Kegiatan Kirab Pemuda 2017 di Kabupaten Sorong ikut memeriahkan peringatan Hari Santri Nasional. Para peserta kirab berkesempatan mengikuti apel peringatan khas santri dan berdialog dengan para pelajar ilmu agama islam yang berasal dari sejumlah pesantren di Kabupaten Sorong.
Upacara peringatan Hari Santri Nasional di Kabupaten Sorong itu dilakukan di Pesantren Minhajut Tolibin di Distrik Aimas, Kabupaten Sorong, Papua Barat, Minggu (22/10).
Usai melakukan upacara, 36 pemuda Kirab yang menyisir wilayah Zona II, dipimpin oleh Deputi Pemberdayaan Pemuda Kemenpora Prof Faisal Abdullah, berinteraksi dan berdialog dengan para santri di Pesantren Minhajut Tolibin.
Turut hadir dalam acara ini Ketua Pengurus dan Rois Syuriah PCNU Kabuapaten Sorong, KH Rofiul Amri dan KH Ahmad Sutedjo serta pengurus GP Anshor dan Fatayat NU setempat.
“Apa itu Kirab Pemuda dan apa tujuannya,” tanya Fauziah, salah seorang santri yang bertanya.
“Kirab Pemuda ini menjadi napak tilas ke daerah-daearh di wilayah Tanah Air untuk memahami kebihenakaan dan menjaga persatuan,”ujar Novi, peserta kirab asal Gorontalo yang berkesempatan menjawab pertanyaan.
Kirab Pemuda 2017 yang mengusung tagline Berani Bersatu, diikuti oleh pemuda terbaik perwakilan 34 provinsi hasil dari seleksi yang ketat. Mereka yang ikut kirab ini adalah hasil selekasi ketat dari ribuan pendaftar.
Kirab Pemuda 2017 diikuti 72 peserta yang akan akan menyusur 34 provinsi dan melakukan berbagai kegiatan di daerah-daerah yang dilewati. Peserta kirab ini dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, masing-masing 36 orang.
Kelompok pertama menyisir Zona 1 yang meliputi wilayah barat RI dan kini sudah berada di Deli Serdang Sumatera Barat, sementara kelompok kedua yang sudah singgah di Sorong dan akan melanjutkan perjalanan ke Ambon, sedang menyisir wilayah Timur RI.
Faisal Abdullah mengatakan, dengan interaksi dan dialog bersama para Santri, peserta Kirab Pemuda 2017 yang berasal dari berbagai kalangan dan agama, diharapkan bisa mengenali kehidupan Santri.
Sebaliknya, para santri dan masyarakat juga tahu dengan kegiatan Kirab Pemuda yang baru tahun ini digelar di Kemenpora.
“Santri tidak hanya mengaji, tapi juga berguna bagi bangsa. Bukan cuma mengurusi agama, tapi juga negara. Seperti Gus Dur, santri nomor satu yang menjadi Presiden,” ujar Deputi.
Menurut dia, Kirab Pemuda ini digelar sebagai bagian dari upaya mempererat kebhinekaan RI.
Termasuk keragaman keberagamaan. “Keberagamaan bisa merawat keragaman. Makanya dalam rangkaian Kirab Pemuda juga digelar kegiatan Gerakan Pemuda Membaca Kitab Suci,” jelas Faisal.
Di Sorong, kegiatan Gerakan Pemuda Membaca Kitab Suci (GPMKS) sebagai rangkaian Kirab Pemuda ini telah digelar pada Rabu (18/10) dibuka oleh Asdep Peningkatan Tenaga dan Sumber Daya Pemuda, Djunaedi. Kegiatan GPMKS ini diikuti oleh semua pemeluk agama yang diakui dengan membaca kitabnya masing-masing.
Selain dialog antara Santri dengan perserta Kirab Pemuda 2017, peringatan Hari Santri Nasional 2017 di Sorong juga diisi dengan Kirab Santri dan pameran kreasi dan panggung hiburan santri.
Sementara peserta Kirab Pemuda menggelar pertunjukkan musik Indie, pameran kreativitas dan mengunjungi tempat-tempat pariwisata di Papua Barat.
Kirab Pemuda 2017 diikuti 72 peserta yang akan akan menyusur 34 provinsi dan melakukan berbagai kegiatan di daerah-daerah yang dilewati. Peserta kirab ini dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, masing-masing 36 orang.
Kelompok pertama menyisir Zona 1 yang meliputi wilayah barat RI dan kini sudah berada di Deli Serdang Sumatera Barat, sementara kelompok kedua yang sudah singgah di Sorong dan akan melanjutkan perjalanan ke Ambon, sedang menyisir wilayah Timur RI.
Faisal Abdullah mengatakan, dengan interaksi dan dialog bersama para Santri, peserta Kirab Pemuda 2017 yang berasal dari berbagai kalangan dan agama, diharapkan bisa mengenali kehidupan Santri.
Sebaliknya, para santri dan masyarakat juga tahu dengan kegiatan Kirab Pemuda yang baru tahun ini digelar di Kemenpora.
“Santri tidak hanya mengaji, tapi juga berguna bagi bangsa. Bukan cuma mengurusi agama, tapi juga negara. Seperti Gus Dur, santri nomor satu yang menjadi Presiden,” ujar Deputi.
Menurut dia, Kirab Pemuda ini digelar sebagai bagian dari upaya mempererat kebhinekaan RI.
Termasuk keragaman keberagamaan. “Keberagamaan bisa merawat keragaman. Makanya dalam rangkaian Kirab Pemuda juga digelar kegiatan Gerakan Pemuda Membaca Kitab Suci,” jelas Faisal.
