Sebagaimana klaim orang-orang kafir dari golongan Ahli Kitab (Yahudi dan Kristen) terhadap Alkitab, orang-orang kafir dari golongan musyrik Hindu juga mengklaim bahwa Kitab Weda adalah kitab yang bersifat universal, karenanya mereka pun berusaha memperkenalkan ajaran Weda kepada setiap orang.
Sungguh, suatu klaim yang tak berdasar. Orang-orang Hindu tampaknya lebih mementingkan ego terhadap ajaran agamanya yang sebenarnya merupakan warisan tradisi leluhur secara turun-temurun yang tidak jelas. Secara kasat mata saja, kita bisa melihat bahwa praktek-praktek ibadah Hindu adalah praktek-praktek kepercayaan kuno yang tidak mungkin disebut universal.
Berkaitan dengan ketidakuniversalan Hindu dan Weda ini, Gotama Smarti berkata:
“Apabila orang Sudra kebetulan mendengarkan Kitab Weda dibaca, maka adalah kewajiban raja untuk mengecor cor-cor timah dan malam dalam kupingnya; apabila seorang Sudra membaca mantra-mantra Weda, maka raja harus memotong lidahnya, dan apabila ia berusaha untuk membaca Weda, maka raja harus memotong badannya.” (Gotama Smarti:12).
Jelaslah, bahwa Kitab Weda yang diklaim Hindu sebagai kitab universal itu, ternyata hanyalah sebuah kitab untuk golongan tertentu saja, yang sekaligus membantah dugaan keuniversalannya.
Lebih jauh, kitab-kitab agama Hindu lainnya justru meramalkan kedatangan seorang tokoh yang sangat cocok bahkan sama persis dengan sosok Nabi Muhammad Saw. Berikut ini kami suguhkan beberapa ramalan tentang Nabi Muhammad Saw dalam berbagai kitab agama Hindu:
1. Dalam kitab agama Hindu yaitu Atharvaveda, terdapat nubuat:
“Hai orang banyak, dengarlah ini dengan sungguh-sungguh, Narashanga (Yang terpuji) akan dibangkitkan di antara orang banyak. Kita mengambil orang Kaurum (Muhajirin) itu di dalam perlindungan kita dari 60.000 dan 90 musuh-musuh; yang kendaraannya adalah 20 unta dan 2 unta betina, memiliki 12 orang istri, dan naik ke langit dengan kendaraan tercepat (Bouraq)…” (Atharvaveda Kanda 20 Saukata 127, Mantra 1-2).
Narashangsa = Yang terpuji = Muhammad. kata “Kauram” berarti “emigran” yaitu orang yang meninggalkan negerinya sendiri, dalam bahasa Arabnya: “Muhajirin”. Muhammad dan pengikutnya ketika hijrah dari Mekah ke Madinah untuk menghindari serangan kaum kafir Mekah yang berjumlah 60.000 orang dan 90 kepala sukunya, dikenal sebagai “Kaum Muhajirin”, sedangkan orang-orang Madinah yang menyambutnya dikenal sebagai “Kaum Anshar”. Dari sinilah tonggak dimulainya Tahun Hijriyah (hijrah = pindah). Kendaraan yang dipakai Muhammad adalah unta dan kuda. Muhammad memiliki 12 orang istri yaitu: Khadijah, Saudah, Aisyah, Hafsah, Zainah, Ummu Salamah, Zainab, Juwairiah, Raihanah, Ummu Habibah, Shafiah, dan Maimunah. Ketika melakukan Mi’raj dari Masjid Al-Aqsha di Palestina ke langit ke-7, Muhammad mengendarai Bouraq yang merupakan kendaraan tercepatnya.
2. Dalam kitab agama Hindu yaitu Atharvaveda, terdapat nubuat :
“Tuhan akan memberikan kepada Mamaha Rishi seratus keping emas, sepuluh kalung, tiga ratus ekor kuda, dan 10.000 ekor sapi.” (Atharvaveda Kanda 20 Saukata 127, Mantra 3).
