akucintaislami.com - Pembicaraan tentang putra dan putri Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam termasuk pembicaraan yang jarang diangkat. Tidak heran, sebagian umat Islam tidak mengetahui berapa jumlah putra dan putri beliau atau siapa saja nama anak-anaknya.
Enam dari tujuh anak Rasulullah terlahir dari ummul mukminin Khadijah binti Khuwailid radhiallahu ‘anha. Rasulullah memuji Khadijah dengan sabdanya,
قَدْ آمَنَتْ بِي إِذْ كَفَرَ بِي النَّاسُ وَصَدَّقَتْنِي إِذْ كَذَّبَنِي النَّاسُ وَوَاسَتْنِي بِمَالِهَا إِذْ حَرَمَنِي النَّاسُ وَرَزَقَنِي اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَلَدَهَا إِذْ حَرَمَنِي أَوْلَادَ النِّسَاءِ
“Ia telah beriman kepadaku tatkala orang-orang kafir kepadaku, ia telah membenarkan aku tatkala orang-orang mendustakan aku, ia telah membantuku dengan hartanya tatkala orang-orang menahan hartanya tidak membantuku, dan Allah telah menganugerahkan darinya anak-anak tatkala Allah tidak menganugerahkan kepadaku anak-anak dari wanita-wanita yang lain.” (HR Ahmad no.24864)
Saat beliau mengucapkan kalimat ini, beliau belum menikah dengan Maria al-Qibtiyah.
Anak-anak Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam
Imam an-Nawawi rahimahullah berkata, “Rasulullah memiliki tiga orang putra; yang pertama Qasim, namanya menjadi kunyah Rasulullah (Abul Qashim). Qashim dilahirkan sebelum kenabian dan wafat saat berusia 2 tahun. Yang kedua Abdullah, disebut juga ath-Thayyib atau ath-Tahir karena lahir setelah kenabian. Putra yang ketiga adalah Ibrahim, dilahirkan di Madinah tahun 8 H dan wafat saat berusia 17 atau 18 bulan.
Adapun putrinya berjumlah 4 orang; Zainab yang menikah dengan Abu al-Ash bin al-Rabi’, keponakan Rasulullah dari jalur Khadijah, kemudian Fatimah menikah dengan Ali bin Abi Thalib, lalu Ruqayyah dan Ummu Qultsum menikah dengan Utsman bin Affan.
Rinciannya adalah sebagai berikut:
Putri-putri Rasulullah
Para ulama sepakat bahwa jumlah putri Rasulullah ada 4 orang, semuanya terlahir dari rahim ummul mukminin Khadijah radhiallahu ‘anha.
Pertama, putri pertama Rasulullah adalah Zainab binti Rasulullah.
Zainab radhiallahu ‘anha menikah dengan anak bibinya, Halah binti Khuwailid, yang bernama Abu al-Ash bin al-Rabi’. Pernikahan ini berlangsung sebelum sang ayah diangkat menjadi rasul. Zainab dan ketiga saudarinya masuk Islam sebagaimana ibunya Khadijah menerima Islam, akan tetapi sang suami, Abu al-Ash, tetap dalam agama jahiliyah. Hal ini menyebabkan Zainab tidak ikut hijrah ke Madinah bersama ayah dan saudari-saudarinya, karena ikatannya dengan sang suami.
Beberapa lama kemudian, barulah Zainab hijrah dari Mekah ke Madinah menyelamatkan agamanya dan berjumpa dengan sang ayah tercinta, lalu menyusullah suaminya, Abu al-Ash. Abu al-Ash pun mengucapkan dua kalimat syahadat dan memeluk agama mertua dan istrinya. Keluarga kecil yang bahagia ini pun bersatu kembali dalam Islam dan iman. Tidak lama kebahagiaan tersebut berlangsung, pada tahun 8 H, Zainab wafat meninggalkan Abu al-Ash dan putri mereka Umamah.
Setelah itu, terkadang Umamah diasuh oleh kakeknya, Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam. Sebagaimana dalam hadis disebutkan beliau menggendong cucunya, Umamah, ketika shalat, apabila beliau sujud, beliau meletakkan Umamah dari gendongannya.
Kedua, Ruqayyah binti Rasulullah.
Ruqayyah radhiallahu ‘anha dinikahkan oleh Rasulullah dengan sahabat yang mulia Utsman bin Affan radhiallahu ‘anhu. Keduanya turut serta berhijrah ke Habasyah ketika musyrikin Mekah sudah sangat keterlaluan dalam menyiksa dan menyakiti orang-orang yang beriman. Di Habasyah, pasangan yang mulia ini dianugerahi seorang putra yang dinamai Abdullah.
Ruqayyah dan Utsman juga turut serta dalam hijrah yang kedua dari Mekah menuju Madinah. Ketika tinggal di Madinah mereka dihadapkan dengan ujian wafatnya putra tunggal mereka yang sudah berusia 6 tahun.
