Setiap wanita muslimah pasti ingin suaminya menjadi imam bagi keluarga dimana bisa membimbing anak dan istri untuk selalu menjalankan perintah Allah seperti shalat, tilawah ataupun mendatangi majelis ilmu.

Meski demikian, tidak semua wanita memiliki suami yang shalih dan bisa menjadi imam keluarga dalam ajaran Islam. Lantas apakah yang harus seorang istri lakukan untuk menjadikan suami seperti yang diharapkan?
1. Senantiasa Bersabar
Salah satu hal yang harus dilakukan seorang muslim ketika mengalami ujian adalah dengan bersabar, sebagaimana yang telah difirmankan Allah Ta’ala.
“Apakah manusia itu mengira bahwa mereka dibiarkan (saja) mengatakan: “Kami telah beriman”, sedang mereka tidak diuji?” [Q.S Al-Ankabut 29 : 2]
Bahkan dalam surat Al Baqarah, orang yang bersabar akan disertai oleh Allah.

“Hai orang-orang yang beriman, jadikanlah sabar dan shalat sebagai penolongmu, sesungguhnya Allah beserta orang-orang yang sabar.” [Q.S Al-Baqoroh 2 : 153]
2. Memberikan Teladan Kepada Suami
Jangan selalu mengharapkan suami yang memberikan teladan terlebih dahulu, namun seorang istri juga harus memiliki semangat yang sama dalam beribadah. Meski tidak mudah, namun berikanlah contoh yang baik di hadapan suami dan berusahalah untuk istiqomah. Dengan demikian, suami pun akan tergerak untuk ikut serta.

3. Tak Bosan Memotivasi
Agar suami bisa menjadi imam keluarga yang baik, motivasilah dirinya dengan kisah-kisah inspiratif. Sehingga suami menjadi terkesan dan berusaha mengamalkan apa yang ada dalam kisah tersebut.
4. Mendoakan Suami
Tak hanya ikhtiar, seorang muslim juga harus berdoa. Begitu juga seorang istri yang hendaknya senantiasa mendoakan suami agar bisa menjadi pribadi yang shaleh.
Salah satu doa yang bisa dipanjatkan adalah:
“Ya Allah, Dzat yang memalingkan hati, palingkanlah hati kami kepada ketaatan beribadah kepada-Mu.”
5. Senantiasa Mengajak Suami Untuk Ikut Dalam Pengajian
Terkadang untuk berubah diperlukan dorongan dan lingkungan. Karenanya ajaklah suami untuk menghadiri berbagai pengajian sehingga suami bisa mendapatkan pembelajaran dari materi yang disampaikan.
6. Memasukkan Suami Dalam Komunitas Orang Shaleh
Tak kalah pentingnya juga adalah dengan menyertakan suami dalam komunitas orang-orang shaleh. Karena umumnya laki-laki memerlukan sahabat yang bisa mengajaknya dalam kebaikan, disamping dimotivasi oleh istrinya sendiri.
Jadi janganlah sampai berputus asa dari rahmat Allah karena Allah tidak akan menguji hamba-Nya melebihi batas kemampuannya. Wallahu A’lam.
