Kisah nyata berikut ini begitu mengerikan dan menggugah.
Seorang pria menjadi jenazah dan dikuburkan 5 menit.
Kisah ini berdasarkan ceramah ustaz Khalid Basalamah yang menuturkan jika kematian adalah pasti.
Suatu waktu, Ustadz Khalid Basalamah pernah menggelar pengajian dzikrul maut di sebuah masjid.
Selama dua jam, ia memberi materi tentang kematian dibahas tuntas.

Namun sebelumnya, ia telah meminta kepada panitia untuk menyiapkan semua perlengkapan kematian dan dibuatkan liang lahat.
Di akhir sesi ia menawarkan kepada jamaah, siapa yang siap melakukan menjadi jenazah selama lima menit.
Seorang tukang batu bersedia menerima tantangan itu.

Ia pun naik ke atas meja, berbaring di sana untuk dipakaikan kain kafan.
“Subhanallah… begitu dia naik di atas meja, begitu ditutup matanya dan ditempeli kain kafan di pipinya, langsung dia nangis. Nangis terisak-isak,” tutur Ustadz Khalid Basalamah.

Lalu panitia menyedekapkan tangan pria tersebut dan membungkuskan kain kafan.
"Kebetulan ada adik kembar pria yang sering ikut pengajian saya. Dia juga begitu menghayati dan menangis melihat saudaranya dibungkus kain kafan. Saya bilang ke bapak itu, pak silahkan anda resapi sekarang tidak ada lagi yang bisa anda lakukan dan anda benar-benar mati," ucap ustaz Khalid

Dua adik kembarnya yang ada di sebelah meja juga tak kuasa menahan air mata.
Mereka membayangkan jika kakaknya benar-benar meninggal.

“Hiruk pikuk orang di masjid ini, baik yang sedang menangis atau sedang mengobrol, anggap mereka adalah orang yang ada di rumah Anda saat Anda meninggal,” kata Ustadz Khalid Basalamah yang membuat pria itu tambah menangis.

Pak, sekarang bayangkan semua amal shalih yang berpeluang Anda kerjakan mulai dari shalat malam, puasa sunnah, sampai berbakti kepada orang tua namun Anda lewatkan, Anda sia-siakan.
Dan bayangkan setiap peluang dosa yang tidak Anda sia-siakan.
Peluang zina Anda kerjakan, riba Anda lakukan.
Anda tidak sempat bertaubat dan Allah akan menghukum Anda sekarang
Mendengar ini, pria tersebut semakin sesenggukan.
Tangisnya semakin tak tertahankan.
Selanjutnya ustaz Khalid meminta penitia mendatangkan keranda jenazah.

Lalu panitia mendatangkan keranda jenazah dan ustaz Khalid kembali memberi tahu jika keranda jenazah ditangkan dan tubuhnya akan dibawah liang lahat samping masjid.
Setelah diturunkan ke liang lahat, pria itu disuruh membuka matanya.
“Pak, inilah rumah Anda sekarang. Sebentar lagi Anda akan ditanya oleh dua malaikat. Tidak peduli rumah anda di dunia 1000 meter kali 1000 meter. Saat kematian rumah anda akan kembali ke ukuran 1 kali 2 meter," yang sontak membuat pria itu bertambah kuat tangisnya

Kurang dari 5 menit berada di liang lahat.
Saat keluar dari liang lahat, ia sempoyongan.
Sesampainya di masjid, ia disuruh menceritakan apa yang dirasakannya menjadi jenazah.
Ia memegang mic dengan gemetaran.

Suaranya parau. Kata-katanya terhalang isak tangis.
“Saya taubat Pak Ustadz… taubat. Saya sering meninggalkan shalat, saya kurang berbakti pada orang tua…” Dosa-dosa disebutkannya satu per satu, padahal di masjid ada ribuan orang.
Ia seperti tak peduli.

Lima menit menjadi jenazah telah memberinya kesadaran baru.
Selanjutnya ada beberapa jemaah lain yang mencoba pengalaman tersebut dan semuanya sama, menangis dan sadar.
Bahkan dikatakan usataz Khalid ada ibu-ibu pingsan ketika ia mencoba hal tersebut.

Disampingnya ada seorang pria. Ia lalu bertanta kepada pria tersebut, bagaimana jika jenazah ini bangun apa yang akan ia kerjakan.

Pria itu lantas menjawab, jika jenazah itu ketika bangun akan langsung salat, puasa, mengaji dan mengerjakan amal saleh lainnya.

Hasan Al Basri menjawab "benar, itu yang akan dilakukannya, tapi sayang jenazah ini tidak bisa hidup lagi. Sekarang apa yang akan dilakukan jenazah ini itu yang harus kau lakukan sebelum seperti jenazah ini," pungkasnya.
