Salah satu peristiwa dahsyat yang akan terjadi sebelum Hari Kiamat adalah keluarnya Dajjal. Dajjal akan mencari pengikut sebanyak mungkin untuk menemaninya di neraka Jahannam.

Dalam sebuah hadits disebutkan bawa Dajjal keluar dari sebuah negeri di wilayah Timur. Ia muncul bersama tujuh ribu orang Yahudi sebagaimana disebutkan dalam riwayat shahih yang lainnya. Ia dan tentaranya berkeliling ke seluruh penjuru dunia untuk menyesatkan manusia.

Sebab dahsyatnya fitnah Dajjal ini, Rasulullah Saw mengajarkan kepada umatnya untuk berlindung kepada Allah Ta’ala secara khusus dari siksa Dajjal. Bahkan, di antara keutamaan surah al-Kahfi yang disunnahkan untuk dibaca di hari Jum’at adalah ayat-ayat di surah tersebut bisa melindungi pembacanya dari fitnah Dajjal dengan seizin Allah Ta’ala.

Dajjal berkeliling ke seluruh tempat. Namun, ada satu kota yang tidak bisa dimasukinya. Inilah kota yang dipenuhi keberkahan. Keberkahan yang dihamparkan untuk tanahnya, tumbuhan, sayuran, buah-buahan, binatang ternak, airnya, penduduknya dan semua yang terdapat di atas dan bawahnya. Keberkahan ini merupakan keistimewaan yang diberikan oleh Allah Ta’ala kepada siapa atau apa yang dikehendaki-Nya.

“Di atas jalan-jalan dan celah-celah Kota Madinah,” sabda Sang Nabi pada suatu ketika, “terdapat para malaikat.” Karena dijaga oleh para malaikat itu, lanjut Rasulullah Saw sebagaimana diriwayatkan oleh Imam Bukhari dan Muslim, “Maka ia tidak akan dapat dimasuki oleh wabah Tha’un maupun Dajjal.”

Itulah Kota Kenabian yang dijadikan oleh Rasulullah Saw sebagai tempat hijrah. Kota yang di atasnya berdiri Masjid Nabawi. Sebuah masjid penuh keberkahan yang disunnahkan untuk dikunjungi, mendampingi Masjid al-Haram di Makkah dan Masjid al-Aqsha di Palestina. Masjid yang jika shalat di dalamnya, maka diganjari pahala seperti shalat seribu kali di Masjid selainnya dan selain kedua Masjid mulia tersebut (Masjid al-Haram dan al-Aqsha).

Di kota yang terlindung dari Dajjal itu, Rasulullah Saw mendirikan Negara Islam yang pertama kali. Di sana pula beliau mendidik genersi-generasi terbaik dengan tarbiyah Islamiyah selama satu dekade. Di kota itu, Nabi Saw menyiapkan panglima-panglima perang, politikus ulung, penulis hebat, dan sosok-sosok lain yang namanya harum dalam catatan sejarah hingga akhir zaman.

Sebab di kota itu terjamin banyak keberkahan, moga Allah Ta’ala berkenan memperjalankan kita semua untuk berkunjung, beribadah dan menjejaki sejarah kehidupan Rasulullah Saw dan sahabatnya di kota nan penuh kemuliaan itu. [Pirman]