Kata “Mamaha” secara etimologis berasal dari bahasa Arab: “Muhammad” yang berarti “yang terpuji”, sedangkan “Mamaha Rishi” adalah julukan bagi Narashangsa, sehingga Mamaha Rishi = Narashangsa = Muhammad = Yang Terpuji. Adapun “seratus keping emas” maksudnya seratus orang pengikut Muhammad penyebar agama Allah yang disebut “Ash-Shabus Shuffah”. “Sepuluh kalung” maksudnya sepuluh orang yang selalu membantu Muhammad dalam peperangan yang disebut “Asy-Syara Mubasysyara”. “Tiga ratus ekor kuda” maksudnya 300 tentara pimpinan Muhammad ketika menghadapi 700 tentara kafir Mekah dalam Perang Badar (H.G. Wells, The Outline of History, 1949). “10.000 ekor sapi” maksudnya 10.000 pengikut Muhammad ketika memasuki kota Mekah (630 M) dalam keadaan aman dan damai, yang dikenal dengan peristiwa “Fathu Makkah” (Stanley Lane Poole, Speeches and Table Talks of the Prophet Mohammed, 1882).
3. Dalam beberapa literatur tertentu, terdapat kesamaan keterangan yang mengarah kepada Muhammad, antara lain:
– “Mamaha adalah penunggang unta dari daerah padang pasir”
(Atharvaveda 20:9:31);
-“Mamaha terkenal dengan 10.000 pengikutnya” (Rigveda 5:27:1);
-“Pada masa Mamaha , himne baru (syariat baru) akan disusun dan dibacakan selama kebaktian sebagai pengganti Weda yaitu Jamat (berjamaah) dan Salat (doa)” (Rigveda 1:109:2);
-“Musa berprediksi: ‘…kelihatanlah ia dengan gemerlap cahayanya (Al-Quran) dari gunung Paran (Mekah), dan datang bersama 10.000 orang yang kudus…” (Ulangan 33:2);
-“Kekasihku adalah putih dan kemerah-merahan, pemimpin terkemuka di kalangan 10.000 manusia” (Kidung Agung 5:10);
-“Lihatlah, orang mulia ini datang bersama 10.000 pengikutnya yang kudus (Yudas 1:14);
-“Nabi Muhammad berangkat bersama dengan 10.000 orang pada saat yang menentukan ini” (Washington Irving, Life of Muhammad, Hal. 17);
-“…dan Muhammad membawa 10.000 pengikutnya ke Mekah” (Stanley Lane Poole, Speeches and Table Talks of the Prophet Mohammed, 1882).
Jadi, jelaslah bahwa yang dimaksud dengan “Mamaha” atau “Orang Mulia” tidak lain adalah Muhammad.
4. Dalam kitab agama Hindu yaitu Bhagabat-Purana, terdapat nubuat:
“Dia dihiasi dengan delapan sifat dan kekayaan, menunggang kuda cepat (Bouraq) yang diberikan kepadanya oleh para malaikat dan memegang pedang di tangannya, penyelamat dunia akan menumpas segala kebatilan.” (Bhagabat-Purana 12:2:19).
“Kuda cepat” adalah Bouraq (lihat butir 1 di atas) dan Muhammad selalu membawa pedang dan/atau panah ketika berperang. Dalam kitab Shahih Imam Bukhari, dari Anas katanya: “Aku pernah melihat Rasulullah (Muhammad) menunggang kuda dengan sebilah pedang tergantung di sampingnya.” (H.R. Bukhari).
5. Dalam kitab agama Hindu yaitu Kalki- Purana, terdapat nubuat:
“Wahai Tuhan, bersama dengan empat orang sahabat, aku akan menghancurkan kebatilan.” (Kalki-Purana 2:5).
Muhammad memiliki 4 orang sahabat yang terkenal sampai sekarang yang disebut “Khulafaur Rasyidin” yaitu: Abu Bakar ash-Shidiq, Umar bin Khatab, Utsman bin ‘Affan, dan Ali bin Abu Thalib. Untuk membandingkan kata “kebatilan”, lihat kembali butir 4 di atas dan periksa butir 6 di bawah ini.
6. Dalam kitab agama Hindu yaitu Kalki-Purana dan Bhagat-Purana, terdapat nubuat:
“Kalki Avatar akan dilahirkan di kota Shambal, ibunya bernama Sumati, bersama empat orang temannya akan mengalahkan kali (setan/kebatilan)….Dia akan dibantu oleh para malaikat di medan pertempuran.” (Kalki-Purana 2:4-7).
“Ayahnya bernama Vishnu-Yash.” (Bhagabat-Purana 12:2:18).
“Dia lahir pada hari ke-12 yang cerah, pada pertengahan bulan Madhav.” (Kalki-Purana 2:15).