Tidak lama kemudian, Ruqoyyah juga menderita sakit demam yang tinggi. Utsman bin Affan setia merawat istrinya dan senantiasa mengawasi keadaannya. Saat itu bersamaan dengan terjadinya Perang Badar, atas permintaan Rasulullah untuk mejaga putrinya, Utsman pun tidak bisa turut serta dalam perang ini. Wafatlah ruqayyah bersamaan dengan kedatangan Zaid bin Haritsah yang mengabarkan kemenangan umat Islam di Badar.
Ketiga, Ummu Kultsum binti Rasulullah.
Setelah Ruqayyah wafat, Rasulullah menikahkan Utsman dengan putrinya yang lain, Ummu Kultsum radhiallahu ‘anha. Oleh karena itulah Utsman dijuluki dzu nurain (pemilik dua cahaya) karena menikahi dua putri Rasulullah, sebuah keistimewaan yang tidak dimiliki sahabat lainnya.
Utsman dan Ummu Kultsum bersama-sama membangun rumah tangga hingga wafatnya Ummu Kultsum pada bulan Sya’ban tahun 9 H. Keduanya tidak dianugerahi putra ataupun putri. Ummu Kultsum dimakamkan bersebelahan dengan saudarinya Ruqayyah radhiallahu ‘anhuma.
Keempat, Fatimah binti Rasulullah.
Fatimah radhiallahu ‘anha adalah putri bungsu Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam. Ia dilahirkan lima tahun sebelum kenabian. Pada tahun kedua hijriyah, Rasulullah menikahkannya dengan Ali bin Abi Thalib radhiallahu ‘anhu. Pasangan ini dikaruniai putra pertama pada tahun ketiga hijriyah, dan anak tersebut dinamai Hasan. Kemudian anak kedua lahir pada bulan Rajab satu tahun berikutnya, dan dinamai Husein. Anak ketiga mereka, Zainab, dilahirkan pada tahun keempat hijriyah dan dua tahun berselang lahirlah putri mereka Ummu Kultsum.
Fatimah adalah anak yang paling mirip dengan Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam dari gaya bicara dan gaya berjalannya. Apabila Fatimah datang ke rumah sang ayah, ayahnya selalu menyambutnya dengan menciumnya dan duduk bersamanya. Kecintaan Rasulullah terhadap Fatimah tergambar dalam sabdanya,
فاطمة بضعة منى -جزء مِني- فمن أغضبها أغضبني” رواه البخاري
“Fatimah adalah bagian dariku. Barangsiapa membuatnya marah, maka dia juga telah membuatku marah.” (HR. Bukhari)
Beliau juga bersabda,
أفضل نساء أهل الجنة خديجة بنت خويلد، وفاطمة بنت محمد، ومريم بنت عمران، وآسية بنت مُزاحمٍ امرأة فرعون” رواه الإمام أحمد
“Sebaik-baik wanita penduduk surga adalah Khadijah binti Khuwailid, Fatimah binti Muhammad, Maryam binti Imran, Asiah bin Muzahim, istri Firaun.” (HR. Ahmad).
Satu-satunya anak Rasulullah yang hidup saat beliau wafat adalah Fatimah, kemudian ia pula keluarga Rasulullah yang pertama yang menyusul beliau. Fatimah radhiallahu ‘anha wafat enam bulan setelah sang ayah tercinta wafat meninggalkan dunia. Ia wafat pada 2 Ramadhan tahun 11 H, dan dimakamkan di Baqi’.
Putra-putra Rasulullah
Pertama, al-Qashim bin Rasulullah. Rasulullah berkunyah dengan namanya, beliau disebut Abu al-Qashim (bapaknya Qashim). Qashim lahir sebelum masa kenabian dan wafat saat usia dua tahun.
Kedua, Abdullah bin Rasulullah. Abdullah dinamai juga dengan ath-Thayyib atau ath-Thahir. Ia dilahirkan pada masa kenabian.
Ketiga, Ibrahim bin Rasulullah.
Ibrahim dilahirkan pada tahun 8 H di Kota Madinah. Dia adalah anak terakhir dari Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam, dilahirkan dari rahim Maria al-Qibthiyah radhiallahu ‘anha. Maria adalah seorang budak yang diberikan Muqauqis, penguasa Mesir, kepada Rasulullah. Lalu Maria mengucapkan syahadat dan dinikahi oleh Nabi shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam.
Usia Ibrahim tidak panjang, ia wafat pada tahun 10 H saat berusia 17 atau 18 bulan. Rasulullah sangat bersedih dengan kepergian putra kecilnya yang menjadi penyejuk hatinya ini. Ketika Ibrahim wafat, Rasulullah bersabda,
“إن العين تدمع، والقلب يحزن، ولا نقول إلا ما يُرْضِى ربنا، وإنا بفراقك يا إبراهيم لمحزونون” رواه البخاري
“Sesungguhnya mata ini menitikkan air mata dan hati ini bersedih, namun kami tidak mengatakan sesuatu yang tidak diridhai Rab kami. Sesungguhnya kami bersedih dengan kepergianmu wahai Ibrahim.” (HR. Bukhari).
