Sering kita dengar kata-kata ini ketika menghadiri akad nikah sesesorang. Bagi yang beragama Islam, pasti mas kawin berupa peralatan sholat dan mushaf Al-Qur’an sudah menjadi sebuah keniscayaan.

Apalagi di negara yang katanya mayoritas Islam ini, aneh rasanya apabila ada seorang Muslim yang tidak menyertakan 2 mas kawin wajib itu dalam akad nikahnya. Tapi sangat disayangkan, setelah akad nikah selesai, perlengkapan sholat yang dijadikan sebagai mahar terbungkus rapi di dalam lemari tak pernah tersentuh
Tak jauh beda dengan mushaf Al-Qur’an yang dijadikan mas kawin tersimpan rapi di rak buku dan hampir berdebu. Dua barang yang dijadikan sebuah keniscayaan dalam mas kawin itu hanya menjadi pajangan usai ijab kabul. Padahal ada makna spesial dibalik pemberian perlengkapan sholat dan mushaf Al-Qur’an sebagai mahar.

Ketika seorang mempelai pria mengucapkan ”Saya terima nikah dan kawinnya fulanah binti fulan dengan mas kawin seperangkat alat sholat dan mushaf Al-Qur’an“, ada ’beban‘ baru yang dipikulnya. Beban itu adalah sang suami berkewajiban untuk mengajarkan sholat kepada sang istri yang disimboli dengan pemberian seperangkat alat sholat.

Suami juga berkewajiban untuk menjaga sholat istrinya dengan terus mengingatkannya dan membimbingnya supaya tidak melewatkan kewajiban yang satu ini.Karena sholat adalah amalan pertama kali yang akan dihisab pada yaumul hisab kelak.

Begitu pula dengan mas kawin berupa mushaf Al-Qur’an. Mungkin bagi sebagian orang dua mahar ini dianggap sebagai mahar yang murah meriah dan mudah didapatkan di negara yang mayoritasnya muslim ini.

Tapi sebenarnya mahar mushaf Al-Qur’an adalah mahar termahal yang diberikan seorang suami kepada istrinya.Mengapa? Karena dengan memberikan mushaf Al-Qur’an, berarti suami wajib untuk mengajarkan istrinya semua isi dari Al-Qur’an yang diberikannya kepada istri dari

surat Al-Fatihah hingga surat An-Naas.

Suami berkewajiban untuk mengantarkan istrinya kepada akhlaqul qur’an. Suami juga berkewajiban untuk membawa keluarganya kepada kehidupan rumah tangga berdasarkan Al-Qur’an dan menjadikan Al-Qur’an sebagai pedoman kehidupan rumahtangganya.
Bagaimana mahal banget kan mahar yang satu ini?!? Sangat disayangkan ternyata realitas yang ada tidak demikian. Mushaf yang dulunya dibungkus rapi sebagai mahar itu tetap terbungkus rapi dalam plastik bening bergambar hati yang kini tergeletak didalam buffet.

Tak jauh berbeda dengan seperangkat alat sholat yang dulunya dibungkus rapi di dalam keranjang yang dihiasi kertas berwarna-warni kemudian dibungkus dengan plastik bening yang juga bergambar hati itu tersimpan rapi disebelah mushaf Al-Qur’an. Dan dengan bangganya si empunya barang tersebut memamerkan kepada tamu yang hadir, “Ini lho mahar yang dulu diberikan suami saya!”

Subhanallah…

Padahal, menurut M Arief, petugas di Badan Penasihatan Pembinaan dan Pelestarian Perkawinan (BP4) Kota Banjarmasin, ada tanggung jawab tidak ringan bagi pengantin pria yang memberikan mahar seperangkat alat solat ini. “Dia harus mengajarkan dan menuntun sang istri untuk membaca Alquran dan menjalankan salat fardu yang wajib. Minimal seperti itu,”.

Lain halnya, menurut dia, sang istri memang seorang muslimah yang rajin mengaji dan taat beribadah, sehingga artinya mahar seperti ini untuk memberikan dukungan. “Kan tidak semua mempelai perempuan itu muslimah yang taat. Kalau kondisinya demikian dan suami nantinya tidak akan mampu membimngin agar istri rajin mengaji dan taat beribadah, lebih baik mahar yang diserahkan benda lain saja,” ujarnya.

Tak jadi masalah apabila mahar yang diberikan itu sengaja disimpan, karena memiliki mushaf dan peralatan sholat lain. Yang jadi masalah adalah ketika, seusai ijab kabul suami masa bodoh dengan janji yang dulu diucapkannya dan tidak mengindahkan ‘beban’ baru yang harus dipikulnya. Seorang suami memiliki kewajiban untuk menjaga istri dan anak-anaknya dari api neraka, sebagaimana firman Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala dalam surat At-Tahrim ayat 6 :

ﻳَﺎ ﺃَﻳُّﻬَﺎ ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳﻦَ ﺁﻣَﻨُﻮﺍ ﻗُﻮﺍ ﺃَﻧْﻔُﺴَﻜُﻢْ ﻭَﺃَﻫْﻠِﻴﻜُﻢْ ﻧَﺎﺭًﺍ …
”Hai orang-orang yang beriman, peliharalah dirimu dan keluargamu dari api neraka…“

Adh-Dhahak berkata adalah kewajiban bagi seorang Muslim untuk mengajarkan keluarganya, kerabatnya, serta hamba sahaya yang dimilikinya apa-apa yang diwajibkan Allah dan apa-apa yang dilarang Allah. (Lihat Tafsir Al-Qur’an Al-’Azhim, Ibnu Katsir) Dalam kehidupan rumah tangga tanggungjawab ini diamanahkan kepada suami sebagai imam dalam keluarga.

So… buat para istri yang mendapatkan mahar seperangkat alat sholat dan mushaf Al-Qur’an tapi belum diajarkan isi dari Al-Qur’an,jangan ragu untuk menagihnya kepada suami.

Sekalian mengingatkan suaminya, amanat yang mungkin terlupakan oleh suami.