Kata “Shambhal” berarti: rumah perdamaian dan keamanan. Muhammad lahir di kota Mekah yang dikenal sebagai “Darul Aman” yang juga berarti: rumah perdamaian dan keamanan. Ibunya bernama “Sumati” yang berarti: lemah lembut dan cerdas. Ibu Muhammad bernama “Aminah” yang juga berarti: lemah lembut. Ayahnya bernama “Vishnu-Yash” yang berarti: hamba Tuhan (Vishnu = Tuhan). Ayah Muhammad bernama “Abdullah” yang berarti juga: hamba Allah/Tuhan. “Empat orang temannya” adalah Abu Bakar, Umar, Utsman, dan Ali (lihat butir 5 di atas). Kalki Avatar dibantu oleh para malaikat di medan pertempuran. Ketika Perang Badar, Muhammad dibantu oleh para malaikat (QS. Al Imran : 123-125), juga dalam Perang Khandaq, Muhammad dibantu oleh para malaikat (QS. Al-Ahazab : 9). Kalki Avatar lahir pada hari ke-12 bulan Madhav. Muhammad juga lahir pada hari ke-12 tepatnya tanggal 12 Rabiul Awwal Tahun Gajah (Sebelum Hijriyah). Jadi, Kalki Avatar tidak lain adalah Muhammad, sedangkan “Kalki Avatar” sendiri berarti: pembersih dosa yang datang ke dunia.
7. Dalam kitab agama Hindu terdapat Ramalan Mahabharata, antara lain:
“…Dia akan lahir di sebuah kota yang bernama Shambhal (Mekah)….Dia pergi berperang untuk mengalahkan lawan….Menghancurkan penjahat (berhala), kemudian melaksanakan ziarah terakhir (Haji Wada‘)….Rumah (Ka’bah) yang diisi oleh penjahat, dengan tuhan-tuhan buatan tangan mereka (patung/berhala); Sekarang dibersihkan untuk tempat penyembahan kebenaran. Dengan ketundukannya, seorang raja (Muhammad) berdiri menghadap-Nya….Kemudian mereka mempersembahkan doa (sholat) dan korban (qurban). Dan berpegang pada enam prinsip utama…” (Mahabharata Bag. Hutan Bab 190).
Pada waktu itu (630 M) terdapat 360 buah berhala mengelilingi Ka’bah. Kemudian oleh Muhammad seluruh berhala tersebut dihancurkan dan Ka’bah dibersihkan (Prof. Hitti, History of the Arab, Bag. I Bab 8 Hal. 118). Muhammad memang menjadi pemimpin umat Islam. Ketika Muhammad melaksanakan Haji Wada’’ (haji perpisahan), sekitar 100.000 umat muslim menghadirinya untuk melaksanakan ibadah haji bersama-sama dengan Muhammad serta Sholat Ied bersama-sama yang dilanjukan dengan penyembelihan hewan qurban. Sedangkan “enam prinsip utama” adalah Syahadat, Sholat, Zakat, Puasa, Haji, dan Jihad fi Sabilillah.
8. Dalam kitab agama Hindu yaitu Bhavishwa-Purana, terdapat nubuat:
“Kemudian seorang dengan julukan ‘orang yang tak berilmu’, Muhammad namanya….Hai orang yang tak berdosa, Roh Kebenaran, dan tuan yang semata-mata, kepadamulah persembahanku…”(Bhaviswha-Purana 3, Khand 3, Aditya 3, Shalob 3,7,8).
Ayat di atas sudah sangat jelas karena menunjuk langsung kepada Nabi Muhammad.
Sementara dalam kitab agama Budha yaitu Kitab Budha, Gautama Budha berkata:
“Wahai Nanda, aku bukanlah Budha yang pertama di dunia, bukan pula yang terakhir. Pada suatu masa, akan lahir seorang Budha di dunia ini yang akan memberikan ajaran tentang kebenaran dan kebatilan….Dia akan menjadi pemimpin dan penuntun seluruh umat manusia….namanya ialah Maitreya.” (Kitab Budha, Carus, hal. 217).
“Maitrea” artinya “yang penyayang”, demikian juga dengan Muhammad, beliau mendapat gelar “Rahmatan lil ‘Alamin” yang artinya “yang penyayang untuk alam semesta” (QS Al-Anbiya':107). Sedangkan Yesus bukanlah Maitreya, karena Yesus datang bukan untuk alam semesta melainkan hanya untuk umat Israel (Matius 15:24: “Aku diutus hanya kepada domba-domba yang hilang dari umat Israel” dan dalam Matius 10:5-6 Yesus berpesan kepada 12 orang muridnya: “Janganlah kamu menyimpang ke jalan bangsa lain atau masuk ke dalam kota orang Samaria; melainkan pergilah kepada domba-domba yang hilang dari umat Israel”).
