hidup.
Ingatlah bahwa perasaan sakit hati hanyalah kondisi pikiran. Cobalah untuk tidak melibatkan diri dalam argumen yang terkait dengan masalah yang sedang Anda alami. Hindarkan diri Anda dari perkumpulan orang-orang yang berfikir negatif tentang perempuan yang terlambat menikah. Menjadilah lebih bijaksana dan keluarlah dari situasi yang tidak nyaman dengan sopan. Dan jika Anda merasa terbebani, berdoalah kepada Allah agar selalu diberi kekuatan, ketabahan dan terhindar dari fitnah.

Kita semua istimewa, saudariku! Kita diciptakan dengan suatu tujuan. Sejujurnya, tidak ada yang salah dengan wajah Anda, pikiran Anda, hijab Anda, atau hidung Anda. Hidup kita,meskipun kadang-kadang penuh dengan saat-saat yang tidak begitu menyenangkan, itu semua merupakan karunia dari Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala yang patut kita syukuri. Kita akan selalu diuji. Akan ada air mata, tetapi juga akan ada tawa dan kasih. Anda memiliki hak untuk menjalani hidup Anda yang Anda inginkan. Pernikahan bukanlah sesuatu yangbisa dipaksa. Yakinlah terhadap rencana Allah, dan tetaplah tegar!
5. Manfaatkan masa muda untuk belajar
Manfaatkan waktu dan masa luang yang Anda miliki untuk terus belajar. Anda bisa mengikuti kursus bahasa, keterampilan, mengasah skill yang Anda miliki sekarang, atau bahkan meraih gelar yang lebih tinggi. Ini adalah kesempatan yang tidak akan mudah Anda peroleh jika Anda sudah menikah. Tetaplah tersenyum, hapuslah segala duka dan janganlah menyalahkan takdir bahwa Allah tidak sayang kepada Anda. Menjadi perempuan yang masih berstatus single bukanlah penyakit menular sehingga Anda harus merasa minder. Menjadi single woman bukanlah aib sehingga Anda harus menarik diri dari pergaulan. menjadi single woman bukanlah hukuman sehingga Anda harus menghabiskan waktu Anda untuk bertanya, “apa salah saya, apa dosa saya?”
