Tapi sesuatu yang luar biasa bukan berarti mukjizat. Jadi apa definisi mukjizat? Mukjizat adalah sesuatu yang tidak bisa dicapai oleh proses alam. Demikian pula di zaman Nabi Isa A.S. (Yesus), orang-orang Yahudi sangat terampil di bidang kedokteran. Tapi ketika Yesus datang dan dapat menyembuhkan orang buta, menyembuhkan penyakit kusta, bahkan orang yang sudah mati bisa dihidupkan kembali olehnya. Karena mukjizat Nabi Isa A.S. (Yesus) yang luar biasa ini, maka mereka tahu bahwa mukjizatnya berasal dari Allah.
Jadi bagaimana mungkin sebuah kitab, yakni Al’Quran dapat menyaingi mukjizat Nabi-nabi yang lain seperti misalnya Nabi Musa A.S. dan Nabi Isa A.S. (Yesus)? Dan tentu saja bahwa setiap mukjizat hanya cocok untuk masa tertentu dan untuk bangsa tertentu. Mukjizat Nabi Musa hanya cocok untuk bangsa Mesir pada zaman itu, karena pada zaman itu mereka begitu mengagumi seni sihir.
Demikian pula, di zaman Nabi Isa A.S. (Yesus), orang-orang yang ahli dalam bidang kedokteran sangat terkesan dengan mukjizat Nabi Isa, sehingga mereka tahu bahwa mukjizatnya berasal dari Allah. Jadi mukjizat-mukjizat para nabi hanya cocok untuk zaman tertentu dan untuk kaumnya saja.
Namun Al-Qur'an adalah mukjizat untuk sepanjang masa. Dan mukjizat Al’Quran, bukanlah hanya pada bagian tertentu saja, namun dari segala aspeknya. Dan salah satu mukjizat Al’Quran adalah ayat-ayatnya, yang dapat menceritakan tentang alam ini, yang biasanya hanya diketahui di kalangan para ilmuwan. Al’Quran berisi informasi yang tidak mungkin diketahui orang pada masa 1.400 tahun yang lalu. Inilah mukjizat ilmiah dari Al’Quran, karena Al’Quran adalah pedoman bagi kita di pada zaman modern sekarang, seperti juga halnya Al-Qur'an merupakan pedoman pada zaman Nabi Muhammad S.A.W.
Tapi topik kita dalam tulisan ini bukanlah mukjizat ilmiah Al-Qur'an. Kita akan membahasnya dalam tulisan selanjutnya. Topik kita pada tulisan kali ini adalah tentang keajaiban bahasa Al-Qur'an.
Kita tahu bahwa bahasa Arab adalah bahasa yang hidup. Orang-orang masih berbicara dalam bahasa Arab pada zaman sekarang. Orang-orang zaman sekarang bisa memahami isi Al-Qur'an meskipun kitab ini telah berumur 1.400 tahun. Di dunia ini, mungkin hanya Al-Qur’an-lah satu-satunya kitab yang memiliki kelebihan ini, sebuah kitab yang sangat kuno tapi orang-orang masih dapat mengerti & memahami bahasanya.
Selanjutnya, saya ingin menjelaskan keadaan jazirah Arab pada zaman Nabi Muhammad S.A.W. Jazirah Arab pada zaman Nabi Muhammad adalah sebuah negeri dengan peradaban yang terbelakang. Tidak ada teknologi yang maju disana, bahkan kehidupan di Jazirah Arab pada masa Nabi Muhammad bersifat barbar. Orang-orang Arab pada masa itu sangat kejam. Kebiasaan mereka adalah membunuhi bayi-bayi perempuan. Mereka juga tidak punya jalan-jalan yang bagus, tidak ada bangunan yang bagus, semuanya serba terbelakang.
Satu-satunya peradaban yang mereka miliki adalah kemampuan berbahasa. Mereka sangat ahli dalam berbahasa. Bahkan, mereka menjuluki orang-orang non-Arab dengan sebutan “ajmi” yang berarti orang bodoh dan bisu. Mereka juga sangat menyukai puisi. Bahkan mereka memiliki pasar untuk orang-orang yang suka berpuisi. Pasar itu bernama "wuhaz."
Perlu diketahui bahwa Nabi Muhammad S.A.W. buta huruf, dia bukan seorang yang berpendidikan, dia bukan seorang sastrawan, dan dia bukan seorang penyair. Namun dia dikenal sebagai orang yang jujur dan dapat dipercaya. Dan kemudian dia datang membawa ayat-ayat Al-Qur'an yang luar biasa kualitasnya. Ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an merupakan karya sastra yang sangat luar biasa dengan tata bahasa yang tidak dapat ditandingi orang-orang Arab manapun. Inilah bukti bahwa Al-Qur'an memang berasal dari Tuhan.
