Kita tentu pernah mendengar ungkapan, “Apalah arti sebuah nama?” Bagi orang muslim nama sangatlah penting bagi diri seseorang karena nama adalah doa yang bisa mempengaruhi jalan hidup seseorang.
Berikut nama-nama yang sering digunakan yang ternyata merupakan nama-nama yang digunakan di kalangan kaum jin:
Zaqwan/Zaquan – anak jin

Balqis – ketua jin
Bagi mereka yang mempunyai nama-nama seperti di atas hendaknya diganti, namun jika tidak memungkinkan karena sudah tercatat di ijazah maupun akta kelahiran dan berkas-berkas administrasi lain tidak perlu untuk ganti nama tetapi cukup dengan mengganti nama panggilan.

Sesungguhnya segala macam penyakit atau kejadian-kejadian buruk yang menimpa, semuanya datang dari Allah SWT. Bukan semata-mata akibat dari nama seseorang, semuanya ketentuan-Nya.
Hanya sebagai peringatan bagi para orang tua agar ketika memberi nama pada putra-putrinya hendaknya menghindari penggunaan nama-nama yang bermakna buruk.
Ibn Umar berkata: “Anak perempuan Umar dinamakan dengan nama ‘Asiah (wanita yang derhaka), lalu dinamakan oleh Rasulullah SAW dengan Jamilah (cantik).” (riwayat Tirmidzi dan Ibn Majah).
Disunatkan mengubah nama yang buruk atau yang tidak baik kerana Nabi SAW telah melakukannya kepada para sahabat baginda, di mana Rasulullah SAW pernah menukar nama seorang yang bernama Abdul Hajar (hamba batu) kepada Abdullah. Ada yang bernama ‘Asi (yang durhaka) lalu ditukar menjadi Muti’ (yang taat).

Contohnya Suzana atau yang menggunakan nama ‘zana’, bunyinya memang enak didengar dan disebutkan tapi maknanya ‘berzina’ bahkan ada nama-nama dari kalangan jin yang di pakai menjadi nama manusia ..
Nama merupakan doa yang bisa mempengaruhi gambaran bagi sifat, gaya hidup dan pemikiran. Nama seperti Rozana, Suzana atau yang menggunakan nama ‘zana’, bunyinya memang enak didengar dan disebutkan tapi maknanya ‘berzina’ atau pun nama ‘wati’ yang berarti ‘bersetubuh’. Jadi hindarilah memberi nama anak dengan nama-nama tersebut.
Dalam Islam juga terdapat beberapa nama yang sebaiknya dihindari untuk diberikan kepada putera-puteri anda kerana maknanya yang tidak baik, buruk dan bisa mendatangkan masalah di kemudian hari.
Kita tentu pernah mendengar ungkapan, “Apalah arti sebuah nama?” Bagi orang muslim nama sangatlah penting bagi diri seseorang karena nama adalah doa yang bisa mempengaruhi jalan hidup seseorang.
Berikut nama-nama yang sering digunakan yang ternyata merupakan nama-nama yang digunakan di kalangan kaum jin:
Zaqwan/Zaquan – anak jin
Qistina/Kistina – penghulu jin
Balqis – ketua jin
Bagi mereka yang mempunyai nama-nama seperti di atas hendaknya diganti, namun jika tidak memungkinkan karena sudah tercatat di ijazah maupun akta kelahiran dan berkas-berkas administrasi lain tidak perlu untuk ganti nama tetapi cukup dengan mengganti nama panggilan.
Sebagai contoh, kalau nama Nur Najwa. Kalau selama ini nama panggilannya adalah Najwa, nama panggilannya cukup diganti menjadi Nur. Namun nama adalah doa, bisa terkabul maupun tidak.
Sesungguhnya segala macam penyakit atau kejadian-kejadian buruk yang menimpa, semuanya datang dari Allah SWT. Bukan semata-mata akibat dari nama seseorang, semuanya ketentuan-Nya.
Hanya sebagai peringatan bagi para orang tua agar ketika memberi nama pada putra-putrinya hendaknya menghindari penggunaan nama-nama yang bermakna buruk.
Ibn Umar berkata: “Anak perempuan Umar dinamakan dengan nama ‘Asiah (wanita yang derhaka), lalu dinamakan oleh Rasulullah SAW dengan Jamilah (cantik).” (riwayat Tirmidzi dan Ibn Majah).
Disunatkan mengubah nama yang buruk atau yang tidak baik kerana Nabi SAW telah melakukannya kepada para sahabat baginda, di mana Rasulullah SAW pernah menukar nama seorang yang bernama Abdul Hajar (hamba batu) kepada Abdullah. Ada yang bernama ‘Asi (yang durhaka) lalu ditukar menjadi Muti’ (yang taat).
Aishah r.a berkata: “Rasulullah telah menukar nama-nama yang buruk.” (riwayat Tirmidzi)
