Tidak ada jendela untuk masuknya cahaya matahari atau ventilasi seperti rumah pada umumnya.

Tapi jangan melihat sesuatu dari luarnya saja, kamu harus melihat apa yang ada di dalam bangunan kecil ini.

Bangunan ini merupakan sebuah proyek dari Torii Cinema Company.

Perusahaan tersebut mempunyai ide membuat sebuah bangunan minimalis namun mempunyai fungsi yang sangat luar biasa.

Gambar di atas merupakan rangka bangunan yang disusun dari beberapa kayu.

Pondasi bawahnya pun menggunakan kayu yang tidak terlalu tebal.

Rangka itu kemudian ditutup lembaran kayu dan di belakangnya nampak kain berwarna putih.

Seperti hunian pada umumnya, bangunan ini juga dipasangi listrik.

Beberapa kabel di set dan lampu pun menyinari bagian dalam bangunan ini.

Setelah semuanya selesai, bangunan minimalis ini kemudian dilapisi pernis.

Warnanya jadi kecokelatan dan nampak elegan saat dipandang.

Bagian luarnya sudah sempurna, lantas seperti apa bagian dalamnya?

Tidak disangka, ternyata bangunan kecil itu merupakan sebuah bioskop mini.

Fasilitasnya pun lengkap, mulai dari kursi penonton, rak camilan hingga poster film-film pilihan.

Interiornya dibuat calm dengan perpaduan warna merah dan hitam.

Kehebatan bioskop mini ini semakin bertambah kala film sedang diputar.

Jika melihat ke bagian langit-langit, di sana dipasang lampu-lampu kecil yang indah.

Di bagian rak camilan, di sana tersedia berbagai jenis snack.

Ada juga rak lain sebagai tempat penyimpanan Xbox dan berbagai jenis kasetnya.

Ia mengyulap halaman belakangnya menjadi luar biasa.

'Surga Tersembunyi' di Halaman Belakang

Sekilas rumah yang satu ini nampak seperti rumah empat kamar biasa.

Berada di pinggir jalan, beberapa tanaman hijau menghiasi pekarangan.

Warna catnya pun tidak terlalu menarik, hanya berwarna cream dan batu bata yang warnanya tidak 'ngejreng'.

Tapi siapa sangka, rumah yang berada di sebuah jalan di Llantwit Major, Wales ini mempunyai 'surga tersembunyi' di halaman belakangnya.

Pemilik rumah sekaligus perancang 'surga tersembunyi' tersebut bernama Don Knight (77).

Don Knight sampai merogoh kocek sebesar 40 ribu pound sterling atau sekira Rp 695 juta untuk menyulap halaman belakang rumahnya.

Emang seperti apa 'surga' yang ada di belakang rumahnya?

Di sana terdapat kepala Buddha, rumput hijau yang terawat, kolam ikan dan pagoda.

Jika kamu memasukki halaman belakang rumah Don, maka kamu seolah sedang berada di Jepang.

"Setiap uang yang saya hasilkan, langsung dihabiskan untuk menyulap kebun. Bahkan saya tidak ingin memikirkan tagihan listrik, ucap Don, dilansir dari Mirror.co.uk.

Keindahan kebun ini sangat bergantung kepada Don.

Pasalnya hanya dia lah yang menjadi otak utamanya, meskipun sang istri kerap ikut membantu.

Bahkan saat Don libur bekerja, ia menghabiskan waktu selama 12 jam berada di kebunnya.

"Sebelum ke dapur, saya pasti akan memeriksa bonsai. Malahan saya tetap di kebun meski hari sedang hujan," tambah Don.

Kegemaran Don dalam menata kebun ternyata sudah muncul sejak usianya 12 tahun.

Kala itu Don melihat pemberitaan di tahun 1950-an mengenai pria yang membudidayakan pohon Ming.

Ia pun kemudian mencobanya, namun tanamannya malah busuk.

Dari situlah Don merasa tertarik membudidayakan tanaman.

Ditambah lagi ia sering melakukan perjalanan ke Jepang dan China.

"Aku mengunjungi Jepang dan China, di sana saya langsung jatuh cinta dengan budaya bonsai. Bonsai adalah kebanggaan dan kegembiraan saya," kata Don Knight.

Berkat tangan kreatif Don, kini halaman belakangnya menjadi objek yang digemari para pecinta tanaman hijau.

Saking tenarnya, pernah ada 140 orang dalam sehari berbondong-bondong mendatangi 'surga' di belakang rumah Don.

Taman milik Don ini kemudian masuk dalam bagian National Open Garden Scheme yang diperuntukan untuk mengumpulkan dana amal.

Para tamu yang datang ke kebun akan ditemani pemandu selama satu jam.

Tidak hanya itu, tamu juga akan diperkenalkan mengenai budaya Jepang.

"Orang-orang terkesima. Saya menerima email yang mengatakan kebun itu adalah kebun terbaik yang pernah mereka lihat," ungkap Don Knight.