Dan Allah membuat tantangan. Tantangan yang pertama adalah karena orang-orang berkata: "Muhammad-lah yang mengarang-ngarang Al’Quran." Jadi ayat Al-Qur'an pun diturunkan Allah. Dalam surat ke Ath-Thuur dalam ayat 33-34
“Ataukah mereka mengatakan: "Dia (Muhammad) membuat-buatnya." Sebenarnya mereka tidak beriman. Maka hendaklah mereka mendatangkan kalimat yang semisal Al Qur'an itu jika mereka orang-orang yang benar.” (Q.S. Ath Thuur:33-34)
Dan para orang-orang kafir Mekkah tidak mampu membuat sesuatu yang menandingi Al-Qur’an, maka kemudian Allah berfirman dalam surat Hud ayat 13-14
Bahkan mereka mengatakan: "Muhammad telah membuat-buat Al Qur'an itu", Katakanlah: "(Kalau demikian), maka datangkanlah sepuluh surat-surat yang dibuat-buat yang menyamainya, dan panggillah orang-orang yang kamu sanggup (memanggilnya) selain Allah, jika kamu memang orang-orang yang benar. Jika mereka yang kamu seru itu tidak menerima seruanmu (ajakanmu) itu maka ketahuilah, sesungguhnya Al Qur'an itu diturunkan dengan ilmu Allah, dan bahwasanya tidak ada Tuhan selain Dia, maka maukah kamu berserah diri (kepada Allah)?” (Q.S. Hud:13-14)
Dan ini tidak pernah dilakukan para penyair sebelumnya. Jika mereka diberi tantangan, maka mereka harus merespon sendiri, mereka tidak pernah meminta bantuan orang lain. Bagaimana mungkin anda bisa membuktikan bahwa anda adalah seorang penyair besar, jika anda meminta bantuan orang lain? Meskipun begitu, Allah berfirman bahwa mereka cukup membuat sepuluh surat saja dan mereka dapat memanggil kawan-kawan mereka untuk membantu. Tapi mereka masih tidak sanggup memenuhi tantangan ini.
Jadi Allah memberikan mereka tantangan yang sangat mudah. Di surat Al-Baqarah dalam ayat 23-24:
"Dan jika kamu (tetap) dalam keraguan tentang Al Quran yang Kami wahyukan kepada hamba Kami (Muhammad), buatlah satu surat (saja) yang semisal Al Quran itu dan ajaklah penolong-penolongmu selain Tuhan, jika kamu orang-orang yang benar. Maka jika kamu tidak dapat membuat(nya) -- dan pasti kamu tidak akan dapat membuat(nya), peliharalah dirimu dari neraka yang bahan bakarnya manusia dan batu, yang disediakan bagi orang-orang kafir."
(Q.S. Al-Baqarah:23-24)
Inilah tantangannya. Dan surat yang paling pendek adalah:
“innaa a'thaynaakal kawtsar. fashalli lirabbika wanhar. inna syaani-aka huwal-abtar."
(Q.S. Al-Kautsar)
Hanya tiga ayat namun orang-orang Arab manapun tidak mampu membuat tiga ayat saja yang seperti Al’Quran. Dan Allah berfirman bahwa selamanya tidak akan ada yang mampu menandingi Al’Quran.
Di surat Al-Isra’ dalam ayat 88:
"Katakanlah: "Sesungguhnya jika manusia dan jin berkumpul untuk membuat yang serupa Al Qur'an ini, niscaya mereka tidak akan dapat membuat yang serupa dengan dia, sekalipun sebagian mereka menjadi pembantu bagi sebagian yang lain.” (Al-Isra’:88)
Bagaimana mungkin Nabi Muhammad yang buta huruf, tidak pandai berpuisi, namun dia dapat menghasilkan sebuah karya yang tak tertandingi, yang begitu indah, dan begitu fasih, bahkan para ahli dari segala macam puisi dalam bahasa Arab tidak dapat menandingi surat terpendek Al-Qur'an? Bahkan mereka lebih memilih untuk melawan Nabi Muhammad sehingga perdagangan dan reputasi mereka hancur. Bagaimana mungkin mereka lebih memilih untuk menderita, daripada hanya memenuhi tantangan sederhana untuk membuat satu surat yang semisal Al’Quran? Itu karena mereka tidak akan pernah bisa melakukannya.
Dan At-Taburi, seseorang yang terkenal dalam menjelaskan keindahan Al’Quran, dia berkomentar:
" Al’Quran berekspresi dengan kefasihan terbesar, membuat maksud pembicara jelas & memfasilitasi pemahaman pendengar, yang merupakan tingkat tertinggi yang paling gemilang dari keindahan. Dan Al-Qur’an naik melampaui tingkat kefasihan dan kemampuan manusia sehingga tidak ada hamba Tuhan yang mampu menyamainya. Maka hal ini menjadi bukti & tanda bagi Nabi Muhammad sebagai utusan Yang Maha Kuasa. Maka Al-Qur’an dapat disamakan dengan mukjizat membangkitkan orang mati, menyembuhkan penderita kusta, dan menyembuhkan orang buta. Semua ini membuktikan tanda-tanda kerasulan, karena semua ini melampaui tingkat pencapaian yang dapat dicapai oleh obat-obatan, umat manusia, & terapi penyembuhan.
