Memberi makanan pada makhluk Allah termasuk kucing merupakan satu kebaikan. Sesuai dengan firmannya, Allah akan melipatgandakan satu kebaikan dengan 10 kali lipat kebaikan lainnya. Terlebih bila kita memberikan dengan ikhlas dan tak terpaksa.

Bila berbuat baik pada manusia, seseorang kerap menginginkan ada balasan serupa dari orang lain. Namun tak demikian bila manusia berbuat baik pada kucing. Hewan ini pasti tak dapat membalas apa yang sudah kita berikan terhadapnya. Saat membagi makanan dengan hewan ini, manusia belajar bagaimana rasanya berikan dengan penuh keikhlasan. Ketiga
Allah sedang memberitahu jika kita tak memberi makanan pada kucing itu, sesungguhnya kita tengah menampik rejeki baru yang bakal Allah berikan pada kita. Rejeki itu luas bukan hanya sekedar duit, namun meliputi semua kehidupan.
