Hassan Nasrallah, pimpinan milisi Syiah Lebanon yang menyebut diri mereka Hizbullah, untuk ke sekian kalinya menegaskan dukungannya kepada rezim Suriah Basyar al-Assad yang selama dua tahun terakhir ini melancarkan perang terhadap rakyatnya sendiri dan membunuhi sekitar 100 ribu warga.

Pada Selasa 30 April kemarin, Hassan Nasrallah menyatakan dalam pidatonya di televisi, “Suriah memiliki teman-teman sejati yang tak akan membiarkannya jatuh ke tangan Amerika, Israel atau kelompok Islam radikal.”

Nasrallah juga menyatakan, kelompok oposisi “terlalu lemah” untuk menjatuhkan rezim Basyar, dan kalau para pejuang kemudian mengancam mengambil alih desa-desa di bawah rezim Suriah, “maka normal sajalah kalau (kami) kemudian menawarkan semua bantuan yang mungkin dan perlu diberikan kepada tentara Suriah.”

Sejumlah media menggambarkan pernyataan Nasrallah ini sebagai suatu sikap resmi yang baru ditunjukkan, namun bagi kalangan oposisi maupun para pejuang di lapangan serta rakyat biasa, keterlibatan milisi Syiah Lebanon yang menyebut diri mereka Hizbullah ini bukanlah sesuatu yang baru. Beberapa sumber juga membuktikan keterlibatan milisi Syiah dari negara lain sudah dimulai hanya beberapa bulan sejak pecahnya revolusi pada Maret 2011.

Wyre Davies dari BBC News 1 Mei 2013 kemarin melaporkan, “Pekan lalu kami menyaksikan sendiri betapa di sejumlah kawasan para tentara Hizbullah secara terbuka dan bebas keluar masuk perbatasan Lebanon dan Suriah (demi) memberikan bantuan dan latihan militer kepada sekutu-sekutu mereka di dalam Suriah.”

Di kota Quesir yang masuk kawasan Suriah, para anggota milisi ini semakin melibatkan diri ke dalam peperangan antara tentara Basyar yang sudah semakin kewalahan karena tingginya tingkat kematian serdadu dan banyaknya pembelotan, melawan para pejuang pembebasan Suriah, Free Syrian Army/Jaysul Hurr.

Sebagaimana diberitakan sebelumnya, ratusan tentara milisia Syiah Lebanon itu masuk ke dalam Suriah dengan menggunakan ID palsu lalu bergabung dengan tentara reguler Suriah dan unit khusus Garda Republik dari Damascus menyerang dan membunuhi rakyat Suriah.

Kota Jdaidah Artouz di pinggiran Damascus adalah salah satu ladang pembantaian rezim Basyar al-Assad yang dibantu milisia Syiah Lebanon ini. Pada 21 April lalu, tentara Basyar masuk kota itu bersama milisi Syiah Lebanon itu dan pasukan khusus Garda Republik dan membantai lebih dari 350 warga, mulai dari bayi sampai warga sepuh, dengan menggunakan berbagai senjata, mulai dari senapan sampai pisau.

Bukti-bukti keterlibatan berbagai milisi Syiah – baik yang dari Iran, Iraq maupun Lebanon – dalam perang dan pembunuhan warga Suriah sebenarnya sudah banyak dan mudah didapat. Namun pernyataan Hassan Nasrallah ini adalah yang sejauh ini paling nyata dan tanpa tedeng aling-aling lagi.

Pimpinan opisisi Suriah Mu’adz al-Khatib pada pekan lalu sudah mengeluarkan surat terbuka kepada Hassan Nasrallah dan mendesaknya agar menarik milisinya dari Suriah, demi mencegah terjeblosnya kawasan Timur Tengah ke dalam kekerasan Sunni – Syiah yang mungkin saja akan berlangsung puluhan tahun.

“Apakah Anda merasa puas karena rezim Suriah membombardir rakyatnya sendiri dengan pesawat-pesawat tempur dan rudal-rudah Scud, mencampur darah dan daging anak-anak Suriah dengan roti?” seru al-Khatib. “Apakah Anda senang (mendengar) ribuan wanita Suriah telah diperkosa?”

Sebagaimana diberitakan di atas, Hassan Nasrallah menjawab seruan Mu’adz al-Khatib itu Selasa kemarin dengan pernyataan kesetiaannya sebagai “kawan sejati” rezim Suriah.(sahabatsuriah)