Sangat jelas bahwa tidak ada wacana yang lebih fasih, tidak ada kebijaksanaan yang lebih mendalam, tidak ada pidato yang lebih luhur, tidak ada bentuk ekspresi yang lebih mulia daripada wacana yang jelas yang berasal dari ucapan seorang pria. Dia menantang orang-orang yang mengaku sebagai penguasa seni pidato, retorika, puisi, prosa, prosa berirama, dan sajak-sajak peramal. Muhammad S.A.W. menghancurkan khayalan mereka untuk menunjukkan betapa tidak memadainya logika mereka. Ia memisahkan diri dari agama mereka dan memanggil mereka semua untuk mengikutinya, untuk menerima seruannya, untuk bersaksi kepada kebenaran, dan menegaskan bahwa ia adalah utusan yang dikirim Tuhan kepada mereka. Dia membuat mereka tahu bahwa kebenaran yang dia katakan adalah bukti asli kenabiannya yang bayan.
Dia berseru dalam bahasa yang seperti bahasa mereka, dalam sebuah seruan yang maknanya mengkonfirmasi arti dari ucapan mereka. Kemudian ia mengatakan kepada mereka, bahwa mereka tidak akan mampu menciptakan sesuatu yang sebanding dengan bahkan satu surat saja dari kitab yang ia bawa, dan bahwa mereka tidak memiliki kekuatan untuk melakukan hal ini. Mereka semua tersadar mengakui ketidakmampuan, mereka mengakui kebenaran dari apa yang dibawa olehnya dan menjadi saksi atas ketidakberdayaan mereka sendiri.” (At-Taburi)
Dan Al Bayan merupakan julukan Al’Quran yang berarti wacana yang jelas. Al-Qur’an juga mempunyai julukan lainnya, yaitu Al Hikmah (kebijaksanaan) dan Al Furqan (pembeda antara yang benar & yang salah). Lihatlah kejadian yang luar biasa dan tantangan dari Al’Quran. Orang-orang tidak akan pernah mampu menandinginya & bahkan sampai zaman sekarang tidak ada yang mampu menandinginya. Dan seseorang mungkin berkata: "Yah, mungkin memang ada seseorang yang dapat menghasilkan suatu karya yang sebanding dengan Al-Qur'an, tapi mungkin tidak pernah diketahui siapapun.” Tapi itu tidak mungkin, jika seseorang memang dapat menulis sesuatu yang sebanding dengan Al’Quran, maka pesan Nabi Muhammad akan hancur, dia akan dipermalukan, dan tak ada seorang pun yang akan mendengarkan dia. Seperti yang tadi saya sebutkan, mereka lebih suka berperang melawan Nabi Muhammad daripada menghasilkan satu surat saja yang menandingi Al’Quran.
Sekarang mari kita lihat apa kata para orientalis yang telah mengakui bahwa Al’Quran tidak mungkin ditiru. E.H. Parmer dalam bukunya The Quran, menulis:
"Penulis Arab terbaik manapun tidak pernah berhasil memproduksi sesuatu dalam tingkat yang sama dengan Al’Quran." (The Quran, E.H. Parmer)
H.A.R. Gibb dalam bukunya Islam: A Historical Survey, berkomentar:
Dalam kurun waktu 1.400 tahun, tidak ada orang yang pernah bermain dalam instrumen yang sangat dalam seperti yang Muhammad lakukan. Instrumen yang sangat kuat dan tegas, sangat berani dan mempunyai berbagai efek emosional. Sebagai sebuah monumen sastra, Al’Quran berdiri dengan sendirinya. Sebuah produksi yang unik dalam literatur Arab & tidak ada yang menjadi pelopor atau penerus Al-Qur’an." (Islam: A Historical Survey, H.A.R. Gibb)
Bahkan para non-Muslim telah mengakui kebenaran Al-Qur’an. Jadi bagaimana mungkin seorang pria yang buta huruf, menghasilkan keindahan yang luar biasa. Bahkan sampai zaman modern sekarang, tidak ada orang-orang Arab yang mampu menghasilkan sesuatu yang menandingi Al-Qur’an. Tidakkah anda berpikir bahwa memang Al’Quran adalah firman Allah, bahwa memang Muhammad S.A.W. adalah utusan Allah? Bukankah memang seharusnya kita semua mengucapkan:
Asyhadu Anla Illaha Illalah wa asyhadu anna Muhammadar Rasulullah
(Aku bersaksi bahwa tidak ada Tuhan selain Allah dan Nabi Muhammad adalah utusan Allah)
