Belakangan ini netizen diramaikan dengan meninggalnya Bayi Adam Fabumi.

Bayi mungil tersebut menghembuskan napas terakhirnya pada hari Rabu (22/11/2017).

Kabar itu pertama kali dibagikan oleh suster yang merawatnya selama di Rumah Sakit, Prima Watie.

Bayi Adam terlihat tersenyum di akhir hayatnya, dan seperti sedang tidur nyenyak.

Berikut fakta-fakta mengenai Bayi Adam :

1. Adam Fabumi Kamaludin lahir pada tanggal 24 April 2017, pukul 09:34 WIB.

2. Ia merupakan putra pasangan Ratih Megasari dan Ludi.

3. Adam didiagnosa terkena Trisomy 13 (Patau Syndrome).

4. Adam juga dideteksi mengidap Sindrom Dandy - Walker sejak masih dalam usia kandungan 5 bulan.

5. Setelah Adam dilahirkan, Adam didiagnosa memiliki beberapa kelainan pada organ vitalnya ; kelainan jantung bawaan, pembesaran saluran ginjal, Laringomalasia, Dandy Walker, cleft palate (sumbing dalam) dan Polydactyly.

6. Kelainan ini membuat Adam harus dirawat pada instalasi NICU dan ventilator.

7. Baby adam merupakan bayi kuat, dan menjadi inspirasi bagi para orang tua yg mempunyai anak berkebutuhan khusus.

8. Sampai menjadi inspirasi RAN untuk membuat lagu yg berjudul "melawan dunia", lagu itu juga menjadi persembahan terakhir bagi Adam.

9. Setelah berjuang, Adam meninggal dunia pada Rabu (22/11/2017) pukul 15.35 WIB.

Apa itu Trisomy 13 ?

Dikuti dari Wikipedia, Trisomy 13 atau Sindrom Patau adalah sindrom yang disebabkan oleh kelainan kromosom, di mana sebagian atau seluruh sel tubuh mengandung bahan genetik ekstra dari kromosom 13.

Materi genetik ekstra mengganggu perkembangan normal, menyebabkan kelainan organ ganda dan kompleks.

Hal ini dapat terjadi baik karena setiap sel mengandung salinan kromosom 13 tambahan (kelainan yang dikenal sebagai trisomi 13 atau trisomi D), atau karena setiap sel mengandung salinan kromosom parsial ekstra (yaitu translokasi Robertsonian) atau karena mosaik Patau sindrom.

Trisomi penuh 13 disebabkan oleh nondisjunction kromosom selama meiosis (bentuk mosaik disebabkan oleh nondisjunction selama mitosis).

Seperti semua kondisi nondisjunction (seperti sindrom Down dan sindrom Edwards), risiko sindrom ini pada anak meningkat dengan usia ibu saat hamil, dengan rata-rata 31 tahun rata-rata.

Sindroma Patau mempengaruhi suatu tempat antara 1 dari 10.000 dan 1 dari 21.700 kelahiran hidup.