Kalau kita perhatikan perjalanan hidup Rasulullah bersama anak-anaknya, niscaya kita dapati pelajaran dan hikmah yang banyak. Allah Ta’ala mengaruniakan beliau putra dan putri yang merupakan tanda kesempurnaan beliau sebagai manusia. Namun Allah juga mencoba beliau dengan mengambil satu per satu anaknya sebagaiman dahulu mengambil satu per satu orang tuanya tatkala beliau membutuhkan mereka; ayah, ibu, kakek, dan pamannya. Hanya anaknya Fatimah yang wafat setelah Nabi Muhammad shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam.
Allah juga tidak memperpanjang usia putra-putra beliau, salah satu hikmahnya adalah agar orang-orang tidak mengkultuskan putra-putranya atau mengangkatnya menjadi Nabi setelah beliau. Bisa kita lihat, cucu beliau Hasan dan Husein saja sudah membuat orang-orang yang lemah terfitnah. Mereka mengagungkan kedua cucu beliau melebih yang sepantasnya, bagaimana kiranya kalau putra-putra beliau dipanjangkan usianya dan memiliki keturunan? Tentu akan menimbulkan fitnah yang lebih besar.
Hikmah dari wafatnya putra dan putri Nabi shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam juga sebagai teladan bagi orang-orang yang kehilangan salah satu putra atau putri mereka. saat kehilangan anaknya, Nabi shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bersabar dan tidak mengucapkan perkataan yang tidak diridhai Allah. Ketika seseorang kehilangan salah satu anaknya, maka Rasulullah telah kehilangan hampir semua anaknya.

Enam dari tujuh anak Rasulullah terlahir dari ummul mukminin Khadijah binti Khuwailid radhiallahu ‘anha. Rasulullah memuji Khadijah dengan sabdanya,
قَدْ آمَنَتْ بِي إِذْ كَفَرَ بِي النَّاسُ وَصَدَّقَتْنِي إِذْ كَذَّبَنِي النَّاسُ وَوَاسَتْنِي بِمَالِهَا إِذْ حَرَمَنِي النَّاسُ وَرَزَقَنِي اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَلَدَهَا إِذْ حَرَمَنِي أَوْلَادَ النِّسَاءِ
“Ia telah beriman kepadaku tatkala orang-orang kafir kepadaku, ia telah membenarkan aku tatkala orang-orang mendustakan aku, ia telah membantuku dengan hartanya tatkala orang-orang menahan hartanya tidak membantuku, dan Allah telah menganugerahkan darinya anak-anak tatkala Allah tidak menganugerahkan kepadaku anak-anak dari wanita-wanita yang lain.” (HR Ahmad no.24864)
Saat beliau mengucapkan kalimat ini, beliau belum menikah dengan Maria al-Qibtiyah.
Anak-anak Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam
Imam an-Nawawi rahimahullah berkata, “Rasulullah memiliki tiga orang putra; yang pertama Qasim, namanya menjadi kunyah Rasulullah (Abul Qashim). Qashim dilahirkan sebelum kenabian dan wafat saat berusia 2 tahun. Yang kedua Abdullah, disebut juga ath-Thayyib atau ath-Tahir karena lahir setelah kenabian. Putra yang ketiga adalah Ibrahim, dilahirkan di Madinah tahun 8 H dan wafat saat berusia 17 atau 18 bulan.
Adapun putrinya berjumlah 4 orang; Zainab yang menikah dengan Abu al-Ash bin al-Rabi’, keponakan Rasulullah dari jalur Khadijah, kemudian Fatimah menikah dengan Ali bin Abi Thalib, lalu Ruqayyah dan Ummu Qultsum menikah dengan Utsman bin Affan.
Rinciannya adalah sebagai berikut:

Para ulama sepakat bahwa jumlah putri Rasulullah ada 4 orang, semuanya terlahir dari rahim ummul mukminin Khadijah radhiallahu ‘anha.
Pertama, putri pertama Rasulullah adalah Zainab binti Rasulullah.
Zainab radhiallahu ‘anha menikah dengan anak bibinya, Halah binti Khuwailid, yang bernama Abu al-Ash bin al-Rabi’. Pernikahan ini berlangsung sebelum sang ayah diangkat menjadi rasul. Zainab dan ketiga saudarinya masuk Islam sebagaimana ibunya Khadijah menerima Islam, akan tetapi sang suami, Abu al-Ash, tetap dalam agama jahiliyah. Hal ini menyebabkan Zainab tidak ikut hijrah ke Madinah bersama ayah dan saudari-saudarinya, karena ikatannya dengan sang suami.
